For all of you out there that got to see them live during the early 70's...I am sooooo jealous!!! You had it so good and didn't even know it. Nobody makes music like this anymore and thank God someone recorded this masterpiece for us to enjoy forever!
I saw them three times in the 70s at the San Diego sports Arena 73,75,77. Best concerts I’ve ever seen. They never had a warm-up act. They would always come out and say.: this is no ordinary concert. This is a Led Zeppelin concert.😉😍
I was at this concert. July 28th 1973. This might be that show. But never the less,.. it was my first concert. I was 7 years old. Life changing. Epic!!!! “ The mighty Zep”🔥🔥🎸🤘✌️
I saw Zepplin live back in the day, but also saw Page & Plant live, backed by an orchestra as well as an egyptian orchestra. When you see these guys, it becomes very clear why they are who they are.
Tea For One is a beautiful slow blues song, there’s no live from the four of them, just the studio. Plant & his wife & kids were in a bad car accident, his wife almost died from loss of blood. She had a fractured skull & other injuries, his leg was in really bad shape, they didn’t know if he’d walk again. He also had other injuries, & was in a wheelchair for about a year. Since they wouldn’t be able to tour, & something to do with taxes, they left England to record their Presence album. Plant wasn’t happy about being away from his family at the time (understandably). In Tea For One, you can tell how much he wants to be home with his wife, it’s a beautiful soulful song. Thank you for reacting to the beautiful masterpiece SIBLY.
Not this one, the version from the movie has reactions from the crowd, and a security guard freeking out, haha. Only a couple people have reacted to that version.
They actually toured in the US on December 26,1968, before their album came out on January 12,1969. I’m not sure how many concerts they did then, but the 26th one was in Denver.
I was lucky enough to see Plant and Page in concert back in 1997. They had just released an album together, and "After our contractually obligated 3 songs from the new album, then we'll have some real fun!" Robert announced at the beginning of the 3 hour long concert in Albany NY.
Hi, its an incredible live performance, Jimmy & Robert just bounce off of each other. Robert was saying its a drag, working from 7 to 11. Keep the songs rolling people, 😂
I saw Led Zeppelin in concert in 1969 and 1970. It was amazing. Other favorite live bands that I saw in concert are The Who, Jefferson Airplane, Jethro Tull, The Police and Joe Cocker.
2 things. 1) [8:07] "You think they're possessed." - So, you guys haven't heard about Page & the occult? Aleister Crowley's haunted house, Page bought? The mysterious tragedies? 2) What is "Lulu's" musical background? She's either trained in music, or dance. This song is actually hard to flow with for non-musicians, or for music fans who haven't spent a lifetime listening intently, because of the tempo and dynamic changes, and because of the drummer's ludicrous ability to turn beats around and build insanely complex fills that feel like the song is coming apart any second, and then BAM, in the pocket. She was _ON_ _IT_ with this song, physically. He was locked into the vibe (time listening to jazz, no doubt), and she was hooked into the _flow_ of the tune, physically, more than I've seen from even vocal coaches who are musical pros. Hmmm. As a lark, you might try reacting to Jack Black's induction speech when Led Zeppelin was invited to the Kennedy Center. He mentions the band "selling their souls", in front of a stacked audience, like then-President Obama & Michelle, David Letterman, Yo-Yo Ma...it's hysterical. And reverent. As it should be. [2 : 11] ?v=JcsCWRoQ_jQ (You reacted to Heart's version of "Stairway" at _this_ event, a year ago according to your timeline.)
You're right about them selling out stadiums. They sold out Madison Square Garden here not just one night but 3 nights in a row for this. Also sold out 6 nights of Madison Square Garden in a row in 1977. They were the first big stadium touring band and had a bigger/more luxurious plane the the US president's air force one at the time. Also they made their entire following off albums with hardly any radio support or play. Legends
They also beat The Beatles attendance record during this tour too, at Tampa in Florida. The Beatles previously held it for 8 years with their Shea Stadium gig in 1965.
Hey John and LuLu- Missioned Souls cover of Led Z Whole lotta love!! Promise u guys will love these young musical prodigy’s from the Philippines. Opening for Steelheart and white lion in two weeks in their hometown of Cebu. Ages 10-15 a brother and 3 sisters. Warning though, LuLu will have a crush on the 10 year old Little drummer boy. All the females love him. Have a great weekend
Led Zeppelin sold out every single stadium in the world they played in. Even broke the Beatles stadium sales record at the Shay Stadium. If you think about it, they had to play many nights non stop at each stadium cause everytime they opened another day the tickets were sold out again 😊
You mentioned, that they are playing as if they were possesed. Actually, there were many rumours about Led Zeppelin using like dark magic or a pact with the devil himseld to play that good. The Symbols of the bands Logo each mean different things associated with magic, witchcraft etc. for each member one symbol. Only the drummer wasn't into that and used the three circles as his symbol, represanting the drums. But now it get's interesting. Jimmy Page, the guitarist, actually bought a house at loch ness (Yes, in scotland), which was previously owned by Aleister Crowley (Well known Occultist maybe satanist). There are many rumours around this house since there were many "dark" rituals performed in there by Crowley and his followers. Some people even think, that the whole band was cursed. Well, I don't believe in any dark magic but I love, how these rumours add to the mysterious and magical image and sound of the band. One of the best ever.
Whole Lotta love MSG, 1973, the whole version, not cuted version ...MSG, and few Bootlegs, called pirates album in my country France, ARE UNMATCHABLE....😂
Celebration Day was to me the best live concert hands down! And at quite a bit older age,but maturity has its rewards. I played the guitar by ear & I'm quite picky Give that concert a listen to- u won't regret it 😊
I have never heard a live Led Zeppelin song that I liked. I was a kid and teen throughout the 70's. Love every one of their albums. But for whatever reason, they always sound poor live. Many fans say this. Their 70's live album -- The Song Remains The Same -- was panned by critics. And fans. I recall how my friends and I were freaking out at how bad the songs sounded. Especially "Stairway To Heaven." As a matter of fact, the only live LZ song that sounds fantastic is not even performed by them. It's "Stairway To Heaven" performed by Heart et al on "The Kennedy Center Honors."
This video is flipped around. Jimmy Page appears to be to the left of Robert Plant and playing left handed but he is actually to the right of Robert Plant and playing right handed.
For all of you out there that got to see them live during the early 70's...I am sooooo jealous!!! You had it so good and didn't even know it. Nobody makes music like this anymore and thank God someone recorded this masterpiece for us to enjoy forever!
I saw waaaaay back in '77 at the old Richfield collisium ( the old home of the Cavs near Cleveland). GREAT CONCERT

😊
@@juliemanarin4127 yeah - first concert I ever saw was Led Zeppelin back in 1971 in Liverpool - still the best concert I ever saw
As a 61 year old me included…
I so missed out.
Saw a Beatle Paul McCartney in Las Vegas though.❤
NOBODY does it like Zeppelin!!
One of the greatest live performances ever filmed. Great reaction guys.
Greatest SINGER....GUITARIST....DRUMMER, AND BASS PLAYER EVER!
You just can’t go wrong with any song from this MSG concert, they were on fire. Love your reactions

Woah! Lucky!
Greatest of all time! All are Masters of their Craft!
"Ramble On" is a funky little rock tune we all loved.
This is the greatest blues rock song ever from the greatest rovk band to have ever walked the earth.
Yup
I saw Zepplin live back in the day, but also saw Page & Plant live, backed by an orchestra as well as an egyptian orchestra. When you see these guys, it becomes very clear why they are who they are.
He was saying: "yes it's a drag, oh it's a drag.. my my it's a drag" ✌️
was lucky enough to have seen them on their last US tour. they were fantastic.
I was lucky enough to see them on this one, Dec 21 1972, London✌👌
A masterpiece ❤❤❤
the greatest band ever....

This is from the motion picture The Song Remains the Same, which was a staple at the midnight movie in theaters during the 70’s
Not this one, the version from the movie has reactions from the crowd, and a security guard freeking out, haha. Only a couple people have reacted to that version.
The GOAT!
I remember sneaking in to MSG to see Zepplin!!!! Don't remember if it was 1979 or 1978. I still could close my eyes and see them playing!!!!
No way! So awesome!
Must have been '77. That was the last time Zeppelin performed in America.
Would’ve been either 1975 or 1977. They never toured USA after 77 because Plants son died, then Bonzo died just before 1980 tour.
I saw them July of 69 in Salt Lake with Vanilla Fudge it was their first tour following the release of their first album.
They actually toured in the US on December 26,1968, before their album came out on January 12,1969. I’m not sure how many concerts they did then, but the 26th one was in Denver.

Ya era horaaaa, mi canción favorita, saludos desde mexico 🇲🇽⚡🎸

This was a time WHEN GIANTS WALKED THE EARTH 🌎 LED ZEPPELIN ❤
❤❤❤Robert ❤❤❤
Please, please react to "Nobody's Fault But Mine". Zeppelin at their very best!
And to think that the studio version of this song is even better. Give it a listen; it's probably my favorite Zeppelin tune.
Yes I was there for all three nights also saw them first time 1969 Fillmore East in New York

If you like the blues vibe, there are plenty more like it. I would check out In My Time of Dying (Live, I forget where. Earl's Court maybe?)
Women wanted Robert and men wanted to be like him, it's as simple as that.
Awesome reaction you guys great to see people appreciating the rock gods I suggest you check Albert Hall 1970 live the raw talent
I appreciate nd really love you channel. Thank you.

A broken heart put to music.
Now for 'Whole Lotta Love' from the Earls Court concert. It will fry your fragile little minds!!!!!!
Whole Lotta love MSG, 1973, the whole version, not cuted version ...MSG, and few Bootlegs, called pirates album in my country France, ARE UNMATCHABLE....😂

They sold out all 3 nights in a row at msg!! In fact I think they sold out ALL their concerts!
Having the show reversed kept it from getting blocked?
Blues delivered so down and dirty, you need a shower afterwards.
Love this comment!!! 😀 😂
YAY most definitely this song is SexyAF
Led Zeppelin was a live band first.
You need a mop & bucket and a cold shower after this one.
The studio.
Version guitar league is and the vocals are as equal
I have never heard a live Led Zeppelin song that I liked.
