the limited edition should be not 1 penny more than £150 pounds. Levis should be ashamed of themselves for selling this garbage at 425 pounds. IF Levi's came back from the dead even he would be ashamed of what the company is doing today. Simply boycott the brand simple. thumbs up if you agree
LVC was a failure from levis after cone mills gone.I only have the 1947 the rinse one i bought in a outlet, 60 euros made in Bulgaria with selvedge from Japan Kahiara, at two weeks a go i had in my hands in a 1954 shrink to fit and my, mind emediatly compare with the toutch and the felling of the shrink to fit non selvedge denim from the eities and nineties when i was a seaman in the usa coast and all over the world, what a great denim at that era, i think levis is really to put down, its better the regular non selvedge 501 than the selvedge they use.I have a few levis cone denim selvedge non lvc its ok bat my favorite pairs with cone denim are from brave star selvage, the unfinished 14,blue collar 13.50 and the golden handshake 14 oz..Apreciate your honesty
I think that Levi’s is using the words heritage and death stock Cone Mills denim to abuse and overprice his jeans, and there are other brands that are doing a good job like Left Field NYC; they use denim from Vidalia Mills that uses the Draper X3 looms from Oak White factory, where was produced the denim for Levi’s, at reasonable price. The quality of Levi’s is degraded, but the regular line is getting better, although is made overseas. I agree with you in every word
I like Levi’s but not bought a new pair for about 5 years. The last pair I purchased had really awful outer seams with dimples. How on earth can they have the shame to sell such garbage. In recent years their stuff is overpriced as the vintage brand started well then they started to milk customers. I would look at Lee and wrangler in future as they have some great fits and nice quality along with a heritage brand. 😊
They could have contracted these to be made in the U.S. to impeccable quality. Freenote cloth, Railcar, Left Field could have done 501 pairs to near Japan quality. This is a scam because they know they'll sell.

The only thing special is cone Denim

My opinion: Selvedge Lee on sale unbeatable, Wrangler 13 MWZ unwashed the best quality/price tag
To be fair, 55 never came with leather patch, the last model is 54z with lesther patch
Yes!!! You are right; the paper patch starts with the 1955 model 👍👍👍👍👍👍
I'm sorry but they use to make 501s with leather patches till 1957, because the transition from leather to cardboard like.
@@nelsonbarros9229 Thank you, for sharing!! 👍👍👍👍👍👍
Good stuff
Thank you!!!!
Another nuclear vid
Thank you!!
Why so Expensive ?
That is, I wonder why? The only explanation is deadstock Cone Mill denim but is not enough to justify the tag price
conning customers.
Id rather buy a pair of Sugar cane or TCB jeans for the vintage Levi look. Those anniversary 501's look like they are milking the customers.
You nailed!!!
100
levis is a total joke. just buy wharehouse or TCB. or Lee 101 still better quality
Totally agree with you!!!!
the LVC range is going and their strategy is to get us to buy garbage for 425 pounds which isn't even on par with LVC quality.@@georgekiriakos
Wow for the same price you can get some Iron Hearts, a no brainer really. Enjoy your content man, I got my XHS 25oz selvedge in the mail. 👍
Agree with you, and congratulations!!!!!!

Hi!! You are absolutely right. It could be different if these jeans were made in the USA; feels more authentic
