- I recently visited Round 1, an amusement arcade facility with a large number of claw machines. There are over 300 claw machines. There were also many food-themed claw machines, and this time I tried my hand at several of those machines. However, it can get quite expensive.

I'm utterly fascinated with all the claw and vending machines in Japan. That said, hope you have really good recycling programs because the amount of packaging is crazy.

From what little I know, Japan seems to be very strict about recycling and yes, does indeed have a good recycling program. However, this is based on limited knowledge so I could be wrong.
That package inside a package inside a box was intense. I thought he just won a decent prize and it ends up being 15 small cookies. Yeesh.
When the inside of the Milky candy was just a plastic ball with bags inside.... LAME!!!! I thought it would be one of those novelty giant candies lol

Thank you for your videos! I’ve got flashbacks when I’ve been to Osaka a month before pandemic began. I liked warm coffee in bottles on hot shelves. It was very delicious. I am also missing rice rolls with filling of salmon, either a spicy fish and some more.

I love round 1, we have one here at my local mall. I'm terrible at the claw machines, my son and I go together when he comes to town, he is much better at them. I have a collection of plushies he has won for me over the years. I do take my grandchildren once a week, they love to play the games and win tickets for prizes. Great video, really enjoyed it!

The trick to the last game is when the box is a little bit in the hole, you want to get the claw under the edge but not grip the prize, so that it stands up without picking it up and will fall down the gap.

I have a friend who does the online claw games some times and she even says they are very addictive and you have to really limit yourself because it's easy to spend so much money playing them! The last machine was built unfair, it drops it at the slope so the box gets tilted and it's basically impossible to not have it stuck with an opening that tight. Kinda a pity, the other ones may not give you the candy at first try but at least you get something for being persistent.
Likely needed to be played in a non-intended way, like using one claw to push it into the hole after it was lined up, rather than picking it up again
The potato chips machine at the end was just straight up a rip off! 😭
