I have a RK ROYAL KLUDGE M75 and it is the nicest keyboard I've ever typed on. The Pale Green Switches are insane but unfortunately RK doesn't sell their switches separately.
Very nice video, professional feeling and solid review but could I ask how is it for gaming both wired and wireless connection? I'm really tempted to buy this keyboard over the keychron k2 pro, if you've tested the k2 pro which would you recommend?
Awesome review - I put this keyboard in my cart before I saw your review and I must say the color scheme is exactly what I've been looking for. I bought the JLAB keyboard from Best Buy which matches my macbook but once again....that color scheme is exactly what I've been looking for...especially since I'm Georgia Bulldogs and Falcons fan as well. So I think I'm going to pull the trigger and try it out! #GoDawgs
Ok the sound was good! Goes to show what multiple layers of foam do, too often even so called brand kbs have just a single layer of case foam (and plate foam) and that's it. I agree the design is little out there, needs a clean white top, lols. RK does not make ISO layout boards I think?
Yeah I'd say so, especially for this price point. Some of the budget Razer, SteelSeries, and Redragon keyboards are comparable (and might have 1-2 more gaming specific features). If you wanted to spend around $100-150, there are definitely better options with specific gaming features (the NuPhy "HE" keyboards, maybe some SteelSeries, the more expensive Wooting Keyboards)
@@KeebNews unfortunately i cant get this exact model in my country. seems like the only M model for me is M75, along with the R series, the H series, the RKG68 and the basic Royal Kludge keyboards. can you please tell me what do you suggest?
Not all RK keyboards are hotswappable for sure. One of the first mechanical keyboards I bought was the RK987 in 2021... not hotswap to my disappointment today
I never understand the hesitation of people in the hobby to recommend RK boards. Someone will say "hey I need a keyboard I can throw in a case and take with me to the library" , or "I want a mechanical keyboard to to take to my dorm and my max budget is $90" and mechanical keyboard people will recommend an $600 board that only available through group buy and I'm just like ?????? I recommend RK always as a cheap grab and go mechanical keyboard option. They're a little more consistent than epomaker, a little better built monsgeek and easily available through major dealers.
I honestly think for that usecase, a used hhkb pro 2 could be had for 120 ish usd. It'll be lighter, smaller and require less modding. Main part is just getting used to the layout.
@@jy-yr4hh lol what? I was just talking about RK boards in general not the specific board in the video for the use case I presented. If I was going to recommend a board to carry around in public o recommend a used royal kludge 60+ for like $35 and a $12 hard case. That's literally what I carry around when I'm not carrying around a my newer epomaker th40 with my phone. I'm not carrying a $120 keyboard in public where anything can happen lol what's the point of that?
@@strayiggytv interesting on the monsgeek front. Have you had any experience with the Monsgeek M1 range? Im guessing they're a slightly more premium range than the RK equivalents.
Been waiting for a review on this keyboard, this might be the review I’ve been waiting for, thanks!👍🏻
Glad it was helpful!
If they made media keys the same style as they did with knobs it would be elite
The cream switches sound really good
Not terrible, right?
My RK S98 keyboard have the Linear switch (creamy) and it’s just so relaxing when typing. I highly recommend

Oh, and it is amusing that they included a guitar pick ( = pry tool) for opening the case for modding.
good review :)
yo thanks!
Media control keys are different so if you hit them accidentally - you can tell immediately
Dude, You really need B-rolls man... For your videos. They would easily compliment your voice and increase retention.
Prolly, but I'm lazy.
