one of the reasons Chinese guys have to work hard is the great financial burden on our shoulders, except for those who are from rich family. We want to have an "easier" job, but we have limited choices of "luxury". It's not just in Beijing, people in the provinces you mentioned in the video(I am from one of the provinces you mentioned, but we still have to work hard, and we earn less money than people in Beijing, while the apartment price is also crazy) also have great financial burdens!!!!
As a doctor, I wanna say, the healthcare system is not that expensive, but the thing is that the health insurance coverage does not cover some very expensive medicine/instruments.
Hobbies, is always what I struggle to write in my English CV, lol. No time for hobbies.

+C Sun yep its always hard work in China. Too many people, too competitive. I can understand why there's no time for fun, especially for guys when the girls ask for financial stability as well

We have a joke saying the easiest time in our life is when we were in kindergarten (but i guess nowadays, kids in kindergartens also have to start compete against each other).
I wish I could have more chances to learn more different skills/things when I was a kid (but my family was not that rich to send me to those extra-school classes). Now I feel that I have no advantage in such a competitive world.
And in China, it is not the just girls ask for financial stability, but also their parents. lol

+C Sun yeah I know Chinese like to tell me they would want to go back to childhood again, but don't think that's fun in modern China in big cities now either, too competitive

Even in middle size cities (though they would be called big cities by people outside China, lol), it is also too competitive.

Problem with chinese people generally really competitive due to the amount of people living in one area. Pressure from their parent is also a factor and peers. Chinese people just cant stop comparing which is bloody annoying.

Not all Chinese men are good to your expectation so others cultures...but I think we are more well discipline especially for rural area. .What we truly believe when come to family matter is making sure your spouse and children well taking care. I'm not saying all Chinese men that way by all means. I'm sure many of you had a bad experiences with Chinese men.

      大体就是大城市的中国男人工作时间比较长,因为生活压力较大,小一些城市会好一些。另外中国男人不像国外那样花大把时间和朋友社交。中国男人的两大重点就是工作和家庭。说的蛮客观的。
