Que bien que hay subtítulos en inglés en las partes en que se habla en catalán, así no nos perdemos de toda la riqueza de esas conversaciones, (es que si hay diferencias con el idioma castellano, yo soy mexicano por ejemplo y hablo español, a lo mejor debería haber subtítulos en castellano, jeje). Por otra parte parecería ser que el conjunto musical es un grupo de personas que de manera coloquial se reúnen a interpretar y grabar música, (esa parte aparece como muy cálida, muy agradable), pero en el fondo no sólo es así, son absolutamente profesionales.

@Gary_Edmondson: I agree ... same problem with the video auto subtitles. Thing is, there's at least one interview with Rita on YT in which she speaks good English! I know, because I've done it many times myself, that translating between languages requires time and expertise ... AI algorithms are not yet up to the job. If Rita and co genuinely want to develop an audience (market) outside the Iberian world, they must employ a fluent English speaker for their web site and subtitles. These comments arise from deep respect for the work and a wish for a wider audience, not criticism! 🙂🎶🇦🇺
I, too, am on Team Rita. I guess it is a little victory that they have switched the page to Catalan (which I suppose to be correct) instead of poor English. But, good English versions are available -- for securing the wider audience angle. I'm guessing that Rita, Inc., Corp., Ltd., LLC, etc. probably consists of immediate family members who devote most of their time to making music and getting gigs. They do that very well! Just trying to help spread the word.

Taeko Onuki es una cantante japonés, principalmente conocido por hacer City Pop (un estilo musical que apareció en los años 70 en Japón), que también hizo mucha variedad (música latina, bossa nova, música electrónica, clásica, pop, etc). Los viajes que realizó por el mundo la inspiraron mucho, lo cual se puede ver en algunos de los álbumes que realizó. Bueno igual decir que "no te puedes enterar de nada" es exagerar un poquito no? Igual no soy objetivo porque el catalán lo entiendo sin dificultad sin ser catalán ni haber vivido nunca en Cataluña; pero me cuesta pensar que un castellanoparlante nativo, aunque sea su única lengua, no entienda nada. Y poner subtítulos en castellano Y en inglés llenaría toda la pantalla. Y la mitad de los entrevistados hablan español (o castellano, que es como hay que llamar al español en España para no herir sensibilidades). El nacionalismo lingüístico es estúpido, pero desafortunadamente funciona en todas las direcciones... afortunadamente la música es un lenguaje universal que rompe esas fronteras artificiales.
Y ¿Qué me dice de no sé cuántos miles de hispanos traduciendo del inglés...? Je, je... Es que el catalán es su lengua de cuna. El español no lo dominan así.
