Yeah, Some people (i think like you) are scared of these rides and that’s very understandable. The most of these rides are made to let the people feel some thrills and to let them feel differences between g-forces wich you normally don’t feel. But it’s not dangerous like you can die or get hurt.
It's not "California and Valencia", it's Valencia, California. I live here and worked at Magic Mountain in the late 1970s. The biggest danger there was the employee cafeteria.

@@ccb3519 you mean The Smiler? Yes tehre was one accident in 2015, but that was due to operator error, so not the rides fault. Something like this could have happened at any ride. Merlin upgraded their standards in operator training and the coaster has been completely safe since then.
The smiler is literally the only ride on this list to have any sort of serious accident. And even so, no one died and the safety standards were improved. It’s had no problem since then.
Only one of these rides has even caused injury before, though. All the others have perfect safety records. Also, say the name of the rides themselves, not just the park it’s at.

The title is very misleading. None of these are dangerous just thrilling. Maybe try to make the titles more reliable like “Top 10 most thrilling attractions in the world”

@@mooniethemew they put people in one cart and the other was empty. They did a test run with the empty cart and it got stuck, then they sent the cart with people in it and it hit the other cart. This ride was dangerous but after that accident nothing really happened.
Yeah. The (long) drive to the themepark has a way higher likelyhood of killing you than any ride at a themepark so calling an intense and extreme ride dangerous is just stupid.

the only way these rides would be dangerous is if you went on with a heart condition or neck problems or back . not for the faint of heart, people with extreme Anxiety probably should avoid riding .

I rode The Smiler at night, and it made all the difference. The flashing lights, optical illusions and crazy sounds really came into their own in the dark. I was disoriented as all hell. It was awesome.
Yeah, this is what I was about to comment until I see yours, The Smiler is not dangerous at all (I've never been on it since I don't live in the UK, but I hope one day I'll have the opportunity to ride it^^ It looks sooo fun!)
The only reason why accidents occurs is because of 2 reasons, in The Smiler’s case and Ride Of Steel, it was human error, that being the park and the ride crew or the ride crew and the rider that was ejected. The other case is poor design by the manufacturer, such as Fireball or Son Of Beast.
I just noticed midway through my ears bleeding to this music that this vid is so old AND what was 😮 impressive to me AT FIRST GLANCE was me seeing the speeds & thinking in mph terms. 🤦🏻♀️ Yesterday I went to Kings Island & got to ride in the front car of Orion, 304ft initial drop & 91 mph! Yea, I wore my sunglasses because after I was strapped into this monster ….on the way up I forgot I even had them on. The ride never slows down so when we stopped I realized my glasses were pasted to my face, lol!!! Super smooth awesome ride!! 10/10 🎉

I am gonna say it... The Gravitron is the best.. Except when the thing behind you doesn't go up... Which has happened to me numerous times, I am just there yelling at the top of my lungs to the guy in the center to make mine go up and he doesn't hear me.

If the coaster would brake down a ton of saftey mechanism are put in place. For example, the brakes used on roller coasters are ALWAYS turned on (This includes power shortages) until the train passes them and the highly advanced computer system decides there is no need to brake. (Brakes are put in multiple locations on the track to make sure no trains come to close to eachother, or just to trim the speed) The computer make this decisions thanks to hundreds of sensors scatter around the track, and if any single one detects any kind of problem or just them not agreeing the computer will stop the ride. A sensor being overly sensitive is perhaps the most common reason a coaster stop, and it's often referred to as a ride brake down. And if it wasn't enough the ride operator can stop the ride at any given point of time, and the coaster will come to a safe stop. With or without riders in it. Omgggg Oblivion, Dive Machine G3, SheiKra, Griffon, Dive Coaster, Diving Coaster, Krake, Oblivion the Black Hole, Baron 1898, ValravN, Draken, Valkyria, Western Regions Heaven and Yukon Striker are SUPERRRR dangerous because they do the holdy thing, I don't care if the company that makes that model has a perfect track record
B&M (the manufacturer of most if not all of the coasters you've listed) is the most reliable manufacturer a park can buy from and i don't think a park would invest millions of dollars into a ride that is unsafe.
