I Liked Iron Fist, Finn Jones Did Great, Danny Even Though He Is An Adult, He Was Away For 15 Years. He Still Has Childlike Moments, But In Season 2 He Becomes More Of An Adult. Wish They Continued With A 3rd Season.
Even if he wasn't a Jackie Chan, I enjoy this show. I only which he would use his power more often. The ending with Coleen suggest that the next time we see him, it was going to use his powers more often.
While I understand a bit, part of the fighting style (for example tai chi) is not about exerting force (external) but about using ones movements against them while remaining in an almost aloof state. If he was fighting rapidly it would lower the flowing capability.
2:51 They're the ones who doesn't get it. If they're really paying attention, Danny's form was Kung Fu, Tai Chi's Sword Form to be exact. I don't expect them to have encyclopedic knowledge of Kung Fu, but at least they could have recognized the moves as from Kung Fu. That's good enough for them to know that he knows what he's talking about.
I trained Kung-Fu for 4 years, I went to watch the Iron Fist series hoping to identify with the character but it didn't happen. Regarding the training scenes, Danny was supposed to alternate between push-ups, sit-ups, and Tao Lu, but it didn't even come close to that.
He's a hell of an Iron fist, but the problem is that he's out of shape, he need to build more muscle cuz Iron fist in the comics looks shredded, so thats the only thing is missing in this series
Season 2 ended as a cliffhanger, for what, I don't know, but I heard a small rumor that Iron Fist might appear in the Shang Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings movie. The rumor is not as popular as Daredevil possibly appearing in the third MCU Spider-Man movie, but it makes sense, since Shang Chi is in China, and Iron Fist Season 2 ended with Danny trying to search every Asian country for Orson Randall who might have been the Iron Fist before him like in the comic books.

Should have taken more time to find and cast someone with martial arts background that could act, rather than a GoT actor without any ability...not fair on the dude, and put the series in trouble from day one....or, work him like Keanu prep'd for John Wick and get 6 months intensive training before shooting started.
The Stunt coordinator revealed recently that the leading actor refused to training for the action sequences (which explain why almost all fights are in the dark and have him using an mask under the hood, and the strange shots they decided to go for the fights, course).
I guess it depends because you have to remember that Iron Fist is supposed to be a character who was trained by monks.Sure,he could look like a bodybuilder or a professional athlete but he doesn't really need to.If you look at a lot of martial artists in real life, they're not really that bulky.
