Isabel, you have such a beautiful opportunity to befriend the animals on your property. They know of your spiritual connection to nature and with time they can become your friends. I once did that, deer would come by for a head scratch, I would bend down an apple tree branch and they would have a snack, or I would lay down with a dozen deer for an afternoon nap.And they would proudly introduce me to their new offspring. This was truly a treat.
I would think one would rather let deer be deer otherwise they become something else in nature I live in New Jersey where more deer are killed from automobiles than hunters and yet there numbers thrive since todays predictor has four wheels ?
That is magical!! How neat! I live in the woods- feed many deer on and off . They'll bring their babes in to see me in the early summer. They don't let me get close, let alone close enough for a nap! So cool. Count your blessings because that doesn't happen everyday 🙂. Nor do deer dance on your porch every morning either lol!!

Please continue your work. You create such masterpieces with your filming gifts and skilled, hard earned talents. You are opening hearts and touching souls with your kindness and style of freedom.

Isabel, thank you. I cry at times when I watch your videos and feel a sense of calmness wash over me. I am northerner ,grew up in beautiful Ontario Canada. I have been living in the south for awhile now ,which is beautiful in its own way....but I miss the water, mountains, rock etc. your videos take me home. Your view is so incredibly beautiful and your eyes and the way they see is with such radiance and positivity. I don't usually comment and avoid social media...but I am happy I found your art
@Sam Yaza Of course not everybody has the opportunity to live where she lives, to have helping friends and family, to be healthy and brave enough for this journey and her way of living. But she worked really hard for all of this. Her videos are full of change, new ideas, failed plans. It takes some time. And if you want to live like that, i’m sure you can find a way to do so or at least a compromise. Good luck :)
See so many people requesting a cookbook. And in time the fam will have lots of fresh produce to take to market. Isabel is such a hard worker. Bums me out when people imply that she lives off her folks. It’s a blessing for families to pull together and she clearly contributes. I was inspired to make the pie from a previous video. I had to improvise a little. My family loved it!
I'm a house Mom of four, and I love sneaking into your videos. I imagine if I didn't move to the city and start my life here this is exactly where I would want to be.
Hahaha! Finishing up with Wagon Wheel... Another classic video compilation! Thanks, Isabel. Thanks for being you, for sharing your life and helping us all through these challenging times.
I befriended a squirrel last year. I don t live in the woods but woods surround my neighborhood. I spend a lot of time in my yard stacking wood, yard work, my multiple gardens. One day end of last summer she just came scampering into my yard and stayed about 5-6 ft away eating some of the bird seed that had fallen to the ground. I bought some shelled, unsalted peanuts and started throwing them to her. Now she takes them straight from me, follows me all over the yard. I left my storm window open all winter about 4 inches and everyday I d call her. If she comes to the window and I dont notice she ll run up and down the porch railings looking in all the windows. At the porch swing, which is directly under a large window, she ll sit with her nose against the glass until I see her! I would open my indoor window and hand her peanuts. Pears too. Then I d line the sill with peanuts and she would come back and forth all day sitting on that sill eating while I talked to her. I just love her to pieces. Named her Valentine! 💖🐿
I’m absolutely in love with what you eat! Please think about making a cookbook or something in the future, it would be awesome to recreate at home :) !
You are SO inspiring. I'm currently battling depression and anxiety, but definitely determined to overcome my fears and the ghosts in my head for good someday. Our society is sick. City life is soul-destroying for a lot of us right now. I really think we all should strive for a simpler life near nature, be more self-sufficient, be really aware of the cost of life, get out of the work-consume economic cycle as much as possible. I really think there is a slow and silent yet constant revolution towards this direction. I'll join someday, I'm getting ready.
Your skills, love for life and your simplicity of each day is such an inspiration to me. I'm like 60 and I have nothing but admiration and respect for you. Thank you for the dedication you have in sharing your life with us...your fans.
You talk the talk and walk the walk and such a breath of fresh air! Wish I was young again! Perhaps some of the dry branches you can cut up to use as kindling for you little stove! Hugs from Montreal, Canada!
I agree! Isabel's recipes have been LIFE CHANGING for me (personally). My pantry has gone from "pre-packaged" snacks (full of white sugar, saturated fats, and preservatives) to cashews, oats, flaxseed, almonds, coconut flakes and dates! Her bread, pie, and cookie recipes are my new favorites! I have so much more ENERGY! on my Isabel-inspired diet and I'm feeling really healthier than I have felt in years!

Not sure if you’ve done this before, but next winter pick up a pair of snowshoes. I spent most of my winter hiking up mountains with snowshoes, as well as working around my family’s farm. Really changes the game when it come to deep snow and ice.
Hi - she has mentioned in previous videos she does have snow shoes and she also has ice cleats. I bet they are a big help for walking around in deep snow and ice.
Not caught up in technology. Technology is what allows us to see this video. Lots of technology and equipment being used to produce this video... we can all get rid of our cellphones and televisions.
I honestly don't know what to think of this. In the videos she shows off such a natural, sustainable lifestyle, but in the end she used her man-made car to get there, films everything to upload it on the internet, lots of technology involved everywhere. If everybody lived like her, just taking advantage of our advancements but not doing something for it themselves, we wouldn't even have all the technologies she uses daily.
@@netii126 No I meant being on her phone 24 7 or playing games forever, she's young and actually living, enjoying nature, planting gardens, and working hard.Thats all I think young people can learn from her these days.
Not gonna lie, i put the playlist of your videos on and they help me fall into a tranquil sleep. Thank you for how natural and soothing your videos are.
Evidently, you don't have moles. They are meat eaters, but have an elaborate underground tunnel system and tend to chew through roots while looking for and eating worms. They're not easy to trap. We had a 10 acre piece in Montana and 4 acres were meadow plus there is a spring fed pond that always has water in it. A river also runs through a corner of the property. There is roughly 6 acres of untouched forested land that is connected to the wilderness...lots of work! It cost us $70,500. I studied and worked as a Land Surveyor and later as an educator while we flipped our properties. I liked my summers off. I broke that 4 acre meadow with a 2 bottom plow I pulled with a 9N Ford tractor. And, then began picking the rocks but graduated to a rock drag pulled with that 9N until I had two huge mounds of rocks. We stayed there 28 years eventually selling in July of 2018. The first house we bought was $7,500. The next one was $27,500. We also bought a couple of rentals. When I was about your age I began to dig out the basement of the 1927 $27,500 house to increase the value. There was a half basement. And a musty crawl space that had about 3 feet or less of clearance between the exposed floor joists and the solid, wet and dank clay I needed to remove. I began by breaking through a retaining wall that was concrete and then red bricks that held in the clay. I slammed away at that retaining wall with a long handled 6 pound sledge hammer. It took about three 10 hour days to break through that 15" thick retaining wall before I could take a pick axe after the clay to break it apart and, then use 5 gallon buckets I'd fill up and hoist out a small window a bucket at a time, but then rigged a series of planks to push up a wheel barrow into the back of my 1951 Dodge 1/2 ton truck. In total I dug out 55 cubic yards of wet compacted clay that became much much more volumness after being picked and broken apart. It was sure nice to eventually have a full basement with all the trimmings...pool table, pingpong table and foosball table. If I hadn't done that work we would not have had the money for the $70,500 property we sold for right at $400,000. We would not have invested in the stock market if I hadn't studied that well enough to pick out decent stocks. If you haven't stuck something into a place like Vanguard I highly recommend you do it and then check back to see how it's doing in about 40 years. And, now? Now, I hope this property here in Costa Rica will be my last flip! We paid cash and it is truly amazing... Did my wife and I go skinny dipping? Darn tootin we did...haha A rhetorical question. Where did I start? Farming in North Dakota....Turning bales over to keep mold from growing on the bottom. I was 7 and they gave me a penny a bale. In my spare time I sold small bottles of India ink to my second grade class mates for 5 cents to 15 cents a bottle for their fountain pens, which was against school policy as they made quite a mess. I made all of them swear they would not tell where they got the ink. Then one day the teacher walked over to my little wooden desk that had a round hole up in the right hand corner. She said, "Teddy, stand up!" I resisted, but she was bigger than me so I did stand up. It was at that moment that my career as a budding chemist came to a screeching halt! She then had me empty all of my pockets that were plum full of candy. She put 2 and 2 together and I then tried to lie, but to no avail. She knew I was very poor so also knew I did not have money to spend on that much candy. A teacher can be a very dangerous person, after all, they do have a captive audience...It was good money while it lasted.. Have I ever been bailed out? Yep! 😁 My mother bailed me out. She said it was her fault for buying me that chemistry set with all those chemicals to mix together. My poor mother...🙃 Bye
Cleaning up all the dead wood looks so satisfying, I would totally have came over to help if I was in the area. I also want to say thanks for doing a part in helping prevent a forest fire from being worse then what it already can be.
Spring IS the best!! The first warmer days of sunshine are just pure saturated magic. My 3year old is been walking around bare feet for the last 3days, with a warm jacket and sometimes a hat, but bare feet. I check on her regularly and her feet are always warm from the running around and climbing.
When i watched her swimming back in October, I thought 'she must have filmed this ages ago, can't still be swimming NOW'. Haha little did i kno... Plus she's in a t-shirt in the snow, and I'm in 2 sweaters indoors :-). All that enthusiasm for life must be like a little furnace inside her keeping her warm :-)
Had to pause the video to come here and point out that at 1:44 Isabel's hair over her lip looks like she has a long fancy mustache and it's hilarious and a nice start lol

I know this is almost 2 years old but what a fitting pretty song/voice and infectious laugh what a joy to watch. And your kitchen looks so much better painted!
Hope you’re careful burning dead timber, little bug’s and other vital critters spend winter inside dead wood before emerging into a new yearly job list of eco balancing tasks.....Lovely trio musical thing going there.....😊
There’s nothing like the first rain of the year. We had a big downpour today and it washed away all the dirty snow and nourished the plants peeking through the ground to signify spring. Happy Spring, Isabel. 🌻

I come here to visualize my dream life. This channel is my vision board
Me too. Isabel and her life are lovely and her videos are so nurturing.
Right? Our time here on earth is limited...... don't "waste it" living a life that doesn't bring you JOY and HAPPINESS.
When you, Raquel and Madeline started playing together it felt like my heart was filled with love again. It happens everytime I watch your videos. They mean the world to me.. Thank you ❤🌱☀️
I love how in every video she's so happy to wake up, to see the view outside or to go to river. She do this everyday but still gets so excited
I don't usually comment and avoid social media...but I am happy I found your art
ahhh the stories of your life are beautiful to see 💕so much love in your heart!
HEY ANJA glad to see you here :))
Anja I love your videos!! A big hug from Spain
ANJA!
@@LessiWho I like your response but I think they were being sarcastic :)
Them singing wagon wheel at the end ♥️ I sang along smiling and also cried because I really need a friend

^I highly recommend this album
I feel that way sometimes so I watch videos like these to keep me company.☺️
We're a big family siSTAR. Much love 💕
My family loved it!
she shares a LOT of recipies on her Patreon!
I dream of this life. I want the courage you have.
That's adorable
She’s a legit angel that needs to be protected at all times!!! Thank you for being unapologetically yourself & loving every moment to it’s fullest!!
Would you consider putting a cook book together to sell? I want to cook every single thing you make on camera 😭✨💕
same here!
Agree!!!!
I am trying to eat like her I have huge stomach problems!!!
She told she writes a book about her cooking,... i hope you will find a store where you can buy all those things and also cost not that much 😊
You'd be the healthiest person on the planet!...
You should write a cookbook. Everything you make looks wonderful!
“Life is better when you’re sharing it with someone special”!
Something I think about often
Isabel, your videos kept me company when I was staying home because I had COVID. It felt like you were a friend. Thank you for the beautiful content and all your hard work. You're my favourite TH-camr. Keep being you. 💚💚💚

Two months ago when Isabel went to vanlife with Hannah, I bought flights to florida for my away time and im so happy that im leaving my home tomorrow for adventure! 💞💞💞💞
Daisy, I hope you have wonderful adventures in Florida. But don't go swimming with the gators like hannah did 🐊
i was so happy to see her (finally) wearing gloves when clearing the brush at 18:52 but immediately cringed when i saw her sandals lmaoo protect your body girl!!
You young ladies are amazing beautiful souls, I love watching you sing and play your instruments.
Morning coffee is always better when watching Isabel’s videos ☺️
Not sure if you’ve done this before, but next winter pick up a pair of snowshoes. I spent most of my winter hiking up mountains with snowshoes, as well as working around my family’s farm. Really changes the game when it come to deep snow and ice.
You are so right...
Hi - she has mentioned in previous videos she does have snow shoes and she also has ice cleats. I bet they are a big help for walking around in deep snow and ice.
Hundreds of comments like this on her winter walk videos. She was climbing the hill in Doc's, no socks. Obviously had Molten snow in her boots.
Nature is so powerful, all the soul needs to feel full. A intertwined connection with her, threading through 🌬 🌿
Love how she's not caught up on technology or trying to attain unnecessary material possessions. She has the real riches in life😊
Not caught up in technology.
My poor mother...🙃
Bye
Oh my!! Loved reading your story ❤ thank you
The unintentional ASMR of your brilliant cooking skills gets me every time 👏
So true 🧘🏻♂️
This!

The gentle people, like all you, will inherit the earth.
We really need you to make a cookbook of your recipes! Especially that pie with date crust!!!! 😄💓
Would definitely buy that!!!
She's got one in the pipeline. She commented this awhile ago.
yes a cookbook please Isabel! Thank you so much for your joyful videos😄
I was so looking for this!! It was awesome
I also was looking for this lmao!♥️♥️
Scarlett, I was reading your reply just as isa's hair blew across her face. Good timing
Haha right? My favorite is that she leaves those things in! Some vloggers would be embarrassed or something. She’s just living and loving!
A wood chipper would be handy for your property and the chips too. Thanks for sharing your lovely world.
Your life is like a vicarious dose of free happiness! Thank you so much for sharing it. Also, thanks for the recipe! It looks delicious.
Dear Isabel you seem to be from an extra special planet. This planet here needs more souls like you are! You are wonderful in everything you do.

Spring has sprung! Thank goodness, this past winter was especially difficult. 🥶
I love your child-like enthusiasm! Your "wow's" are infectious. And I love the ASMR when you are preparing food. LoL
Her pots and kitchen is so clean. I like to cook but somehow it is always messy.
Thank you for my weekly dose of sanity. Thank you Isabel for existing. ✨ you make me feel happy atleast for a day.
Thank you for the bread recipe. Love what you eat and wish you'd do a cookbook 🙏🏻. You're a hard working girl. If all the youngsters worked like you, imagine how this world would be!
I know this is almost 2 years old but what a fitting pretty song/voice and infectious laugh what a joy to watch. And your kitchen looks so much better painted!
It is refreshing watching young people doing something with their lives.
You are adorable, thank you for your videos 🤗🤗🤗
Bless your heart, you are one in a million! Such an example for young girls. God Bless You!!
Welcome spring....snow melting will make things so much easier....even the deer love it...easier to find food and love seeing them in your yard...

Hope you’re careful burning dead timber, little bug’s and other vital critters spend winter inside dead wood before emerging into a new yearly job list of eco balancing tasks.....Lovely trio musical thing going there.....😊
I love your humility and life in serenity, Isabel. Overall, I love your content and its quality.

In 1973i walked around Iceland in those wooden shoes no less..what a thrill..nice stuff Isabel
Look at this little baby girl. Look at her beautiful hands! Oh my gosh, she's working so hard!!I love you Isabel 😍💜You're so beautiful and so sweet!!

When you girls started singing by the crackling sound of the fire, I swear I didn’t want the video to ever stop!😭 So beautiful! 😌

Man your mountains are so beautiful. I definetly agree with how the warm weather makes everything easier! Thanks for another great video!
There’s nothing like the first rain of the year. We had a big downpour today and it washed away all the dirty snow and nourished the plants peeking through the ground to signify spring. Happy Spring, Isabel. 🌻
You could edit your videos/life into an epic full length documentary that would absolutely win awards.
Also a video of all the bloopers and out-takes would be a great April Fools video for us!😉
