One thing that’s becoming increasingly clear. If you “order” a RAV4 Hybrid or Prime the dealers have absolutely no idea if or when that vehicle will be delivered. Not a criticism of the dealers, just an observation.
You missed the big story. The Prime drives completely differently from the standard RAV4 and Hybrid. It's a whole different car. For example, it's quicker than a BMW X3, and it has a spunky turning radius. The sport seats make a real difference and allow for a slightly lower seating position. This thing is fun to drive in a way that standard RAV4s aren't. It even sounds better. Tell your customers to drive the car, and they will come back with smiles on their faces and their checkbooks open.
Downsized and traded in my 23 Tundra SR5 and got the exact same model in your video review today, unfortunately it doesn't have kick sensors. nice review
what's up with the display? it was an 9 inch in 2022, 10.5 inch in 2023 and back down to an 8 inch in 2024? downgrade in features but upgrade in price..
Thank you for all your videos. I’ve got weird car phobia and have a 2009 rav4, 80k miles, that’s it! Im intimidated by the car buying process, so these videos are helping me get educated before I go to a dealer. Im leaning towards a hybrid. I just saw a video where a guy customized his entire car, LED lights interior, etc. a lot to think about.
what part of cars are you fearful of? actually driving them? because your milage seems low for that model year. or is it the purchasing of a vehicle? all the stuff and fluff that comes with haggling, negotiation, and what not is it the legal stuff, like license renewal. the inspection stickers, the maintenance and upkeep? the gas, oil, transmission fluid, rock that chipped the windshield, the jumping of the battery or replacing it, the replacing of the engine coolant, the tires being kept up to pressure or replacing them? all the endling maintenance costs, in addition to the finance costs, and the insurance costs? theres SO MANY things that are annoying about car up keep, but also things to be safe about driving, or even keen with car purchases that "car phobia" glosses over the different aspects as if its all one in the same. being good with money might mean car purchases isnt a concern being handy means upkeep isnt an issue being a defensive driver means you wont worry about idiots on the roadway. but those 3 categories are all aspects of being a car owner. you gotta upkeep it, pay for it, and be alert for dumb drivers.
I have the se and it's missing soon many features that the xse does. When I got my se the xse premium was 75k usd with markups so I was not doing that so I got the se. They literally force the xse on you.
Dumb question - does combined horsepower mean Ive got 302hp all the time regardless of if Im in hybrid, gas, or full electric mode or do I only sometimes have 302hp?
I suspect the hole “ordered “ thing is a bit of a fake, I suspect if a vehicle arrives that matches your preferred, you get a call. I was waiting on a supposed “list” with a Toyota dealer for 20 months for a RAV4 Prime . I believe the dealerships have no idea what’s coming to them until shortly before a truck arrives with a load. Not sure what’s happening with Toyota, love the brand but …
Last video i saw of 2024 rav4 Regular hybrid had a nee speedometer design of digital speedometer with 2 separate Round meters...now they again went back to ugly 1 Round Meter in center ?
This is what I want to know. I find conflicting info on-line. Some sites saying it comes stand in SE and some sites saying you can add as an option. I'd really like to know.
@kevincorcoran5610 as the person taking the video does not show this view of the passenger seat whereas shows all other views from the other sides, I'm pretty sure it hasn't got electric passenger seats.
I wish they worked on the refinement. It’s still a noisy vehicle with busy suspension. Also, interior materials still feel cheap. Given the price, Toyota should do better .
I'll keep my 2018 Rav hybrid until Toyota fires whoever designed the "Openmouth Bass" front end look of the current Toyota lineup, including this oooogleee RAV prime SE.
Interior looks and feels like a poverty car. Shame on Toyota not even trying to keep up with competition and rely only on their historical reliability reputation
But it still looks great. Plus, another year means my new '23 Limited hybrid will still be the newest style for at least another year. That makes me very happy.

Hi Marcello , so if I ordered a Rav 4 prime today how long of wait would you guess?
12-15 months would be my answer
@@ToyotaWorld12 to 15 months from now would most likely not be a 2024.
Is that for SE? I heard they make more xse
how do trade ins even work then?
in that time frame, thats a SIGNIFICANT amount of mileage that would be added to trade in car.
Would love the stereo to sound better.

You featured a 2024 Prime SE in October on your channel. So I don’t understand how this video is a First Look at the 2024 model?

Np. Hybrid is way to go. Cheers

Just got one yesterday 🙌 interesting how various people are saying they’re having trouble finding one. My dealer had 3… guess I’m just lucky
Hi, where can I still get one?
any news on Land Cruiser for Canada eh to share?
Dumb question - does combined horsepower mean Ive got 302hp all the time regardless of if Im in hybrid, gas, or full electric mode or do I only sometimes have 302hp?
I wonder if they still keep the spare tire in the trunk in 2024 or they remove it?
They kept it
So envious! Ordered ours 6 months ago and looks like 1-2 more years of waiting...😢

You can change it 😂. It’s digital
@@joes4545 change what ?? It will still remain in center only 1 meter...insrard of 2 separate meters side by side.....write full sentence not half
Love that colour!
power seat on passenger side ?

The only one I dislike is the screen is toooooo small.
There's absolutely no point in increasing the number of Prime models until/unless Toyota DRAMATICALLY increases production of existing models.
Got mine 2024 just end of Dec. I asked why not 2023. Dude didn’t say anything back lol
I’ll go for the basic ravioli 4 le

Lol your 2018 is by far one of the ugliest cars ever 😂😂
@@Elxchino323 This could be true. But, its no new cost as opposed to $44k.
I need this I hate Le lol
Nice car but not the price
How many kiss

Ikr? I am leaning towards Tucson hybrid phev because of this trash interior

No redesign for 2025..its expected in 2026.
Camera is held Tooo close to the dash to really see anything.......Please learn how to shoot videos..........P_aul
