This was a great video. I love hearing about the history of the area. Could you do a video on any areas you can live in Prescott without a car? Are there any walkable communities that are not just for tourists?

Great suggestion! There’s quite a few neighborhoods just south of downtown like Hassayampa Mountain Club that offer pines, many modest size cabins and cottages and quite walkable. There’s also many of the historic homes but they do get pricey on Park and Mt. Vernon Streets.

I didn’t realize Prescott was dry desert, I thought it was in the mountains

It changes rapidly can go from high talks
Pines to more granite outcroppings with scrub brush onto open fields. Thanks for watching

It’s a transitional area from pine forest to mixed to desert. Love it here.

It's a rural area. We don't need stores etc

Agreed I don’t have an issue driving a little further for shopping if it means I get to live in a rural setting.

@@livinginprescott Yes,,, I don't like what I'm reading about how the long time residents are striving to have their little utopia to their standards. Oh well, they have their reward now
