- I take a walk through some of marinas down at Wilmington peninsula next to the Port of Los Angeles. I get a short sail in on the lake and I attempt to stain and seal the teak on my boats deck. Getting closer to moving her.

What does a sailor and a marksman have in common? Both know how to read the wind.😊
That is so true!
Is that price per month?
Just as a comparison I pay $195/mo for a 32 foot slip if I pay for a full year. Includes electricity, water, internet, shower, etc. About $30/yr for registration for Tennessee.
@@terryfischer7988 man those are some good prices. Does your marina require insurance?
@@sailorspence Well technically yes. They ask you when you lease the slip but then never ask again. I carry it for liability but I bet a large number do not.
@@terryfischer7988 yeah I wonder how many boats have insurance and marine surveys in the Marinas. The marinas I checked out in the video require 300k combined single limit coverage,The marinas I toured I saw a lot of derelict vessels.
those blocks on your boom seem pretty far after for a vang, i'm wondering if they were used for some kind of preventer
Interesting. I’m going to have to figure that out. They have to be there for a reason. Thanks for watching.
