No it needs a lubricant like grease you use wd40 to break things loose that are rusty or gummed up. Wd40 will cause it to rust more if you use it as a lubricant because it will attract more moisture

That is super dangerous. Some idiot could fall off. If you fell forward, something like a finger might get stuck between the bars. Also it seems to frustrating considering you have to push yourself half the time.

The rides too flat and the rollers are too resistant. I thought something was off when you were able to stand on the rollers while positioning yourself on the mat. That and the fact that you had to keep pulling the sides to maintain.
Tbh,that actually looks kinda fun,but also terrifying because it's right next to the woods,that's probably why there was a ladder half way through,just in case something is there
they're usually made for little kids, not a full grown man. I remember how much fun I had with these in Okinawa, the trick would be to squat down on your feet and push yourself along to add more speed though not pushing was fine too
All the comments about WD-40... WD-40 is not a lubricant, it evaporates after a few days, it's for un-sticking seized parts. What you want is some white lithium grease spray, or dry lube like graphite dust.
You would definitely need a system where you could plumb some lubrication lines to the rollers, and the rotation of the rollers will draw the lubricant through.

If the sled was made of dense ABS plastic this would be a lot more fun. At the landing they could transition from astro turf to rubber to stop seeing as if breaking on those rollers would be near impossible.
You know the kid who had this slide idea, stole it from the child labor factory he was a part of that featured multiple rolling conveyor beds for the factory products he helped toil to make.
I think the problem was in large part due to the rider braking on the initial downhill sections. he lost all the momentum that should have carried him through the bits where he was stopping. the same thing would happen on any world-class roller-coaster. that's why it's called a roller-*coaster*
