I really thought about this phone but ended up staying with Samsung and got the 23 Ultra. I could see myself switching over in maybe a few years. Google seems to be making a really strong effort to compete with Apple and Samsung and their phones are getting better and better.
I'm excited for it. This might be the one device that can replace my Duo 2. It's not that I don't love my Duo, but a severely cracked screen may cause to upgrade sooner than later. Additionally, having the ability to split screen and having a similar aspect ratio makes it a great option.
This may not be amongst the most popular opinions but, I am getting this to replace both my 7 pro and my zfold4 . There is only 1 feature that I will miss from the zfold4 and that is DEX. I don't use an SPEN ever so.. I just think this will be way more useful of a design than the zfold4. I hate how skinny the zfold4 is
I was excited about this phone but after seeing it and seeing the specs it was a major letdown I can't stand those bezels' slow charging low battery life and the fact that they chose to not use the new chipset for it made me want to keep my z fold 4 hopefully they do some major upgrades for their next generation
Front display opinions are entirely subjective. In "real world" application, the Samsung front display is waaaaaay more 1 hand useable, and much more preferred by actual fold users. I will likely give the pixel fold a try, but I'm not thrilled about the wider front screen. Inside screen is for 2 hands. The outer screen should not be.
Pixel Fold is better than Galaxy Fold 4 .... The only issue is its long term reliability .... I think galaxy fold 4 will prove to be more reliable in the long run ! .... 🙂 ....
Nice but way to expensive for a 1st Gen. Same price as a Samsung Fold with proven reliability.

I want the pixel fold bad, but I'm locked in with the fold 4. I've always hated the outer screen of the fold

Would have been perfect without the thick Bezels. But still good nonetheless.

The specs favor the Fold 5, but I would lean Pixel if the self-repair program supports it. A $1800 NEEDS replaceable parts.
