I love everything about him. He can be really defensive like sigma and then rush in with nemesis form. OR you can use nemesis form to peel for a teammate. He is so badass and the voice acting is incredible. Im so happy :)
It makes sense for Ramattra to have that 1 CC ability with the Vortex, since all the tanks are the ones with the strong CC abilities (Except Zarya, since it's on her Ult). Other than Vortex, none of his other abilities have any CC, and he doesn't have any mobility.

Locking characters was never the intended design philosophy during OW1 and it shouldn't be now. Act like I don't know anything about business? I know that short term profits kill long term engagement, but every company these days only cares about their quarterly earnings for the shareholders. Have to present the illusion of constant growth. The free route of the battle pass exists to syphon money from lazy people or players who don't have the luxury of time by presenting a paid option. I stand by my previous statement: It's bullshit.
am i the only one who thinks, so yeah his ultimate reduced damage by 50%, but defense matrix does by 100% maybe i understand this wrong but the ult swarm has to hit the enemy to reduce their damage, so just stand further away and you do full damage, but it also works on teammates then obviously.
@@bad4746 yes and everyone outside can just kill him, just like rein when he shatters, only rein reduces the damage or people inside shatter by 100% and movement speed by 100% don'tt get me wrong, it sounds strong, but not crazy compared to other tank ults
@@Bioshyn shatter is balanced because it lasts literally 2 seconds, and rein needs follow up from his team because he's too slow to confirm kills at the edge of shatter range. unless he uses charge (which is a huge risk because it means yeeting himself into enemy backlines) he's not team wiping. i can't say for sure if ramattra's ult is broken as i haven't experienced it in game, but i do know for a fact that the uptime of it is theoretically infinite (so long as there are enemies in its effective range, it doesn't end) and it does damage while reducing enemy damage. it's not at all comparable to shatter and especially not to defense matrix which, mind you, does not block all forms of damage 100%. beam weapons such as winston, zarya, mei, moira, and symmetra ignore DM. it is also solely a front facing ability that only lasts 3 seconds if used all at once. again, can't say for sure if this new ult will be broken but i can assure you the concerns are valid, especially with blizzard's track record of hero launch balance. kiriko may not be considered brokenly OP simply because of the awful state of supports at the moment, but her ultimate is actually the best in the game out of every role, and we all know how sojourn is right now. JQ was also broken during the beta so the nerfed her like they were taking a crowbar to her knees. it's actually crazier to think ramattra will be balanced at launch, given the data from all the past experiences we have telling us the exact opposite.
