Already got about 7 hours in on this today. I absolutely love it!
This game is sort of a puzzle..
You complain about certain challenges like the Big Gnarly dungeon (where every attack does 9999 damage) but havent released that dungeon (and many like it) is a puzzle how to get through.
There is an ability that prevents you from recieving more than 1/3 of your max health (upgradeable to 1/6 even) if you equip that the dungeon is a breeze.
Its not a bullet hell. The dungeon is a puzzle.
Severed by them was great.
Review makes the game sound like FF3: You 'can' make all these cool class/party choices, but the mechanics are too restrictive.
Also Newgrounds... rip Flash, good thing they spent so much time getting their video converter working, hopefully the game emulators continue to gain interest and improve.
8hrs in I've never seen anything like it but absolutely loving it! Reminds me abit of Binding of isaac
I got buyers remorse just not my kinda game i guess everyone else likes it

I agree with your score. Personally, I would give it a 7.0. Played it on pc but didn’t really jive with me. Might buy it on Switch to grind on the go.
