    We used RES. They are the best. Quality homes, excellent to deal with. No surprises. Actually, our home surpassed our expectations.

    I’m using Ron Owsley of Premier Homes to build my custom home. Permits in Prescott take forever it seems, be aware of that!

    We're just going to have to run a grounding electrode conductor to your wellhead. And larger copper service wires for the voltage drop. We'll also put burial ribbon on the feeders to the pool house for extra protection.

    Love your videos. I am wondering about having a modular factory-built delivered to a site. Any advice and/or recommendations?

      Thanks! Yes this is a popular option in the area. There are some communities in all of the quad cities that would accommodate. Often times you have to have the land first. Also you would want to make sure to review any applicable CC&Rs first. Let us know if we can help. Thanks for watching.

      @@livinginprescott Thank you so much. I plan to retire in 3 years. Can this option also reduce the overall length of the project vs. the stick build?

      @@tornwax Absolutely! Easily cut the time in half. Once your site is prepped, you could have the home delivered, set and utilities hooked up.

    Just found your channel! When it comes to building custom in Prescott, are there any lots available in town anymore or is the only available land to build a custom home more in the outlying areas? Just curious!

    are barndominiums allowed on most lots?

      Not in the neighborhoods that are in an HOA however in outlying communities they can be. Also I have heard the building department can be a little difficult with them. There is a couple building one in Paulden now and they are documenting the process on Instagram. Let me see if I can find them. Thanks for watching!
