Hello there ! Same here. As a beginner (3 months) i Love this piano. Love the sound, the design and the weighted keys. Actually, I can only play "clubbed to death - Rob Dougan" and "lux aeterna - Clint Mansell" (Requiem for a dream) but wow, It has nothing to do with the "squeak squeak" of my old first price synth 😂 it makes me feel like a prodigy, I'll try not to let it go to my head lol.

Bought this and connected it through an a old Rotel amp and 2 Ramsa monitor speakers. ( all at least 35 years old. ) The sound really came to life. The sound to me is much better than the same priced Yamaha models. I have 4 keyboards ( top of the range Technics - also very old ) so do not need any other sounds except the piano sounds. Now retired I am Learning piano again after 30 year layoff. Find this more than meets my needs and now sounds great. Love your videos. Honest with no bias. keep it up.

Hi Jeremy, I have had two 61 key unweighted Casio boards, along with an old 61 key unweighted Yamaha. The 88 key weighted boards are tempting, but seem to have much more potential for problems (more moving parts) and some comments or reviews suggest this is true. So I’m thinking maybe an unweighted 88 key board might be less likely to have issues with keys (dead keys, noisy keys, etc). The Korg B2N seems like a good candidate, however so far I haven’t seen any demos or reviews of it (the B2N being the B2 but without hammer action). Is the B2N the unicorn it would appear to be? Thank you! :)

Still sounds very Korg-y. There is a certain resonance with Korg piano patches that somehow does not sound well with classical pieces. They do very well with Jazz though. But it's a very signature Korg piano sound that sounds as if there is an electric piano overlaid on an acoustic. For digital pianos, I still rank Roland in the lead, followed by Yamaha and then Casio with their latest collaboration with Bechstein.

Just bought mine. Wired through sound mixer, Amp and 2 monitors. Although how sound is perceived is so personal to each of us, I have transformed how the B2 sounds at least to me , making it more fuller, richer and can add reverb and use graphic equaliser to tailor the sound to personal taste. My musical friends now say how great the piano sounds are. I think the sound engine is far better than the keyboard speakers can reproduce. Which I bellieve Mr. J See would / has agreed with . Anyhow enjoy the B2 and just keep playing .

Great review, good info. I’m really down to either the B2 or Yamaha P45. After seeing today’s video on the Yamaha LCD screen issues, I’m extremely wary of Yamaha’s customer service, especially since in my little corner of Kansas, the nearest real music store is an hour away in Joplin, two hours to Wichita or Tulsa, or 3 hours to Kansas City. So I’m really limited to Mail order, the support and quality has to be on point. So right now I’m like 90% in the B2 camp, unless I see an offering from Roland that I like. The GO Piano is a good value, but lack of true weighted keys is a turn off, and the FP30x is above my budget. I’ll post up what I buy.

Hi Jeremy, i'm looking for a good portable digital piano that is easy to move arround with it, i have dgx660 at home but there's no way i could take that with me to another place because it's super heavy, do you think this korg is a good choice? Budget isn't my problem tho

I have the same question as many people, is this digital piano with weighted keys or not, because I see that there is a general doubt and they show the b2 and the b2n as the same model and clearly they are not. Does the b2n have hammer action weighted keys or not? Be precise in your answers

When not playing any notes I have a low level hissing noise from both speakers, anybody else? If I turn the volume up the loudness of the hissing (thankfully) doesn't increase, which is something! But the fact that it is there at all is annoying to me, i'd expect total silence when not playing a note.

Thanks a lot for your review! I am considering between Roland FP-10 and Korg B2, do you have any recommendation between them? I used to play piano when I was younger (for about 8 years) and just trying to practice again at home. If you have any other recommendation within that price range, it will be much appreciated! :)
