Tis is the inetrview that possibly nailed Huntley also Carr says Holly was upset she didnt get the job on last day of term, yet Huntley claimed the girls asked him "Did Miss Carr get the job" when he saw them.
But the Sky news interviewer referrred to them in the past tense also so I dont think any relevance can be taken.

Yeah I mean he used the past tense because she was no longer a teaching assistant to them. So she simply could had used the past tense because she was no longer in her class. I think the whole past tense theory has been blown out of perspective.

I genuinely think he was such a good manipulator and liar she just thought he was innocent… I was shocked that the police officer who ask searched the school asked for the hanger to be opened and he said he didn’t have the key!!! WTF surely you wld go to the head and ask for it to be opened, if he wld hv moved the evidence there was a good chance he would not have been convicted of murder but a lesser charge and in there right mind wld think being asked “how long does DNA last” and “how do they check for DNA” not be a huge red flag to a p officer!!!

I noticed that when watching the news way back when. I thought it was a bit odd as both girls were only classed as missing at the time. I just thought she'd already made up her mind that they were dead just as many people did (myself included). Haunting to think about looking back.

Honestly, that seems like an easy "mistake" to make. She could have just figured that they were dead without actually knowing, which is a reasonable assumption given how missing persons cases with similar characteristics usually turn out, especially considering the fact that 11 whole days had passed at that point. It also would have been reasonable to talk about them in the past tense simply because they had completely vanished from that community, even if they could have still been alive somewhere else. Her use of the past tense was not reliable proof of anything at all, but of course the media was eager to pounce on it and blow it out of proportion because it boosted their story.

This could be explained as MC talking about when she was a class assistant to Holly and the period the card related to and a past tense is set by _"she was very upset"_ Also, many people do not use perfect grammar. It may have been that, MC believed the girls must be dead and that IH was not involved, or was in suspicious denial of IH involvement, or knew IH had killed the girls. It's not conclusive proof of MC protecting IH, knowing he had killed the girls.

What she did was wrong, but her lying (intentionally or not) didn’t cause the girls death. They were already gone. People jump on this interview as definitive proof she knew, even though it’s completely reasonable for an ex-teacher to refer to ex-students in the past tense. When people try to explain the abuse and manipulation Ian objectively subjugated her to for years beforehand, they claim she “wanted” or “allowed” it. As I said, what she did was wrong, but it’s pointless arguing about whether she did or didn’t know at whatever point in time. This might be controversial, and she clearly deserved to be jailed, but lets get real for a minute and face the facts, this woman had NOTHING to do with the poor girls deaths and didn't even know what had happened or believed Huntley had done it, which is why I assume she gave him the alibi which was her only crime in this, in the video of her being told he had done this, the shock, hurt, pain, anger, everything else was clearly visible in her actions..... I suppose we have to remember as sick as the c*nt was, until this he was just your average person who she was in love with and someone she never thought could have done what he had..... Does anyone know if she was aware of the murders (despite this video which doesn't actually say anything of her knowledge to the crime if you ask me, its just terms of expression she was using, and most people had assumed the poor girls fate by then....) but anyway shoot me if i'm wrong (unless you can get to Huntley, in which case shoot him, twice, one in the cock and one in the eye, let the twat suffer in jail all his days if you ask me) .....but I remember the venom and hate myself and the country had over this woman, and i'm just thinking over it now and was she in some ways a victim too? She wasn't like Myra Hindley, Rose West, as far as I know, she had no murderous desires, she had no knowledge this was going to happen, she had no knowledge he had done it until the police told her...... I can see how many people could feel sorry for her more than want to kill her too
Put yourself in her shoes, your partner does that, it had NOTHING to do with you at all, but you agree to give them an alibi of sorts saying they were somewhere at a certain time, not knowing it was to actually cover up that they had committed a crime.....I think if she had known he had done this, she would have rightfully grassed him up..... thoughts?

Yes you are correct, if people _bothered_ to read the FACTS of the case she was giving him an alibi because he had a previous rape on file and didn't want the extra attention by police and having their house turned over etc, her covering for him isn't based on the understanding by her that he'd committed the murders.

At my old job I worked at a sheltered housing unit and one of the residents used to have a cleaner come in fortnightly and I swear it was Maxine Carr but an older version what she would look like now. Her height, her face, voice all matched same. Then one day I couldn't take it so as she was walking up corridor I whispered loudly ' maxine' and I'm sure she slightly turned her head left but stopped herself continuing to walk to residents flat.

J F She was no victim, she knew exactly what he had done hence her receiving jail time, she provided a false alibi, dragging the agony of the families looking for their little girls for even longer , even after they were jailed she still professed her undying love for a child rapist and murder, she is pure evil and you clearly have issues for defending such a vile excuse of a human!

J F oh and believe me when I tell you if I bumped into her I would do something! She deserves to be terrorised for the rest of her days not tucked up in a safe house with a new identity, the pain and heartache Jessica and Hollys family must suffer every day, that thing does not deserve a moments peace. Wow why would she lie when police asked where he was slime ball ( Huntley) why would you protect, when two angels went missing! Thats why the government protect her because we all know she's full of shit! I know SW say she was vulnerable being with him but if it was there kids they wouldn't be so understanding!!!! She knew simple as. My partner asked me to say i was with him when two little girls went missing! He would be missing out my life full stop! I ain't black and white! Some things ain't to understand, some things you don't just do!!! That being an ultimate one. Children you don't lie when a children have gone missing.

Huntley had previously been arrested for rape, he was well aware of how important police rely on forensics, that’s why he cleaned the house (even though he was known for being a slob) there’s nothing to suggest that Carr told him to burn the bodies.

The hilarious thing is this eejit watermarking footage that he has no claim to, but in doing so just ensures that if anyone else tries to "steal" it they just reproduce proof that the guy has no brain; can't spell, and doesn't know how copyright or related law works. "Here, go spread this proof that I'm an idiot!"
