On 1vs1, but as a top 0.2% orochi and main, i can fight orochis comfortably; however, on dominion if your team is bad orochi is useless. Orochi is pretty bad against very defensive players too.
@@vsm_dracarys6282 yes I agree but he is also an assassin I think Orochi is a top 12-10 hero but he has nowhere near the best. But I do not think it’s controversial to say he’s a little bit broken or OP however, like I said, he’s nowhere near the best in the game
Started playing a bit of conq (i still have to find my main im constantly searching and getting bored) and he really needs a rework. I love the fashion and executions and everything, but his heavies barely do any damage
I ended up finally quitting For Honor this year, which honestly i didn't wven want to do but i feel like most characters have lost the thimgs that made them feel unique and different, no it feels like most heros have a 2 hit combo with a blue and orange attack thrown into the kit somewhere Maybe when the new hero gets revealed he'll bring back my desire to play but as of now, the game feels like a hollow shell of its former self Also Ubi please give us actual new armor not re-skins, or at least stop using the same set to re-skin
I'm ngl man I'm sorry to hear you feel that way. I've come back after basically only knowing what it was like early in it's life cycle, maybe year 2 at the latest. To me it seems like a whole new world of fun counterplay mechanics to learn and actually not just get shit on, after playing Tekken 7 for a few good months and actually realizing what it takes to play a fighting game. Not that For Honor is purely a fighting game either, and that's what I think makes it even more interesting to decipher and learn. I think in terms of hero variability yeah there's little to none. Some just feel fun to play because i learn them earlier than others, some dont cause I still don't really understand them. So I recently just decided I'd make myself lose till I start having fun with a hero. If the hero not give dopamine it means I probably not good enough yet. Something like that. So anyways as a guy who owns all but marching fire and has played all of em, new heroes are just new dog, old tricks. Is this terrible? Not personally, but it does mean I just end up playing whatever doesn't feel too bad to play (basically anything that isn't conq) and just have fun with it. None of the heroes really stick out to me as "my main" and it isn't really necessary for me cause even in Smite, League, and Dota, a cumulative maybe idk 5k hours between them all, I don't have mains. I just never want to do one thing, so currently For Honor is fine if there's no "uniqueness" for me, because I just enjoy the core gameplay mechanic loop. Block, Light, Parry, Heavy, Unblockable, Undodgeable, Hyper, Crushing Counter, Dodge, Dodge Cancel, Feint, Soft Feint, Advanced Light, Extended Dodge, etc. Don't matter too much who can do what or how or when, I just play the heroes that feel like I can do things that get the job done without too much effort. Which means I basically play them all, I think effort is relative in For Honor cause every opponent is different as well.
I'm going to echo @michaelcarver5994 's sentiment here I just got back into the game after not playing since y4 and it has been great. Fights are so much faster and aggressive play is the norm now. I remember when winning basically hinged on who could turtle/parry the best. At the time when I quit new characters were being introduced as well as reworks put out that started to emphasized more read based attacks rather than fully reactable movesets. This started out fairly slowly though and it didn't feel great to have a large portion of the roster that just couldn't keep up to a select few. Now there are still characters in the game that are busted, but it feels like you are playing against an opponent now and matters less about the specific character match up. Sure more characters have similar moves like a dodge attack of some kind but that is such a good thing. Conq needs a rework ngl they cooked when they gave him an undodgeable. All they needed to do was fix the animations. Its so sad seeing conq get reworked like 2-3 times and the one with the zone block is the least problematic
Orochi just has an amazing offensive and evasive moveset and has both undodgable and unblockable attacks, on top of a bash. Not the best bash ever, granted. But his toolkit is very strong. If you're absolutely cracked and can react to and parry him reliably then you shouldnt have that much trouble. I just can't fathom how Glad and Pirate are dogshit duelists cause they fuck my shit up alot. And I have a 200ms reaction time so I don't think I should be struggling that hard.
It is purely animation. Glad is easy hero to fight if you can react to animations and orange, but if you cant, its actually a strong hero. Same for pirate. Parry flash is much harder to do as you'll need to be hyper focused.
@@SolidSol69 Ok I'll have to go into training grounds and see what the animation looks like once it reaches the point of no return. For Glad I want to say he really LUNGES into you with the trident when he is gonna throw it through. Thanks.

Did something change since orochis last buff rework a couple years ago? I don’t ever remember seeing orochis in tourneys n stuff. Why all of a sudden he’s S tier? Thought he was A tier at most
I have 22 reps on Aramusha and can confidently say, he is absolute dogshit, I liked him back when he had to go top light if he chained lights and had faster side heavies, back then you'd get punished for just spamming lights and you could actually use the quick heavies to mix in lights, heavies, soft lights and actually have a decent time playing, he was still a worse berserker with 0 hyper armour, but he felt playable, he's felt like ass to play ever since the rework, also his full block is worthless, the small timing makes it a worse parry, since you can feint a parry attempt, but you get easily punished for full blocking, it doesn't even do any significant damage to justify how risky it is. They just made him clunkier and slower with no real benefit, ring the bell from heavies was not worth the massive slow down of his kit
Came back to for honor the whole game changed and am not sure if its for the better instead of balancing they gave up and removed a bunch of moves that made the characters unique
Orochi should just straight up be gutted at this point I literally don’t care about any of the orochi players just completely nerf the character into the ground
8:35 they alternate gender every hero, not everything is historically accurate and never has been and doesnt need too either. People need to shut up on the DEI stuff. I dont think monks were teleporting, romans weren't fighting the Samurai and Mongolians, flintlocks dont have infinite ammo, etc etc. A slight historical inaccuracy will not end you bro
4vs4 Ranked? Where when 😂 1vs1 Ranked , 3000 latency above diamond + 1000 of videos on scripts FH and competitive . Counter Strike 1.6 from year 2000 have better protection and competitive gameplay.
Genuinely, the thing that made me quit For Honor after coming back was Orochi. I was having a good time playing the Highlander rework, but Orochi being in every single game was just making me too frustrated with the game.
Theres 2 categories for myself personally as its important to define this. High level players in mm are just players who understand most of the fundamentals of for honor to be a good player but execution is not consistent. Comp level players are a cut above the rest because they practice the most optimal setups and know the ins and outs of every variable in competitive games.
Shugo at most, high B tier. Compared to the rest of the roster, he's easy to counter. Neutral bash is easy to dosge, lights are relatively easy to parry, heavies have some of the worst hyper armor in the game compared to other heroes,; only thing hes got going is his variable timed heavies but even then those are easy to parry. Most characters can out trade him with how extensive other heroes combos are with Shugo throwing 2 heavies and waits. Simply too easy to apply pressure on him
One thing I love about this game is once you think you are at your max skill you learn something new to add to your experience. Keep in mind I’m relatively new. Rep 25 overall on PS5 and Xbox. Switched over to. PS5.
Honesty just let slanderous cook for a testing grounds or two he has some crazy good ideas, if it works out, let him in on more stuff so the game is actually fun
Pirate at S tier is hilarously dumb lmaoo. She feeds so much revenge, does almost no damage and her pin is just bad. She's just a decent staller with dodge recoveries and feats, she's a worse tiandi in every way how the hell is tiandi below her is mind baffling
Ya know, strong in real life or in the actual media doesn't equal it being as strong in the game Like in Dragon Ball Fighterz, UI Goku is a low tier in that game
@@sbevenine2055Sure, but it shouldn't equal it being weak either... Like comon, we can make that argument both ways. But hey I do like to see LB players kicking my butt every now and then. It's rare but some people play him very well.

Everyone has to have imposter syndrome nowadays to fit in. That’s an incredibly new term everyone - not everyone has it
love your channel!
My impatient ass can't play against anybody faster than conq lol
4vs4 Ranked? Where when 😂
1vs1 Ranked , 3000 latency above diamond + 1000 of videos on scripts
FH and competitive .
Counter Strike 1.6 from year 2000 have better protection and competitive gameplay.
i've been maining shamen for the past week or so and i'm a rep 4 with her now. i honestly think she's complete shit, but still fun.
Anyone know what song is playing at 47.29?
You love that Witcher 3 song don't you?
Genuinely, the thing that made me quit For Honor after coming back was Orochi. I was having a good time playing the Highlander rework, but Orochi being in every single game was just making me too frustrated with the game.
How do you lose to roach with all that hyperarmor lol
@@manz7860 gosh golly you’re right man! I should be defeating every single roach with my unbeatable hyper armor!

Am i the only one who doesn't care about ganking gamemodes and plays only duels?
Duel and brawls are all I play
What is "high lvl players"? FH has no mmr system, how do you decide that player A is high rank and player B is casual or something?
Simply too easy to apply pressure on him
This list proved to me that “high level” players are either not that good or have little imagination lol
Or that imagination doesn’t work in a setting where you have 125ms reaction monsters.
facts
450ms 💀
One thing I love about this game is once you think you are at your max skill you learn something new to add to your experience. Keep in mind I’m relatively new. Rep 25 overall on PS5 and Xbox. Switched over to. PS5.
@@HigherDarkness true.
4 big guys
Nubu in A?
for honor enjoyable uhm idk man
Kensei SSS Tier
You cannot change my mind.
God Kensei, God Warden, God LBs, God Cents, just feels like there's no options because they have clairvoyance.
Honesty just let slanderous cook for a testing grounds or two he has some crazy good ideas, if it works out, let him in on more stuff so the game is actually fun
Slanderous ☠️
Proud, annoying ass, 4v4 pirate player here
Pirate at S tier is hilarously dumb lmaoo. She feeds so much revenge, does almost no damage and her pin is just bad. She's just a decent staller with dodge recoveries and feats, she's a worse tiandi in every way how the hell is tiandi below her is mind baffling
This is for the highest tier of play.
@@knightmare1267 Yes at the highest pirate sucks does nit damage, feeds insane revenge and her pin is way too slow.
For Honor balancing is whack, the pollaxe user with the heaviest armor is the lowest tiered character.
Ya know, strong in real life or in the actual media doesn't equal it being as strong in the game
Like in Dragon Ball Fighterz, UI Goku is a low tier in that game
@@sbevenine2055no?
@@sbevenine2055Sure, but it shouldn't equal it being weak either... Like comon, we can make that argument both ways.
But hey I do like to see LB players kicking my butt every now and then. It's rare but some people play him very well.
As an orochi main his whole point is to dodge attack and every sweat parries every dodge attack giving a free heavy even when i predict they parry my lights 😢
If fucking play the whole game believing a characters soul purpose is to utilize dodge attack at every possible corner. Then you need to stop drinking low doses of rat poisoning with your nightly lobotomy, yank NOT pull your head straight out your ass AND PRESS OTHER BUTTONS. If you keep spamming the same stupid predictable shit even the most amateur of the average player base will use those little blueberry cheeks of yours as a MOP FOR THE HORSE PEN.
any hero i main is an S tier
Orochi was literally the only remaining hero that allowed the use of a brain, prob gonna change that soon
Lol sure
So Orochi is is the best hero in the game better then Shinobi, Afeera, Highlander, VG, Shaolin, Ocelotl, BP, Kyoshin,Tiandi? Gtfoh

The fact that the best players and huge percentage of the community says that his the best, while you're thinking everyone else is wrong is delusional as fuck lmao
Yeah they should just remove anything that has any kind of skill to it. We already removed half the cool rewarding moves in the game like Orochi heavy deflect etc. We should just do those "skilled" players that still play this crap a favour and remove everything besides the r1, r2 circle key and dodge attacks so they can finally have this fun skill based game that they want for so long. Also lets make a katana swing as fast as a greataxe... oh wait we already did that years ago
Pirate is D
this game fucking sucks
