Excited to watch the rest of the videos on your channel, I think it's gonna be a binge for me 😅 A little note about the door closing... After having doors installed in our house and having to fix them, doors acting weird no longer phase me. Even the slightest off balance will make them act stupid. And our house shifts a lot during the season changes so that doesn't help. Having come through the door means even the tiniest bump or shirt touching could have caused it, especially in these buildings where not a single thing is straight and balanced.
I grow up and graduated from high school in East CLEVELAND and went to the army came home on leave and saw what happened to a thriving city and in less than 4 years after being gone it turned in the walking Dead literally. All I can to the people who came out of school from Shaw in 1998. And remember how beutful

@URBEX HILL I'm done, and what a Stunning ending to your Video! I kept hearing Arson, and he NAILED IT!!! He spoke his Truth, BEAUTIFULLY! Which has left me in Tears! The WHOLE VIDEO, from what I heard, to your Walk, makes Total Sense Now! What a Horrible way to Die!!!
To bad those buildings are condemned. I can see the hidden beauty. What a great tour. That old architecture is still stunning, even in it's worn down state.
I love this video! Those buildings are so fascinating. I'm Japanese and had never traveled overseas, but I hope I could go somewhere like this soon. Until the coronavirus settles down, I cannot trip overseas, but I think I can satisfy by watching your video ;)
I held my breath through most of the video, worried that you were going to fall through the rotted floor. Glad that you made it out safely! It's so sad, thinking that these apartments were people's homes at one time. The buildings look like they were great buildings in their day, solidly built, lots of big windows to let in light, and lots of character, unlike modern shoebox apartments. Those little alcoves in some of the living rooms probably originally housed murphy beds, for added sleeping space, if needed. That was somewhat common feature in apartment buildings like these built in the early 20th century.
Looks like buildings in The Last of Us games. A lot of the buildings like this in New York where I’m from have been torn down already with the history wiped away too so it’s interesting to buildings like this that are still just left to be broken down by nature. Thanks for exploring this place for us
Another amazing explore, thanks Chris. I hope you let someone know where you are when you explore these decayed places. I would hate for some shit to happen and no now who’s where you are!? I was halfway thru the vid when I wrote this. I must agree with you. It is terribly sad to see living conditions of some people. Those apartments look like once upon a time, they were nice places. I love the architecture of these buildings and I love the way you pick up the smallest things and give it a look with the camera. I just wanted to add that. Thanx for your hard work and your compassion.
I assume this man was living in a building here? It's sad. These buildings had so much character. They don't build things like this anymore. The beautiful woodwork. The tile work. Thanks for the vid. I enjoy your work. You go into some truly dangerous and interesting places.
Omg. I love old buildings and old wood. Just the baseboards are valuable. Those doors are solid wood. Omg those gorgeous old bricks on the outside even. The old cabinets in the kitchens. Ppl that redo old homes would love a chance to try to save some of these interior items. The buildings are too far gone but even the spindles on the collapsing stairs are not made anymore.

There was this report here’s a paragraph - Michael White, 40, of East Cleveland, found the bone on the second floor of an abandoned three-story apartment building on Elderwood Avenue near Strathmore Street.
I am just 12 minutes in, but this is so fu**ing sad!!!! Thank you, I never knew this story until now💚 Sad but important! Keep yourself safe and with good health💚 Greetings from Norway🇧🇻🙂
31:31 woooooow I wish I was bold enough to explore. I want to see the abandoned apartment bldg near E 140 and lakeshore so bad! You almost miss the bldg when you drive past. Great video btw
A lot of that can still be recycled. The wood frame and wood lath strips can be burned for fuel. Or wood can be clean of nails and recycled into OSB (Structural Panels) . The mortar can be ground off the bricks. The bricks could be resold locally for pavers. Or for what ever a consumer may want them for. If there were ten thousand bottles that could be recycled for 10 cents a bottle, people would cash the bottles in. Obviously, no one will care if parts are taken. I'm surprised he just showed some copper pipes ! Yes, i am quite sure it was copper, not galvanized pipe. Galvanized pipe would have some lead in the couplings. The paint is probably full of lead. Concrete and cementitious materials can be ground down and reused by companies that make concrete blocks and cement. Just realized, there is still a lot of wood flooring that can be reused. The cost of yellow pine flooring is very high. I'm sure it could get a good price if each piece is cleaned up, dried and bundled. Flooring at the time the building was built was probable a #1 grade. (No knots). And the burnt, chard wood can be used for the soil in garden prep.
Yeah! But instead of actually trying to GAIN something from all these materials they just throw their hands up and try to find millions to pay to demolishion companies..so incredibly dumb!
Nobody is recycling that shit bud sorry it’s been pissed all over, spit bled on probably, half still have people in & out. I know you could & it sounds great on paper but most of these are knocked down and hauled straight to the dump where they separate trash and recyclables their.
Also you say that, do you know the amount of work involved in doing what your saying? Whose gonna pay them to do that? It’s just not feasible as great as it sounds
Man, you earned my subscribership just from this video along! I can’t wait to watch the rest of your videos. Thanks for taking danger into consideration for good footage👍
I appreciate that you don’t sanitise your language on the video, lol. This would have been such an architecturally stunning neighbourhood. I’m amazed there are still so many salvageable Art Deco doors, windows, bannisters etc in that first building. It seems so bizarre to me that this was a poor neighbourhood, as where I’m from, only the rich can afford to live in such beautiful buildings, and they would be “heritage listed” (historical register). The poorer parts of town are much newer! The decay is amazing, thanks for the amazing nail-biting explore.

The buildings, you could tell, were fairly nice, once upon a time. (Save the small ass restrooms) She loves old Cleveland architecture. Please make more vids, for sure, but stay safe. Going it alone in those abandoned places isn't exactly safe, and that isn't even about paranormal anything. People are far more dangerous, and there's plenty of them in those places. (You can clearly tell that by the amount of worn pathways in the rubble on the floors) Ghosts didn't do all that. Respect, though. Great video. Will be watching more, as I just found you via another channel. She misses Cleveland.......

That's exactly what I was thinking; about the locks. That's... weird. Also, there seems to be a lot of continuously used trails in the hallways. Could be animals, could be something else, could be whoever is using the new locks in an old abandoned building?
I've seen this on a paranormal ghost TH-cam channel and they said its a creepy ghost girl but it looks more like a dead body. Given the new locks that makes it so much more creepy

My aunt lived not far from Silverman's. We used to visit her there and it was so nice over there! I remember that street bc the last time I was in that area ppl were still living in those apts and many others in EC. The large houses, apt bldgs were so great. BBQ joints, clubs...when I was in my 20's my boyfriend and I would come from Miles/Garfield Hts to hit EC especially on the weekends! 🥰 EC was beautiful. I loved it! Love the introduction and how the exploration starts. These videos are scary and trippy at the same time. Just wow 😍 keep it up bro !
Thanks for the explore and I'm so glad I found the channel. You do great work and are really brave! Excited to watch the rest of the videos on your channel, I think it's gonna be a binge for me 😅
A little note about the door closing...

To bad those buildings are condemned. I can see the hidden beauty. What a great tour. That old architecture is still stunning, even in it's worn down state.
Can't wait for it to start!!! Super psyched to see this one!!!
I love this video! Those buildings are so fascinating. I'm Japanese and had never traveled overseas, but I hope I could go somewhere like this soon. Until the coronavirus settles down, I cannot trip overseas, but I think I can satisfy by watching your video ;)
You should see America. I would love to go to Japan!
Have you ever visited the haunted forest in Japan? 👻
This place is so hauntingly beautiful.
Dude ur lighting is now amazing. Well done . Awesome video!
Thanks man!!! I appreciate that
Looks like buildings in The Last of Us games. A lot of the buildings like this in New York where I’m from have been torn down already with the history wiped away too so it’s interesting to buildings like this that are still just left to be broken down by nature. Thanks for exploring this place for us
Call me crazy , but I love watching these video's while studying . Absolutely relaxing and mysterious ! Keep up brother.
The history you gave in the intro was really interesting! Such a creepy place, great video

So sad to see this happen in our cities.

And shiplap.

Smart man, I’m sure even more pieces you haven’t mentioned could be reused or recycled! You covered a lot of bases though for sure.
It has bad energy on it. You must use good new energy to prosper.
Great to hear the backstory presented so well, makes all the difference.
This city wasn't always considered poor that's why the buildings were so nice didn't start going downhill til the late 80s
The man at the end of this video was speaking the TRUTH!
So sad to see such devastation. By the way, please be careful while you explore.

My girl is from Cleveland....(and I don't mean Parma).....this made her sad but also intrigued to see. Her son just started Case Western this year, and we were in the city a week ago, as a matter of fact.
Not sure I can go for the timestamp lists i've seen posted here, but it's clear you were being watched by someone. And by someone, I'm doubting ghost.
None the less, we really enjoyed your video. The buildings, you could tell, were fairly nice, once upon a time. (Save the small ass restrooms)
She loves old Cleveland architecture.
Ive got videos of me exploring these buildings in 2018, these are scary to be in. Props to you for going alone. Its cool to see a 4ish year difference. Its really cool to sit an learn ☺👍
Thats cool. I'm from the area too! What part u from?
You still explore
40:39 there is something inside, you can see between the woods (slow down reproduction speed) 40:42 why are there so many new locks in such an abandoned place?
That's exactly what I was thinking; about the locks. That's... weird. Also, there seems to be a lot of continuously used trails in the hallways. Could be animals, could be something else, could be whoever is using the new locks in an old abandoned building?
I've seen this on a paranormal ghost TH-cam channel and they said its a creepy ghost girl but it looks more like a dead body. Given the new locks that makes it so much more creepy
Idk if I’m going crazy but I saw a face.
Thank you for this , a great insight . Very sad to see lost lives , families and whole communities gone . Thank you for sharing ..Subbed!
