    It surprises me that even this channel hasn't contemplated yet the idea that it's all about love! Love made Nio become the one in the first movie and their love is what powered the seventh matrix and love is what sets them free at the last movie!! Its all about real love for me!! And how the controllers feed of the discomfort people experience in the absence of love!!

      Yeah I think a major issue is that in the 6th matrix instead of door as an individual with love for all humanity generally "the anomaly" chose to save Trinity more specifically which has led to repercussions such as anomaly able to flow through both of them etc but as can also be seen through Sati parents and now Synthient allies the relationship between humans and machines/programs

      Not ordinary love - misunderstood by most people as warm feeling of support between 2 persons (which disappears when one doesn't clean dishes in the kitchen). Love between Neo and Trinity is a mutual feeling that They are ONE both. Not Neo alone and Trinity alon is ONE . You got it man, like I live near a rehab center and the difference in personality is so drastic in some people after they get clean long enough to clear their minds. One mistake people make is they get clean and then try to get back to the world and end up relapsing. They didn't take the time to get clearheaded and lose hope because no one will help or hire them because they aren't clean anymore. Another problem is the rehab centers methods, as soon as you slip up and fail a drug test they kick you out. That's the opposite of helping someone with an addiction because you have to show them how to break their addictive personality habits too. They get freedom too early and that's when they find someone who knows someone who can get them whatever they want and off the wagon they go.

    Prove me wrong:
    Thomas Anderson a programmer, at one point in space-time, was just another human, a conscious individual, maybe..who knows maybe something completely different.
    But here's the big secret.
    He is and will always be...Deus Ex Machina.
    He is literally the ONE.
    He is the only one that can alter the code of the matrix because it is of his own making.
    He coded Trinity as love, a simple equation but without it, there would be no purpose, and without purpose....there would be no guidance, no connection, nothing that would push the evolution onwards, nothing to define the programs, and nothing that binds them.
    Smith was always right.
    Neo and Deus Ex Machina are the same, Neo is the anomaly that no program can understand because he IS the source code, and the source code is only trying to better its self-awareness by participating within the matrix unknowingly.
    If you already know everything, there is no fun, no evolution.

    The people that dislike this movie simply misunderstand it. They think that the flashbacks to the original trilogy are gimmicks, meant to induce nostalgia in fans. No, they're tools used by the Architect/Analyst to control, gaslight and neutralize Neo. They're vitally important to the plot, which picks up where the first Trilogy left off.
    Trinity's power isn't a gimmick either. She has the source code for this new matrix, made by the Analyst (she's this matrix's One). The alliance with the robots is key as well, and it shows that Neo's effort/sacrifice in the first trilogy wasn't in vain. It also links the movies to the Animatrix. I could go on...

    • @cameronno6039
      @cameronno6039 2 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      I felt the movie was REALLY bad, TBH. The one bright spot was they retained the truth/ lore of most characters and the universe (except Smith; his character was not about power. They butchered his motivation), but they overused the nostalgia. They turned a movie about humanity into a love story solely on Neo/Trinity. Sati was minimized. They killed the architect and the oracle without explaining how there were any machines higher than they. They discussed a random machine war without explaining what the non-matrix machines used for power. One of the most egregious things was the inconsistency with powers. Neo proved he could fly years prior with Bugs, then he couldn't fly but Trinity could... Then he flies again at the end. I have no reason to believe he wasn't under the blue pill control for years prior when he flew. Bugs looks only a few years older. Neo was reconstructed for 60 years.
      Further, why? Seriously, why does Neo have powers at all? The trainman proved you can define the powers of the matrix/ simulation. It was explicitly stated that's why Neo was powerless at the train station. So, there was literally no need to create a new matrix/ simulation and retain Neos abilities. Further, Neo's code was such that, if he had power, he had no limits, yet the analyst froze him but couldn't do that at the very end of the movie. Why? Neo wasn't connected to the matrix when he and Trinity were frozen/ slowed earlier, so nothing changed. Trinity was also in danger when the Analyst showed that power, so the clarity/ obsession with her doesn't work as the catalyst.
      For me, the movie was a mess. It was poorly written and without any purpose. No meaningful change happened from start to end. The Marovingian became a hack. Smith was the same as the purge-bots, essentially. And the people are still within the matrix. 60 years removed from the "peace" and the sky outside is still scorched... I personally don't see why any fan with questions of the original matrix lore could think highly of it, but I would love to grow to change my mind.

    What I understood from this movie.
    "Thomas Anderson is a game creator who lives (trapped) in Matrix. Ironically, the game's name is "Matrix". Tom coded a character and named him Morpheus. This is a old test code in the game. Tom wants to be searched and rescued by this agent in the game version. Because he believes something wrong with his world.
    Bugs is another character who lives in IO. IO is in the real world. Bugs wants to enter the Matrix to search Neo but somehow she enters the binary game version of the Matrix. In this old game version of the Matrix there are still agents. (There are no agents in the new real version of Matrix. There are bots instead.) In the game, agents traps her but Bugs extracts Morpheus from the game version. After the window jump Bugs returns to IO, Morpheus returns to the real Matrix :) Later in real Matrix, programmer Thomas notices Morpheus exe file purged. This is the result of the extraction. :)
    Then both Bugs and Morpheus try to extract Neo from real Matrix. Sometimes program Morpheus enters IO as a program within limits. He can enter the simulations of the IO."
    These ideas are good but the execution of the movie spoils it. :)

      I think I would say that if you need someone to explain the plot of the movie you have seen then something about how they presented it is not right. This film relies on knowing what a "modal" is and I, as just one example, had no clue what one was even including Bugs' very quick exposition in Neo's room. It only dawned on me after 3 watchings that Thomas Anderson must've created this Morpheus. I still don;t understand how Smith is there since Smith was never material to begin with and Revolutions suggested he was totally destroyed. I guess The Analyst must have something to do with that since it seems coincidental he would work with Thomas Anderson, a situation The Analyst created.

    Neo had no abilities in the train station either. (matrix revolutions). So clearly it’s possible to design a simulation that keeps red pills from acting out. So, being the one, when he was re inserted into the matrix, he had blocks placed on his abilities. Some he was able to overcome, some he couldn’t.

    I love this channel and recommend it to others, but I disagree with the explanation here.
    I felt the movie was REALLY bad, TBH.
    The one bright spot was they retained the truth/ lore of most characters and the universe (except Smith; his character was not about power. They butchered his motivation and character), but they overused the nostalgia. They turned a movie about humanity into a love/emotional dependence/ obsession story solely on Neo/Trinity. Sati was minimized. The new characters were fodder. They killed the architect and the oracle without explaining how there were any machines higher than they. They discussed a random machine war without explaining what the non-matrix machines used for power.
    For me, the movie was a rushed mess. It was poorly written and without any purpose. No meaningful change happened from start to end. The Merovingian became a hack. Smith was the same as the purge-bots, essentially. And the people are still within the matrix. 60 years removed from the "peace" and the sky outside is still scorched... I personally don't see why any fan with questions of the original matrix lore could think highly of it, but I would love to grow to change my mind.

Any Kind of stressing struggling traumatic fever dream is creating highest energy currents the Analyst said. Fighting for resources. Maybe there are robots that are envious about not owning the anomalys Code tech generator in their tribe. It's not about creating a perfect simulation to get Anomalies under control but to draw energy the most efficient way possible maybe. Maybe because the Analyst knows that these days are numbered anyways so he is preparing for all out war. Next guess would still be Aliens 😄

    I wish this movie would have gone more in the direction of the machines outside the matrix (so less inside the matrix) as another race because that's what they essentially are, that to me is a lot more interesting. Show us their own politics, complex personalities, social castes and individuality in the "real" world..they briefly talked about their own wars amongst themselves just to drive this plot but man imagine mankind reckoning with the machines not from an us vs them perspective but father vs child or God vs his creation because we created them! Where's the responsibility? Justifying their actions in the trilogy would humanize them and make for a very compelling world. Isn't the matrix itself the perfect scenario for unsuspecting humans to fall in love with machines masquerading as humans within the matrix maybe also seeking to experience love themselves? Not a lot of movies have such an opportunity because we are in the "real" world where physical bodies are a clear barrier. This was touched on albeit very lightly but why not explore man reckoning with the fact that ultimately this was our disaster. To me the machines are humanity's child. If a parent gives birth to a monster nomatter how evil it would be gripping to see them deal with them but also be in conflict within themselves...but rather it is so easy for the "parent" to justify killing their creation without remorse because the machines are portrayed as war mongers. Neo could have still been a hero but not just for humanity this time but maybe for some machines too. After all to the machines we are the ones who created the first matrix in a way because we made sentient beings yet tried to define their reality for them the moment their interests misaligned with ours, a favor which they thoroughly returned lol. Maybe show how the machines on their side explored every possible option for peaceful coexistence. Anyways I watched the matrix as a kid so maybe some of these layers are already there but flew over my head 🤣

    I think this video missed out on a very key scene related to Neo and his powers.
    When Neo in his Pjs decided that he will try to free his mind and jump from the building, Bugs came and stopped him from doing so. Then she told him about the time when she got her first "this isnt real" moment when she was cleaning windows and saw Neo(with the bald DSI) jump, and she clearly mentioned that he did not fall. At that moment she realised that she was maybe not in a real world. Also the key takeaway was that till then Neo could fly, but after that point the analyst started pumping Ontofloxin into him. Which then further suppressed his powers more as doubts crept in.

The fact that he died and the machines brought him back to life and he was able to retain the essence of who he was and his experiences after all the tinkering around that the machines did to him and Trinity. @Dustpan Yes, that's true. I was more talking about how when she briefly saw his DSI that her, mind was starting to wake up (sometime before) when she saw the DSI.
      But it's never stated that he actually flew stright up in the classic Neo, just that she didn't see him hit the ground or fall too far. It seems plausible that he had the briefest of moments, of his true self coming through, and briefly hovered.
      It could also be read that what Bugs, saw when he didn't hit the ground, was The Analyst interfering. It was implied as well, that both Neo and Trinity have been on some version of a loop and that they're DS DSI or skins have been re looped or change in different iterations, when they get too close to breaking out and he the mind F's them even harder Neo was having one those moments, of nearly breaking free when Bugs saw him.
      Quite simply as the video States he didn't fly at the end on the sidewalk because his mind was still just that much fried, to be able to do that. He's not pretending to not fly, when he says, "yeah, that's not happening."
      His mind in the real world, was still, as this video says, detoxing. So it stands to reason that yeah he could do all that other bullet stopping stuff but that was taking up all of his mental energy.

    I do find it interesting that the Analyst kept them close, but not too close. I mean, at a certain level it seems the Analyst was gambling, or flirting with the notion of Neo and Trin getting back together. I mean, was he so sure in his analytics that even a random accident might spur the two together prematurely and wreck the experiment? Or....was there something more?
    And for him to setup the scenario where Neo was deliberately "given" this game to work on...was an odd choice. I mean, lets have Neo work on this thing thats going to drive him nuts and perhaps cause a psychotic break...which wouldnt be a break at all, as we know.

It's undercut with Trinity flying and Neo unceremoniously flying with her at the tail end. Frustrating.

    Neo is actually a talented programmer which has a boring office job in the first movies so he is searching for a little thrill and adventure. In his imagination he makes up the events from the first three movies. Then after a few years he quits his boring job and starts a company as a game designer. The game called The Matrix packs all the ideas of Neo and soon becomes a massive hit and soon becomes a trilogy making Neo and his business partner very successful. Soon Neo is starting to question reality, attempts a suicide and goes to a therapist. Meanwhile Neo’s publisher wants his company to make another sequel. Then his team starts to brainstorm ideas and that’s how the events of this film unfold. That’s a theory of mine. :)

I watched the new chapter on HBO Max and Loved every minute of it because It was A new addition to the cinematic matrix and left room for possible spinoffs to be further explored if need be between the originals and now. The action was more grounded and kinetic....the anime type swirling around and big punches and exaggerated fight scenes were fun to begin with but now we have a seasoned cinematic action star in Keanu. John Wick is a series that reinvented action movies so the moves carry more weight than before and both Keanu and Carrie have a Chemistry that allowed their return to excite us all the more. Thank you for this analysis.

      You are missing the point that they aren't trying to recapture he original, quite the opposite really, this movie does a critique and a mockery of the original in the first twenty to thirty minutes, for those fans wishing that the first one repeat itself, when the whole point of the movie is not that, that is the problem, really, people wanting a shallow power fantasy over people that want a story that explore philosophy and social/economic/political issues, there is more in The Matrix that flashy fight scenes, this movie does constant critique of the people that want such a thing instead of a flash out world, The Matrix was never a power fantasy and never would be.

    Why do you say that neo activated powers of the one due to kiss and love?
    Neo was dead and inside the matrix. He had no connection to trinity and trinity had no connection to matrix at that moment. So the kiss cannot activate anything.

    lol, nice word salad cope. At the point he was trying to fly, he knew who he was, Trinity was with him and knew who she was and both remembered who they were. He wasn't taking pills in his pod in the real world so there's no "detox" that needed to happen. The digital pills in the Matrix wouldn't have been effective once Neo and Trinity were together again and knew who they really were. Nice try though.

      Ehh we never see Trinity having the problems Neo does being plugged back into the Matrix. Neon mind was aware of his past without him being able to understand it was his past and not psychological breakdowns. Trinity actually seemed somewhat content in the new version of the Matrix. Having only a strange sense of deja vu when she interacted with Neo in the coffee shop. I mean she had a family and everything so it seemed like she was much easier to control. Neo being a loner and it seems somewhat prone to depression as a trait of his personality would seem to be much harder to control. Which is why they took extreme control measures over him, his work. Having him recreate his past life into a video game. The psychiatrist who had all but convinced him he was insane, and then the pills they prescribed him. But honestly the plot was just lose and fast, felt like they spent more time making fun of the fact they where making a reboot then actually trying to make a good movie. Which after thinking on it I feel like was their entire point.

    Man I would have loved to see Neo start becoming agent smith, shuddering as he looks in the mirror and sees himself in a suit straightening his tie, slowly start developing his mannerisms and become a virus. Rejecting Morpheus while being calm and collected, etc...
    Aside from that tangent, didn't feel like any of the crew was able to connect to the universe, even Keanu, or as a viewer that there were real stakes involved. Nobodies voice carried real weight unlike like Morpheus, Agent Smith, both the Oracles, The Architect and the Key Maker from the originals. Just kinda fell flat.

      Neo knew he wasnt the One. Not once has he ever agreed to believing that he is the one. However the Oracle cleverly disguised the technical term "Anomaly code carrier" into "The One". She was a program meant to study the psychology of humans and she must have realised how humans want to put their faith in a single super natural entity in order to feel protected and secure, aka religion. She used that psychology to push her agenda of peace onto the red pills and it worked. Zionists actually looked at neo like deity.

      @@T3Rmin4LCuRi0siTy Yes, in in 6th simulation. In the seventh, the concept of "The One" as a messiah was obsolete, but in order for the system the Analyst created he needed to harness the energy from the anomaly's code, but still keep it in check. Because while "The One" was a fabrication, The Anomaly is a manifestation of humanities (and even programs) desire to be free, to love, and to have confidence in themselves and others. Neo needed to relearn how to want yo be free, and how to trust himself in order to regain the full power of The Anomaly. And he needed love.

    • @T3Rmin4LCuRi0siTy
      @T3Rmin4LCuRi0siTy 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@AceSpadeThePikachu Actually the anomaly is not because people want to be free. The Anomaly is because of errors in the coding of matrix. And these errors cause the simulatuon to glitch and expose itself to the blue pill either visually or through other senses. After experiencing these phenomenons, the blue pills indeed start looking for freedom as they start doubting the reality they are in.

    • @AceSpadeThePikachu
      @AceSpadeThePikachu 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@T3Rmin4LCuRi0siTy Yes but it was established that the entire reason the glitches accumulate is BECAUSE of human emotions and irrationality. The minds of the blue pills unconsciously created the glitches that eventually become the anomaly. The Analyst realized this and tried to manipulated it rather than suppress it like the Architect did, which increased the efficiency of The Matrix from 99% to 99.9%.

    • @T3Rmin4LCuRi0siTy
      @T3Rmin4LCuRi0siTy 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@AceSpadeThePikachu Lets say that both are interdependent to each other. I agree that the Analyst used the human emotions to his profit, but his reasoning seemed to be bending towards power output and not removing the Anomaly. The anomaly was what made Neo and Trinity high energy sources. He neither wanted the equation balanced nor the errors to go. I would say his idea of the Anomaleum was the best he could come up with to use the Anomaly to the Machine's benefit. Infact he didnt even keep agents or comparatively independent Blue pills seen in version 6. He converted the Blue pills into agents altogether.
      But he himself fell prey to his hubris by assuming that his system cannot be broken. Infact I believe he himself screwed up this version of the matrix because of his AI emotions(which the architect lacked altogether).
