I'm not a father (non birthing parent lol) yet but have one on the way and am an engineer. The rebound bar on the uppa is considerably taller providing more anti rebound leverage. The latch connections are also at a steeper angle which appears to provide more clamp load to the vehicle seat. For those reasons id chose uppa.

For mesa max, some blogs and reddit posts are claiming that after you remove the infant insert, the c-shaped back makes it so that chin touches chest and creates a safety hazard.
Did you also notice that possibility?

Thank you for this !! I was really contemplating between the two, but I’m definitely getting the uppababy so Mesa max it is!

Recently there have been people that are claiming that the Mesa max car seat is creating a C shape when the infant seat is removed. Are you guys aware of this? The problem is that it creates positional asphyxiation.

I love that you say birthing parent. Being inclusive is a good thing and I don’t get why people are getting offended over that.

……is it that hard to not understand why women don’t like that? Shouldn’t be!

@@ortegaalex13 She said it in a way as to where if you just gave birth, the weight of a carseat would make a difference being that you'll be sore.....not in any other weird way..she's speaking for mothers who will be sore and recovering for the next 6 weeks. Now if you haven't birthed a baby but still a mother then those comments wouldn't pertain to you.

@@itsbiancarose4718 dude. What are you talking about??
I’m just saying maybe people are offended over the phrase birthing parent instead of saying mother because it’s called a mother. Not a birth parent. Haha

@@itsbiancarose4718 I’m just saying its not hard to understand why most women who are mothers and have given birth do not like those type of phrases.
It’s definitely a phrase that’s been born during these woke trans times. Not everyone agrees with that BS.

It discontinued a long while back to be revised. The new Aire RX is the newer version of the lite RX

@evitalourdesortiz2411 I'm debating on doing the same thing. What I'm disappointed about is that the new one doesn't have a no rethread harness like the lite rx :(
Considering it's $150 more than an RX, is kind of a turn off

@@TheMoistDonutsI didn’t know about the no rethread. Wasn’t mentioned in the demos I saw online. I may just wait until Nordstrom’s sale in July to see how low they go. I due in August so I have some time to wait for user reviews to come in. Thanks for letting me know about the no rethread

Thank you but can we just say mother and not birthing parent? Birthing parent is very insulting to women.
