  • Constellar Tellarknights. They aren't Constellarknight Knights because that would imply the constellar are "Stellarknights"

    A board that the Constellar/Tellarknight deck could make that plays around Dark Ruler is a Scythe lock variant. The combos only take 1-2 cards, and you can use the materials that are for Apollusa for Dagda. Since Lyra searches for Skybridge, when they activate Dark Ruler, you chain to it which allows Ptolemaeus to go into Diamond/Pleiades. This allows Altea to activate its effect on a new chain to pop Scythe.

    Ya maybe better play some spelltrap interruption / floodgates as well, as they still die to DRNM anyway.

    The best tellar deck is definitely the scythe lock variant that either summons tornado dragon plus dagda if you brick, or if you don’t brick you can pop on your opponent’s turn by summoning a monster, allowing the gy effect of the new tellarknight to summon itself back and then pop scythe. Another idea for the deck is to play dimension shifter, or atleast dimensional fissure since the only gy stuff you go is summoning names from gy, so fissure can be activated after putting a few in grave, and the idea behind shifter is the “hurts you a little to hurt your opponent a lot more”. Also, if I was going to play some techs in this, definitely play chaos hunter and the anti-banish floodgate for the new format. Pleiades is decent in the upcoming format to bounce fenrir in BP before your opponent can attack with it. The fact that this deck can also main rivalry and gozen without any damage to your main plays is also quite useful in a format where all the kashtiras are different attributes, and rivalry can lock kashtira into non-psychics at the right time, which is hard for a monster-reliant deck to out.

      Also will say I’ve tried out using the constellar continuous spell in a control variant, and it’s honestly not that bad, preventing your light monsters from being negated comes up a lot when you have effects that if they resolve you can disrupt your opponent’s combo.

      @@MSTTV i was refering to the lv 3 and lv4 constellar previously in the video before.
      Though i agree with your point the is in fact mid. A lot of decks can combo and setup negates, but not many and break through interuption and grind afterwards.

    It's not even that you shouldn't ever play traps in the deck, since there is plenty of room for non engine cards. It's moreso that the deck can do way better boards going first now.

    I thought the constellar focus had a bit more versatility in opening. I'm looking at testing one kaus, one pollux and one sombre since they don't lock you into anything particular, though I'm sure kaus will likely be dropped later

    0:12 that list is pure trash but I understand because you came into it with the mentality as if it was satellarknight 2014. In reality, the continuous spell does what all those continuous card does and it’s searchable. The only continuous trap I’d play is fog blade in the side for going first and even that lol
    The second build i cannot speak for but I believe the deck is better pure with just handtraps 🫡🫡🫡 not to mention we still playing ashlam 🫡🫡🫡

    • @MSTTV
      @MSTTV  ปีที่แล้ว

      Those were my impression on the deck like 4 months ago when they were revealed in OCG, i think with a more defined meta moving forward, the handtrap line will change.. and probably try out mathmechs in the deck for more free extenders. But who knows which direction to take it.
      Thats how it be like, willing to try out decks with no reference, make mistakes and evolve and just do better in the next build.

    • @StrawhatDawn
      @StrawhatDawn ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah i build decks the same way but you’re the only TH-camr whose input I watch when building tcg decks. The very first night I built the new tellarknight deck, I of course put a call or the hunted and a fog blade but the continuous spell was so good on its own it had no need. The only problem I am having with the deck is extra deck issue with the ratio. Diamond shuts out tier two decks who use dark and if you can resolve Triverr against the harder hitting meta decks like Kashtira and mathemech, I think the deck is a good route deck. Will post update when I go back to locals: havnt been there since anaconda got banned ;)

    • @StrawhatDawn

      Being able to tribute your Triverr or delteros with nibiru and bouncing said nibiru on your next turn with Triverr is a good feeling 🤫
