  • @kajuncourier

For your garden, put hay, pine needles around plants,in the rows to keep weeds at bay. For Winter.Summer purposes ,build covered sheds near home to keep wood dry, make fires underneath, even when its raining or snowing. It would also help keep snow from accumulating near the home, give you more room to do minor things outside and be dry. Also for the summer to get in the shade under sheds to do outside things . Being inside most of the winter can make you bonkers. Little outside projects under the sheds during the winter gives alternative things to not coop you up. Take in Mother's Beauty as you are doing little outside projects under the sheds, but most important thing (you are dry). The fun part of life is to (THINK OUTSIDE THE BOX). That is where creativity is the best.

I hope they do build a wood shed, it is hard to watch her go out in the snow with her yoga clothes every winter to get a few pieces of wood, needs to have more on porch and smaller wood ready for stove. A shed would allow her to at least stay dry. They can start with a lean two.

I am a horticulturalist and I run a market garden 4,000 square metres. Put cardboard down on all of the paths and cover them with woodchips and that way the only weeding you'll have to do will be in the beds. Also when weeding, prioritise mature weeds before they go to seed/flower.
You could also try and put up some physical barriers for the weed seeds blowing in on the wind like hoop netting your beds or doing a heavy mulch on the beds too, that also makes weeds easier to pull out when their roots are just in the lose mulch.

If you can get one from lowes/a hardware store its a total game changer. While it doesnt pull by the root, you can cover much more square feet and never allow roots to get large. Seriously. Its the BEST. Especially for a garden your size!

Hey Isabel, you should check out what floret flower farm does to suppress weeds and grow their flowers. They buy these huge sheets of landscape fabric, then burn holes in rows where they will plant into. Then you can reuse them every season! You could cover majority of the land you have and that would help a lot with the amount of land you’re growing on :)

Isabel! I grew up in farmland... (PLEASE READ) when potato season was over, we put pigs in the garden area for a day or two.... they will naturally uproot any leftover potatoes and prep your soil for the next crop! They actually do all the tilling and dig up weeds and rocks...It's a win win... if you have a neighbor with a couple of pigs to borrow..... much love ❤ 😍

Dear Isabel' You should know that I am a HUGE fan of yours and I adore you with such respect and fondness. But I am a person who will not hold back if I see something negative. I think life is too short to bullshit and hold back and pretend.
In the beginning of the video ' You say how grateful you are to live a simple life in the mountains what doesn't require much. But throughout the video you contradict the words you said in the beginning.
I sometimes get really confused with the things you say. I tried not to say anything before and just go on everything is OK. I had to respond today ' As I seriously don't want to hold back and pretend everything I saw is OK ' Just so I don't say something and hurt you. Actually if I stay silent I could hurt you way more and I am not the type of person who holds back my true feelings ' I can not stand trying to pretend.
You are blessed with a successful TH-cam channel and a beautiful tiny home in a beautiful location and a beautiful family and a good boyfriends and two adorable fur babies and you have the most precious gift a human being can get when born to this amazing beautiful world ' A beautiful heart and you look beautiful just as your heart is and you are such a beautiful good human being and a person and young decent kind woman who is so damn inspiring.
After all that ' Why are you saying your life is a mess and why are you not truly happy. I personally feel ' You are sometimes too ambitious and you want to do so much and you do it by neglecting what you have right in front of you. Including your beautiful garden.
Your garden deserve your attention and your tiny home deserve it too. Why neglect both by going to focus on other things and then you whine about it later .
Why is your storeroom and your garden such a mess. It's because you put too many things on your plate in life and trying to be successful in everything you do and then you end up messing it all up and yourself.
Learn to NOT neglect the beautiful things you were blessed with already by trying to be over ambitious trying to achieve things you don't have.
Three weeks away from a garden with no attention given ' It will be exactly what you have. If you keep putting bags and everything inside a storeroom. You will always have a messy storeroom. Stop whining after doing these things and take responsibility for your choices with respect for what you already have being truly MOST genuinely grateful and stop complaining.
Thank you for being you and I hope you learn being you doesn't have to always challenge yourself and destroy the most valuable thing we human beings could and will have as a human beings ' OUR SANITY..
Learn to practice what you said in the beginning of this video and stop being a human being who want to do more and more ' Even when you already have something beautiful . This is why human beings always end up miserable most times. They never are satisfied with the success they already have and gave so much of themselves to achieve it. Sadly 'They continue to want more and more.... DON'T BE SOMEONE LIKE THAT !

DO NOT COME TO TELL ME SHIT ABOUT WHAT I WROTE. I WROTE THE TRUTH WITH NO MALICE BUT LOVE AND GENUINELY GIVING A SHIT.

You know, friends lean on each other and vent their frustrations... she's not allowed to do the same on her own channel simply because you don't think she has anything to be stressed or down about? Strange outlook. If it's not what you wish to hear you can easily look for something more your style to watch. She's not going to be the same person she was a few years ago at her age so it's ok to 'grow out' of watching her. Many people go through rough times emotionally whether others get it/see it or not... no reason to bag on them for it.

@@Maria-xe1bq I have been watching for a long while now and I always think when I read the title that something horrendous is happening like family is throwing her out or something has come to destroy her entire garden and they have no food.... the video just doesn't correlate with the titles way too often. Maybe it's an American thing but I can't emotionally invest in such hectic titles only to be followed by the most peaceful videos...
Honestly if I say to someone my life is a mess it doesn't mean I had rough time it means that I simply cannot cope. And I have destroyed all manner of relationships in my world and I am on the street!!
I understand how our severities can differ but if you are having such a difficult time with the life you have CHOSEN then it's time to make some new choices. Ask family for help seeing as you have a good relationship and find way of living that brings you more joy...document that and encourage people.
All out pages show hardship but then how to overcome...

I find the title kinda hurtfully chosen honesty. Hurtfully for those who really have a crappy life. I love your videos and I would trade my whole life (except my wife) with your situation and the luxury to be supported by fans, brands and live a life that rich in nature and freedom without even blinking once.
I live in a country I hate, in a city I hate with crappy people and a crappy society without the chance to change that. No money or support. Besides parks there is no way to escape it and even those do not feel like a real escape because there are still people and the sound of a city. I invested decades in my arts and never was supported by any followers, friends or what so ever. I met the most terrible folks in my life got hurt so badly that I am brand marked for life. Only my wife managed to heal my heart for a good amount and without her I really do not know where or how I would be.
Please be aware that what you have is such a gift and chance people would die for. I never got chances in my life regardless how hard I put my heart into it and how many hardships I endured. I actually do not have any dreams regarding this society or finding my place in it anymore. I am done with this world and its ways because it drains me alive. All those years ate me up from the inside and I already do not feel like myself anymore. Corona did its huge part in it for the worst. It was like the lid on the coffin with me and this world.
I have no job, no place in this world except on my wives side which I support with all my heart and her dreams because my dreams are gone. I do not see them anymore. What I witnessed, what I learned from life was just too much.
So please again: What you have is a blessing. Each day you can live like that is a gift which others would die for.

Our corn died in the heat, and my tomatoes haven't done well. Something got in and ate my zucchini. The only things that did well were the strawberries and green peppers. Seems clueless as to how good she has it. Millions of people would kill to have her life. Kinda sad.

Wow sweet Isabel, I was sad to hear that Logan is leaving but I’m glad he is finishing school. I just got so use to seeing you guys together and I just loved seeing that. You guys are perfect for each together. I’ll miss seeing Logan in your videos 😢 I hope he visits or you visit him. I still love seeing you Isa so that won’t change anything. Cheer up little Princess . Good things always comes your way. God Bless you always. ✝️🙏❤️
