It's an amazing video I have never watched this type of CT video before this and it's a precise, clear, and simple explanation I ask you sir upload more videos regarding CT/PT to protect relay connection videos.
Amezing video I have never watch this type of CT video before this and it's a very specific, clear and simple explanation I request you sir upload more videos regarding CT/PT to protection relay connection videos.
Thank u sir..your explaination very clear and easy to understand...done subscribe your Channel, hope u will sharing the another video about VCB Trouble shooting❤
Nice, Thanks for the video. As we short the unused core in CT ,now in case of dual CT ratio as 1S1,1S2 and 1S3 are also available 1. If we use only one core of this say 1S1 and 1S2 what about 1S3 what and how to short ?? 2. What if I'm not using 2S1,2S2 and 2S3 also should I short 2S1,2S2 and 2S3 combinedly as we do in single ratio CT ? Kindly REPLY
At the end of time 10:19min. You have concluded that if we want to take 800A/1A ratio, we will take 1S1 and 1S3 sides, similarly for 400A/1A ratio we will take 1S1 and 1S2 sides. But we know that N1/N2=V1/V2=I2/I1. As from the above eqn. Current is inversely related to no of coil turns. That is more the no of coil turns, lesser will the current indused in the coil. Which is contradictory.
Dear viewer, Lets take an example Say, Primary Turn N1= 1, and Secondary turns between S1 and S3 is 800, then N2 = 800, between S1 and S2 is 400, here N2 = 400. NOW, for S1-S3, N1/N2 = 1/800 = I2/I1, for S1-S2, N1/N2 = 1/400 =I2/I1. Thank You🙏
Good explained sir 👏

Dear viewer,
Lets take an example
Say, Primary Turn N1= 1,
and Secondary turns
between S1 and S3 is 800,
then N2 = 800,
between S1 and S2 is 400,
here N2 = 400.
NOW, for S1-S3,
N1/N2 = 1/800 = I2/I1,
for S1-S2,
N1/N2 = 1/400 =I2/I1.
Thank You🙏
