Best badminton tutorial, I understand them very thoroughly unlike the other tutorials, hence why I only watch their badminton content and don't watch other youtubers.
besides the great technical advice, this video has to rank among the top youtube videos for percentage of viewers who watched the entire sponsor promotion. clever and entertaining and surfshark must be loving it
I must say, the sponsor integration alongside making a point is amazing. Ensures less chances of folks skipping it. The outtakes must've been hilarious.
Great channel Greg and Jenny! I played at a decent standard as a teen but forgot so much. Now my daughter has started playing and your content helps me support her. Thank you so much. I’d love more tips and fun games for development of junior players. P.S. it was super exciting to bump into you both at Parkrun this week
Hahaha! We hope you didn’t ruin your parkrun time too much 🤣 thanks for stopping to say hello! And it’s amazing to hear that, hope you can get back into it yourself too ☺️ we’ll add it to the video list!
At my age parkrun times just seem to go backwards anyway🤣 Hoping to get back into it so I can play a bit of doubles with my daughter one day. Just trying to sort out my shoulder with some of your early exercise and stretching videos. Thanks once again for all your great content!
I was quite suprise that you guys weren't able to post a video last sunday, you guys must be busy which is understandable. I wanna get strong and this video will definitely be helpful. Looking forward on the next video. 😁
Thank you so much for all the videos!. Tomorrow, I have my tournament, and I'm a bit scared. But surely confident, thanks especially for the video 4 SIMPLE Ways To Improve Your Defence, which I am not quite good at. Thanks again ☺
Chassee: There is a large variety of chasses across many dances. Variations include: The direction may be sideways, diagonal or even curving. Sizes of steps may vary. This also concerns the second, "Together", step: the moving foot may land right beside the standing foot or leave some space, or even barely move from its previous position.
Hello from Thailand Greg and Jenny. Great video as always. Could you perhaps make a video about how to come back from an injury or things to do to prevent an injury ? I'm currently injured from playing badminton and i'm not sure how to come back into playing badminton as soon as possible safely. Thank you
You guys are really.helpful i have onky began playing but ever since i started watching you guys i have imorove alot, but i have s question is kumpoo a good brand if so why do i see no players or people playing with them are they considered a bad brand?
Ngl best tutorial, im currently preparing for my tournament tmr and im tryna find out if i can win agains national players with my 6 months of expeirence and my fake racket lol
Glad we can help! You can do training in the gym to improve your jumps - we have badminton specific gym programmes if you want to check them out: badminton-insight.com/badminton-specific-weights-programmes/ 😊
Hello badminton insight, I have a question about fitness. My knees have been hurting alot for a few weeks now, how can I help with the pain and make my knees stronger?
Hi Greg and Jenny, a question on service rules / technique If a right handed player while serving from odd court holds shuttle well inside the even court and hits the shuttle (both feet are in odd court), is that allowed? Wouldn’t such serve give an undue advantage if allowed?
That’s allowed, but why would it give you an advantage? To hit it like this, you would have to lean quite a lot… so your opponent would just hit it cross-court back to the odd side and you’d struggle to get it!
You forgot #6, when you're so late you're full sprint running to the shuttle and do a hail Mary backwards underarm. Typical shots are - whatever manages to get over the net when if you connect.
Interesting. You've missed out the simple run backwards which I think is not coached enough in badminton - there is too much reliance of chasse, and chasse I feel should be an adjustment step. If I play a medium to tight net shot and the opponent lifts I find the fastest way to reach the rear of either the forehand or round the head corner is to run, and at the age of 51 I am still able to do this regularly. I am unable to use a the chasse so effectively when travelling the full length of the court. In every day life if someone is a bit late for a bus we never see them try to catch it by using a chasse, they always run, because running is simply faster. Any thoughts?
i have a question when i play badminton i always play without any idea of where to hit and where to not i mean i dont have any plans.. but i also dont know if it is necessary to have a plan while playing badminton
Can you also make a vedio on how to not allow your opponent to hit to that position like put your opponent out of position so they can't hit hard shots
Hi is anyone ask you guys this before? Can I have 1 racket even if it's old I'll take it I'm from the Philippines I want to be good at playing badminton like you guys I hope you notice me thanks❤ (and I love your videos)

Hey Jenny and Greg. What camera you are currently using?
Hello badminton insight, I have a question about fitness. My knees have been hurting alot for a few weeks now, how can I help with the pain and make my knees stronger?
Should i use overhead shots in the backhand corner or should i use backhand pls respond
