- Hey Guys, This is Akhil Nema and you are Watching our TH-cam channel Advanced Basics by Akhil.
In this Lecture of series Civil Engineering interview Questions, I am going to explain one of the most important topic of civil Engineering from the interview loint of view as well as Govt. Exam point of view that is Concrete in Tension and the Difference between Split Tensile Strength and Flexural Strength of Concrete, ........I hope you will enjoy the video.

Thanks
Video informative h pr sound thoda badhayein👍
Nice very nice
This question is asked in my viva for structural laboratory
You earned one sub
What is the passing criteria for 7 & 28 day flexral strength...???
👌🏽👌🏽
Thanks mishra ji
Good sir.
Thank you very much
Sir What is the fck which should obtain for nominal mix concrete cube test results as per is code 456
Why flexural strength is more important and accurate than the split tensile strength
Sir Abrassion testing of paver block PE video bnaaiye plz
wht is the M.R. VALUE of split tensile strength?
Sir ye btaiye ki basic difference Kya hota h.... Split aur flexural me
🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Thanks & stay connected
Is the Direct Tensile Strength and rupture strength formulas are same??
Actually they both are representing the same Strength for Concrete that is Tensile Strength but their values are not same, Rupture Strength > Direct Tensile Strength.
What is the formula of relation between flexural strength and split tensile strength
Parul Sharma........ splitting tensile strength =0.66Fcr.......Fcr is flexural strength of concrete
Could you tel me how those formulas are getting in flexural strength test ...
You can easily derive these expressions from Bending Equation, otherwise you can refer the book CONCRETE - Microstructure, properties and Materials by P. Kumar Mehta & Paulo J.M. Monteiro.
@@AN_Akhilnema can u please give me how to derive it by bending equation please :T=2p/pi D r
@@AN_Akhilnema please help
Tensile means concrete ko upward khicha jayega AAP picture mai dikha rahe he compression kiya ja raha he . Esa hota he kya ?? Gazab ka experiment
This is a indirect method of strength estimation ...here we find tensile strength along later direction using loading in longitudinal direction
Sir where mention 5-6 layer And 25 blows
You can refer no. of reference books where you will find this type of provision..Thanks
SIR There is many Different testing standard for tensile and making specimens every standard different layer and blows temperature requirements
formula for spilt tensile strength= 0.462 root fck??????????
Ok, thank you very much
If we do all three test on M30 grade of concrete ,then what is increasing order of strength in terms of its magnitude ,
is it strength(direct test)>strength(flexural)>strength(splitting tension) ? Or other order please tell me about it.
bro , why values are different beause faliure is ibeause of tension for all of them
Sir just clarify last formula (Fck)Plz
0.7 underroot Fck, it is from IS:456:2000 Code.
Sir please make video on the concept of mix design... otherwise great job ❤️
Thanks Arpit, I will definitely make on mix design concept.
Flexural test mein aapne rollers ki to baat hi nhi ki...!
