thanks for the video, please what version of yeti did you use for this video
Thanks for the tutorial, I do have a question (slightly off topic from eyebrows) is it possible to attach multiple grooms to one mesh? As an example, setting up a groom to be eyebrows, another for peach fuzz, another for eyelashes, and another for a mustache. Is that possible? Or do I have to create a mesh node for each.
Love it!Thanks for your tutorial bro :D
Thank you
Hi yes can I ask? why I cant see yeti option to my tool bar im also using maya 2018
Thank you vere mach .
Can you please make Feather creation tutorial in Yeti?
thanks for this video! is so hard to find yeti tutorials
Thanks!
really useful! thanks! i ve subscribed)
I repeat the very same nodes, but my "radius of influence" is not working at all.
The same goes to using texture masking to limit where the hair should grow. The only workflow that's working fine is using "conversion node" to create a single strand of hair for each guide.
This issue occurs with someone else?
hey, great video, unfortunately, multiplying parameters values by attributes isn't working for me ? I know this video is 6 years old but I'd appreciate some help! Yeti documentation is really poor about this, tnaks, a fellow french artist
i dont see "mode" or "value" options under my Attribute Paint menu .. can anybody help me? :\
Yeti isn't showing the current used of brush on the left side bar, it always makes me confuse
Ah ! Yes, me too :-)
can yeti render with redshift?
Yes it can
This is a very nice tutorial.
The only thing im not understanding, is why in the moment i add a Convert0 layer in the yeti editor, when i try to render, result impossible and appears in red
" invalid number of points on curve 193 ( found 3, expected 4 or 5). " If i try to delete some curves, appears the same message, but with a curve number different.
Before adding the Convert0 layer i can render with no problem. Any advice or tip to fix this? Thanks
Thank you!
Looks like this problem is coming from Arnold and Maya. But you can try to resample your curves. First in the groom attribute editor look for display and tick the display strand segments, so you can visually see the number of points along your curves, then try to resample your curves by increasing or decreasing the strand segment length and click the resample button.
Good luck.
Can't Resample.. appears the same message. Tried also to build a new scene, and do from 0, but when i add this convert0 layer, i have this issue.
I posted also on yeti forum, but noone know nothing about it..
if u wanna take a look what is happening.. files.fm/u/m5r8z3mu
would be awesome
Ok I checked your scene file, and the problem was that some of your curves had no length. So to fix the problem, I double clicked the length attribute in the attribute list to activate the brush, I set the mode to Increase and before using the brush I set the Strand segment length to 0.010. Also set the brush strength at a very low value and use the fill bucket to increase the length a few times. All the best
Tried! Gone! Thanks for the help!
Ur the best, appreciated :)
