I’m appreciating the patience you use when you want to adjust your makes. I would either mess it up by immediately ripping it apart without taking the time to ponder the possibilities or bury it in the back of the closet. Not something I’m proud of….. but hearing your tone when you are talking about problems you will solve is very zen (for lack of a better word) and thoughtful. This is only the second video I’ve watched but I enjoy the feel of them. Beautiful fabric choices too.✌️
@@bonnieyoung3370 oh I'm right there with you! I'm trying to be better and not rip things apart immediately. I've found I generally hate everything when I first make it😆 but if I let them sit, I generally really like them. That, or I think of a way to alter them so I do. Thanks so much for watching 😊

I really love hearing you say you want to make the same Ogden dress every year. Most people I know will sew a pattern only once, which seems wasteful. To love a pattern enough to repeat it, and add your own variations is far more interesting. I'd love to see more about how you return to a loved pattern and give each iteration its own look.

What pattern was the Fig Overalls? love them!
It's a mash up between the butterick 4439 and the original idea was the Barry pant by style arc...but it went a bit wild
I'm surprised to hear you used to be blonde. You definitely seem warm-toned to me now, with practically auburn hair.
