I love my Pen feature. I use my pens daily in my cricut. I purchased the newest adapter and use hundreds of different pens and markers. I currently am using the cricut gold glitter pen on my daughter's Wedding Invitations. I have made gift tags for years. Recipe cards, envelopes, all occasion cards, bookmarks. Sky Is the limit. I hate my handwriting so this is the number 1 feature I use the most.
I used mine ages ago with thicker scrapbook paper and made displays for my earrings when I sell them on Etsy. Made my shop name look way more professional.
Dollar Tree has a pencil and paintbrush holder that holds 49 cricut pens so the tips are down for $1.25. Thanks for the pen video, Kayla. You made a lot of cute things.
Thank you so much for this video!! I want to use the pens and infusible ink pens too but I am scared!! I’ve had my cricut for like 3 1/2 years and used it like 4 times 3 vinyl projects and 1 HTV project its so intimidating to me and it takes me FOREVER to pick fonts and I struggle with designs because I always kinda want to create my own and not use someone else’s designs
Oh, thank you, Kayla. I got a Cricut Maker 3 for Christmas. OH MYLANTA, I'm miss my Explore one..lol but I'm learning..I had quit using my pens with the E1 because I had to switch out back and forth was a lot.. I am looking forward to learning how to use it and to use pens to make cards again!!
I used the pens (could only find the watercolor ones at first tho) for some gift tags for my son's teacher gifts. I was able to write his name on them and then they cut and it was really cute. I also used one on my husband's Christmas card. I bought some more recently but haven't gotten much use yet. I like that it can write b/c my handwriting is pretty messy haha
Great ideas thank you. I use pens all the time, so thi s was a good one for ideas for me. I do struggle to get my card blanks to line up right though, both on my Joy and my Maker 3. I have to fiddle about with some scrapped blanks to get them to write and cut in the perfect place, despite having reloaded and calibrated over and over - yet print and cut is spot on. I really must try the watercolour markers. lovely demo thanks
I shared a hack recently that I think would help to get your card blanks to line up correctly. Here is the link for it: th-cam.com/video/xt_WIqp1T6I/w-d-xo.htmlsi=rVVrjRnnuKH9p-a5 It might be helpful! :) The watercolor markers are so fun!! 💗
I have the pens but they don't show up on a lot of the cardstock. I was disappointed so now I have to figure out new ways to use the cardstock. I appreciate the video.
Thankyou for some good ideas. I don’t the pens a massive amount tbh but one thing I did make were some gift tag style labels with hand wash only written on them for when I give mugs that I make. I made loads in one go and they always look lovely
I've used the cricut pen feature with a sharpie to write on gift cards that do not show the amount. If there's enough blank space I've also had it write their name or personalize it somehow.
Such great ideas!! Would you care to tell me what I would type in Cricut DS to find the coloring cards that holds the crayons? I have tried searching but can’t find any. 💕
I have a very hard time with cards… I never know what size they are and what size envelopes to make!! A4 A5 , is all confusing to me I don’t even know what they are!! Is there anything out there referencing what the A4, A5 etc cards are equal to ? 5x7

Oh yay!!! It is an adjustment switching to new machines, but I bet you will love to not have to switch the pens and blades out! ❤

Thank you.
Hi. Can all this be done with the new circuit extra? I don’t own a cricket yet and thinking about purchasing one.

Really nice tutorial. Thanks so much. I love the front that you use in the frist proyect. What is the name of that font? Thank you.❤
Thank you so much! That was actually something that was handwritten, so it sadly isn't a font!

If you click on projects in design space, try searching for coloring cards. There should be some templates that pop up! 😀
@@KaylasCricutCreations thanks so much!! 🩷

Google what a4 or a5 is, and it will tell you the exact size
