It’s easy to appreciate Xhaka NOW. I want to say I always appreciated him when he was in our club , always disagreed with the haters, and his final season was phenomenal. Furthermore he carried us through from the out-of-form Ozil era and in to the new era. Even if we win a trophy in a few seasons from now and not this one- Xhaka will have a spiritual contribution to that title.

Xhaka's Arsenal cycle had come to an end
He wanted to go. He had to. Imagine if he was here now and Bayer leverkusen was doing this. He would be regretting. So it's good he left. I'm glad he made the choice. It was a right one.
To be fair he didn't let him go. Xhaka even tried to leave end 2021/2022 season. Xhaka was adamant that he wanted to leave .
Havertz has been excellent since signing. You just don't understand football well enough to see it. Statistics only tell half the story. Rice the one who was meant to replace Xhaka and there's no question Rice is better
...or his biggest mistake was convincing xhaka to stay and letting him cost us points every season for a few more years before finally having his first good season at the club (in which he still cost us points!)
The guy *inarguably* cost us champions league qualification all on his own TWICE with repeated & completely unforced errors ffs. He's literally Mustafi with PR (but at least Shkodran openly accepted responsibility for his shortcomings instead of blaming them on other people!)
