I could have seen Pink Floyd doing this track in an alternative universe lol. Kind of up there with Julia Dreams. Especially towards the end: "Will the misty master break me? Will the key unlock my mind? Will the following footsteps catch me? Am I really dying?" As it starts to trail off into an eerie tripiness.
My mind is blown. Poe's music is unlike anything else. I can't stop listening to this. It's bending my reality.... in the best possible way. Where is she? God I hope "This Road" makes it out of The Dark Place.

She got cucked by a merger between AOL and Time Warner in the early 2000s, her contract went into the limbo. She cannot publish sounds that earn her money under the name Poe outside of movies/games. I've read that this might change soon. It's very sad what happened to her.

That merger was the biggest stake in the heart of her career because the merger was fucking terrible to begin with. We were robbed of the chance of ever seeing those 3 poe albums after haunted.
The mix on the original "official" video was very quiet, and I was able to get it in good quality and boost the mix so it plays about the same audio level as anything you'd stream off YT Music/Spotify/iTunes
