    Thank you Lithium for actually doing research on the combo lines of this deck rather than channels like yugiohtube or duel evolution that didn't bother and instead just made it look like an old tellar list. You're my favourite yugioh content creator by far ❤

    Ruling correction for the first replay: Ash should've been chain blocked by the special summon from hand, that's what would happen in the tcg
    The reason why edopro is like this is because the default rulings use the ocg hand trigger thing

    Definitely the best take on a more midrange list I have seen so far. Doing decent disruption resistant xyz plays with traps, or any generics to back it up.
    I will say your statement on the heroic is valid, however if you choose to play Gagagaga Magician over the Rank 1, and living fossil instead of any other equip, you make it to where your decklist only has 1 garnet of the heroic (Because drawing living fossil is the same as using isolde in that case), and drawing it wont matter if you established the new rank 4 without using shera, or having an extra level 4 using shera. Not to mention Gagagaga Magician is independently usable without going into isolde, and a dark for altea.

    I cut the generic Traps and threw in the zefra pendulum stuff and the deck full on becomes an insane link/xyz combo deck. Deck just abuses delteros to basically link climb into apollo + watever. Also Threw in a small mathmech engine to get access to savage + superfactorial so your end board is like the zefra Trap apollo savage and superfactorial with diamond

    Looks good. Personally, I think the Cydra Infinity package just isn't worth the space, especially if we can't fit in Zeus, and I think the deck ought to be running Bystials itself. Not only are they powerful hand traps, but they can be bounced back by Triverr, and they can be overlaid into M7 directly, which is very valuable. They also massively improve on the deck's ability to go second.

    This honestly looks exactly what I hoped tellarknight was when I first saw it. It's now a proper pure tellarknight combo deck. Can you do another video on how this new support works with zefra tellarknight?

  • @dante9284
    @dante9284 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    The Duelist Alliance era of decks were all incredibly well designed for future support.
    Deltaros was never a HOPT despite the rest of the archetype being so, and only needing to leave the field to trigger - allowing for free link material
    All the shaddoll fusions had open ended fusion requirements and had no HOPT on their s/t recovery effects - made relevant with Schism, Nadir Servant and Maximus
    Baxia wasn't tied specifically to Yang zings and could bring back any level 4 or lower monster with their effects intact - making it one of the best synchros in Swordsoul
    Nekroz have also been designed as incredibly open ended - Clausolas can search _any_ nekroz spell (not just ritual spells) or nekroz trap - despite there being none yet. The nekroz ritual spells have no HOPT on their grave effects, and can search _any_ nekroz spell from the deck.
    Qli are a little harder to support because of their restrictions and being so normal summon reliant, but I imagine support would involve giving them a tonne of extra normal summons without jumping through hoops to fill up their extra deck pre-pendulum.
    Despite the tsunami of powercreep that was the DUEA era, I must commend Konami on what I hope was the intentionally _'easy to later support'_ philosophy they used in these archetypes. I have high hopes for any future Nekroz support, if they can take a deck as slow as Tellarknights were and turn them in to the very passable combo control we see on display here.
    Thank you for the showcase Lithium!

    I think there’s also potential to go into a more Constellar heavy direction since they have better extenders than Tellarknights thanks to Pollux, Caduceus, and now Lyra. You can then just play at least 1 of Deneb, Unukalhai, and Altair since they can be tutored out with Delteros.

    I personally think that Tellarknights won't play traps anymore, we're at a point where the deck doesn't has to play them anymore in order to be able to play against the opponent.
    With the new support you can pretty easily abuse Delteros and the fact that his float eff isn't once per turn. I've played combos in which I just special delteros and link him off for like 3-4 times and get material for days.
    Like you can overlay the new Rank 4 into Ptolemy M7 and then use Tellarknights Constellar to overlay Delteros on top of it which you can then just link into Isolde or if you have no material just pop itself.
    To that you can add the lvl 1 heroic champion who can make the heroic rank 1 which can special delteros back and a equip like d.d.r so you can special it with Isolde.
    And finally Tellarknights can Scythe lock now by using Durendal (which you can make by using twinkle) to negate an opponents monster effect AND pop Scythe or just using Tornado Dragon in the SP.
    So yeah Tellar is now more of an XYZ spam deck which sets up a few interupts which can also play a few handtraps. The days of Tellarknight control are officially over.

    I've been running Small World with effect veiler as a bridge alongside Sheraton have a tellar + lyra in my opening hand more often. It mostly helps getting access to both Satellarknight Constellar and Skybridge. I know Skybridge can become searchable later down the combo line when doing delteros shenanigans, but searching Skybridge early allows me to pull off Ptolmeaus' turnskip effect heh. Having no stellarnova alpha searcher is sad, but the new ceiling the deck can reach is a worthy enough compromise now.

  • @holydiver4988
    @holydiver4988 ปีที่แล้ว +6

    i hope they reincarnate(?) the rest of the tellarknights so the deck can get more support
    ideally a stellarnova searcher or a retrained one altogether
    some new constellars would also be pretty cool since the new support is leaning more towards satellar

    • @jeffsanders5444
      @jeffsanders5444 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      all 4 of the new cards are Constellar. Constellar is just a trash archetype and if you say i like playing Constellar over tellar you are just being a homer, the decks play the exact same way.

    • @sekaihunter9378
      @sekaihunter9378 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I would say with the new support these two decks have merged into one, as the best variant of the deck really requires you to play a considerable amounts of Constellars in the main deck and two must have Xyz in the ED. The support really isn't leaning towards any of them, but to combine them into one. Even the Xyz Caduceus is at most beneficial when you can add back both a Tellarknight and a Constellar together.

    • @rustedmoss-u
      @rustedmoss-u ปีที่แล้ว

      @@jeffsanders5444 after playing both I can say the only 2 reasons as to why you would play actual constellars is because of being able to use Sheratan less awkwardly and being able to force out Nibiru more consistently in 2 cards thanks to Pollux and Caduceus being things
