3 months until I ski, I’ve begun weight and cardio this will round things off nicely. I wait all year to get on skis, do not want my trip ruined because of poor cardio or muscle strength. Great work out.
I just came back from my ski trip and im so glad I did this work out for 2 weeks prior without the weekends, because it helped so much with the muscle pain you get after the first day of skiing, I practically didnt have any pain and i only did it once every day, without repeating the circuit.
Thank you. Nice warm up, and good work out session. The best movements are the same in many sports. But you can tune them a bit, depending what your sport is. Regularity anf Consistency are the key. Aerobic and unaerobic rehearsals. To get results. I can confirm it, with 60 years continous training without major breaks. The others can see the results too.
So glad I found this. Best all round ski workout I've come across for sure. No idea how you repeat that circuit though! Maybe after a few more sessions I could do a second round.
Thank you so so much for this! I haven't skied for years and I have 8 weeks to prepare for a ski holiday with my siblings. With your programme I won't be the laughing stock of the mountain!
I've been teaching skiing for 25 years, this is fantastic training for the winter. I will be recommending you to everyone I know. Thanks, gonna be ready for this winter!!!
Thank you so much for this. Been battling the flu for the past two weeks and I’m using this to get ready for my ski trip in a few weeks. Very thorough!
Just done it this afternoon. I followed it straight after and fairly relaxed max squat and plyo session. 20 bike warm up. Nice core sets. Lots of single leg stuff which I like. Could be fun to do just this and loop 2 or three times.
Been doing this great video work out in prep for a February ski trip and I can feel the difference in the progression so looking forward to how it will translate on the snow. One thing during the skiers lunge I feel tight in my hamstrings any stretching suggestions for skiing?
Not every day that you pop on to YT to find a mate of yours doing a video. Well, at least not if you’re 51 and none of your mates are ‘influencers’….Neil doing a ski fit video is the signal for many of us that the winter season is just round the corner.
I am writing out these brilliant exercices with the aim to plug them into my Whoop Strength Trainer. I am having a hard time coming up with names for the exercises. Anyone any suggestions where I can find the names?
is your video a whole workout or do i have to do these exercises twice or something? Also, does it make sense to start doing this workout 7 weeks before skiing?
Hey, of course it does make sense to start 7 weeks before skiing. You can do it in one go or split it up by following the chapters included. For full details, you can head out to @UphillAthlete uphillathlete.com/
There's only one way to get fit for skiing, and that's by skiing. And there's only one way to spell programme, if you're addressing a British or French audience.
9.2K views and only 303 likes? c'mon ppl! This is top quality training content for free. Nice work Atomic & Uphill! 🙏

This is a fantastic ski prep video. No commercials. High quality instruction… really appreciate it. thank you!
4th workout in only 5 weeks till I go skiiig. Feeling stronger already I’ll report how my legs feel after a week skiing!
Grateful that this is a free resource. Very high quality content.
One of the best instructional videos of any kind that I’ve ever seen. Thank you so much. This is helping me a lot.

I checked a gazillion of these 'pre-ski' workouts on youtube, and this one is, hands down, the best.

Thank you very much, most valuable ski workout on YT!

Many many thanks ✌️
BC Buddy turned me on to this. Great Stuff. Thanks Neil.

Thank you for sharing ... I love ski !!
I am going to be ready this year!!!
good workout thanks!!
Outstanding
First time today. Excellent, but repeat twice?! Oh boy.
Just the circuit part. Haven’t tried yet 😅
Amazing video!
What do you recommend for a 73 year old ski instructor, one knee replaced.

same here with tight hamstrings!
Dziękuję! 🙂
Awesome. Should i add weights to the squats or lunges ?
Fantastic workout. I can't click the repeat though, is it supposed to be repeated from the strength or from the circuit?
from the ciurcuit and the balance at the end :)
Did the workout along with you. At the end you say to repeat again. Should we go thru this work out 2 to 3 each workout or two to three times a week?
awesome Thanks
How frequently should this be done? Do I need to worry about recovery?
Great!

Mükemmel hareketler..
Love when he says "shake them off"....
Ive left my prep late this year, i go skiing in two weeks. I just did this and was so impressed. If i do it every day for two weeks will it be enough?
better than 0 weeks!
It will be a lot better than doing nothing!
did it help ?
Just curious, is the entire workout written up somewhere?
I don't know where to find it either so I ended up writing down the exercises on a foolscap page.

Must be a big boost to do this with weights? Why is this weight free?
It's not easy to follow the video if you instruct to plank for one minute under tension, then move to the next exercise after 30 seconds.
Great workout but thank god I do Pilates
I wanted to say, there is huge overlap between this and pilates!
The progression of the session is messed up. Mobility and floor exercises (the one you call "strenght") should be at the beginning
