Thanks bro the whole time i was hitting the pins with a hammer thinking they werent commected to the door i thought the pins would individually slide up and down. I was like why tf arent they coming out lol
nice video...I want to remove my door to get an angle grinder in that corner. The only thing holding me back is that speaker wire. Really don't feel like removing the panel just for those two wires. Crazy they didn't put a connector either in the frame or in the door where the rubber grommets are. Thanks again!!
Has anyone had difficulty lifting the door up off the pins? I have everything disconnected on mine, but pushing up just moves the whole truck. Tried spraying the pins with PB blaster to loosen them, but no luck so far. I figure the body shop guys know some tricks to get the stubborn doors off.
Marc Burnes i had this issue, i simply got a large flat head screw driver wedged it in near the pins and pried on it. I had to do both hinges separately then it released
