Tear apart leaking Badger (Insinkerator) garbage disposal

It was dripping and I found that it was corroded. It lasted 12 years, though, which Google says is the average lifespan. Not much to a basic garbage disposal. I upgraded to a "returned" premium 3/4hp Insinkerator Brand with all the bells and whistles via Amazon. So far so good. Pretty quiet, too.
