What we like:
- Portable
- Light weight
- Doesn’t appear to have lost any suction after consistent use over a year
- 2 different heads are ideal for carpets and for harder surfaces
- Comes with good selection of attachments for different circumstances
- 3 modes of power (low, medium & Max) Low seems pointless, Medium is the sweet spot. Max is great if there’s tough dirt or dust
What we didn’t like:
- Max burns through the battery (obviously) in less than 10 minutes
- Medium would last about 30 minutes at most before dying
- Battery is fixed, once it’s dead you’ll need to wait for it to charge - up to 3.5 hours to full
- The Absolute didn’t come with a flexi nozzle. The V10 is very portable but unusable if you need to squeeze in tight gaps e.g. car or cabinets and don't have a flexible nozzle to reach
- The bin isn’t massive so you’ll empty the bin multiple times during a clean of the house, assuming the battery doesn’t run out first
- If there’s anyone with long hair in the house then you’ll find heads worth wrapped round any of the rotating attachments
Verdict:
Overall we’ve been super happy with the V10. It’s portability and light weight make it easy to quickly whip out and do a quick spot clean and to date hasn’t appeared to have lost any suction. Make sure you get the absolute and accessories pack, if you don’t you’ll be missing important nozzles. I believe it’s been a great investment even with some of the limitations of the bin size and battery.
Bought the cyclone V10, all accessories and charging station, 4 years ago and still working great. I use it once a week on medium, lasts for 30 to 40 minutes and takes 3 hours to charge. Love it!
Yeah we still have ours. A great piece of kit. I occasionally clean it out a bit as it gets dirty inside when there’s presence of moisture but it helps keep it in good working order 👌🏻👌🏻
Good review. Just bought V10 to replace our old V6 and am very happy with the V10. I Only need to use on low power mode and does a great job.
Thanks 👌🏻 yes still super happy with ours. Really handy having it tucked away on the wall as it charges and being able to whip it out for a bit of spot cleaning.
Here's a tip for you: before emptying the bin just loosen the filter a little. This prevents the motor coming on while the bin is open, which could coat the filter in dust. Also, don't use max power continuously as it makes the battery warm up which shortens its life.
Great tip with the filter! I can’t count how many times I clip the trigger and set it off 😅

Yeah I agree I have a v11 great vacuum BUT it's a bit fragile, the small motorized head has lost its soft pad (unglued) so it leave marks on fragile surface which really annoys me given the appliance's price tag.
But gets the job done don't get me wrong. Great piece of British engineering.
Yeah it’s a great piece of kit and still going. One of our heads, the mini motorised one broke too. I managed to bodge it back together so it keeps the roller in-line.
The new one with the laser looks crazy!
No way bro, the v11 got display, 3 setting mode, one auto that regulate the suction power in auto according to the dirt it sucs, and 185 air watt power suction , v10 have 150 air watt, and also much more quiet than v10! Also battery last a lot more than 60 minutes in auto mode! Is a big improvment from v10 to v11! Also for big house they produced the v11 outsize that is huge bigger than this and stronger than v11, 220 air watt power suction much bigger! But the way you can always buy the docking station where you can put a second battery in richarge while you use the first one, so you never run out of it!
Would love to upgrade for those reasons but my V10 still does the job at the moment so can’t justify the upgrade. Definitely keeping my eye on them though as they just keep getting better.
I I remember correctly doesn’t the V11 also come with an anti tangle head. That’d be ideal as my wife’s hair always gets stuck in it! 😅
@@harrisonmudge 😂 here in italy they came wihboth heat and the antitangle is the one better for deep cleaning carpet, the fluffy for the hard flor clean much better han the other head! In ukthey sell it only wothantitangle caroet standard head crazy politics dyson! But the way since march 2021 ther's the dyson v15 that is much more quiet, a lot more stronger 240 air watt, and very intelligent adapt the power suction in accord withndirty and have a display that count the different sizes of the particles crazy and a laser led that illuminate and show you on the floor dirty that you are not able to see even wih lights on in the room! I think soonis gona caming a new dyson considering that they made a new model every year and this v15 have 2 years almost so upgrade for the lastmodel one 😅! Sorry for mybad english I'm italian have family in new jersey that ivisited 2 time's and since i was a kid I love so much usa and crazy americans peoples ❤. I was supposed to be there now but i didn't take the shots for covid and I'm not allowed to came, im so disappointed😕
Jeeze! They make them as often as iPhones now! I did see the v15 actually! Look so cool! Definitely still can’t justify it right now 😂
@@harrisonmudge yep, but like I said I thing in a coples of months they gona make a new model, so just wait like I'm doing for now 😂 so if the new one doesn't convince me, but I don't think so, I can buy the v15 at 250 undread euros less than now, or with the same money tha v15 cost now getting the new one 😍😂

Parece que su unidad estaba defectuosa. con suerte, el reemplazo funcionará para usted. En el V10 hay 3 velocidades. baja, media y máxima. como máximo solo durará 10 minutos. En medio, debe obtener al menos 30 minutos antes de que se necesite cargar.

Yeah, sorry I meant like the design and stuff looks like it’s from the V8 which is an older one. Again that’s just assuming they’re copying the same design. Doesn’t mean they’re the same though.
