I played vs Hoban in day 2 of Philly, He actually played 3 regulus, and I think that's something people should be following, as it works extremely well to play under droll or similar handtraps
this combo can struggle even vs the bad handtraps now, hitting imperm on the synch can be a turn ender, ashing the peacemaker is also potentially turn ender, the entire point of the deck pre banlist was that the weak handtraps were inefficient due to the baronn turbo, and now they will result in hurting the endboard.
Yes, but remember it is a 1 card combo. Even if u end up with noticing on the board you have 4 handtraps and on top of that, just rethink, it is a 1card combo ! If you think about a other 1 card combo deck, the board is much weaker and interrupting its combo is as easy as interrupting the shs combo

It still forces the format into a particular set of hand traps... due to it existing... I mean I can find a way to make cannon solider + Telefon ftk now with the deck...
On the first combo, you cant use Wakaushi to chain block Soulpiercer, it would resolve first placing itself on the scale, meaning the Entrainment wouldnt be able to special summon it
my bigger question now is, what interuptions stop them playing. one of the big reasons for droll was that it stopped the entire deck but also that other interuptions didnt work as well. veiler/imperm just didnt do very much and they ended on these big boards anyways. ash likewise wasnt that great, so if these handtraps work better then it stands to reason that droll is less nescessary and the other handtraps are generally (id argue) more versatile

why would you play ogre tho? you either think SHS is great and play ogre or you think its bad and fragile and dont. deck being weak to ogre is not argument against them unless you acknowledge their strenght

@@Timikator The only difference is that SHS produce raw negates while D/D has more versatile interruptions. With the added engine cards now they have almost even handtraps as well. The advantage D/D has is that people still don't know how to play against it (most just "wait to veiler the link 2") while SHS is more consistent. EDIT: The greatest factor that makes D/D bordeline unplayable still is Bystials.

I don't think Combos are the issue. I found the combos once the list hit. The issue is in a duel it's ridiculously fragile now.
