- Canal fishing with live bait is my favorite new way to fish the canals! The excitement and joy of not knowing what could be on the other end of the line makes it awesome!
Using live bluegill under a bobber is the best way to do it! We caught an amazing amount of fish using this method! We probably could have landed a few more if the fish took the bait better.
Summertime it is hot man this goes to show these fish are still biting! DO not be afraid of the heat! Fishing is on here in AZ!

I'm a truck driver (for the past 10 years) who spent 37 years at sea as a commercial fisherman. I make it through the Yuma / Phoenix region infrequently at best, and I'll tell you what, driving by all of those canals and not being able to stop for a minute and at least look, has bothered me to no end.
I really enjoy watching and exploring the canals vicariously through your channel!

all urban ponds have been stocked with trout! you can find em all online by looking at the stocking schedule. this canal is actually drained now
