I've always believed a joke well delivered is a joke well received. In this I mean if you take the subject of the joke and deliver it with an undertone or just humour in your heart makes all the difference.

The interviewer is Richard Paul Bacon, a guy who was sacked from the BBC children's TV programme for "illicit drug taking." In his case it was cocaine. It seems to me that every time he appears on TV or radio he should apologise for his unacceptable behaviour. Jim Davidson is quite right, you can't apologise every time forever.

I would have turned it right back on Bacon and told him to apologise for his drug use when in a position of responsibility as a role model to young children. There is nothing wrong with taking drugs. If he wants to do that so be it. Richard Bacon was incredible during those days. His slots on tv were always worth the watch. I have a complaint. I was watching one of Jim’s comedy performances on tellly a good few years ago. I laughed so much I gave my self a hernia. I can not believe how irresponsible a person can be to not even consider this possibility. Shocking!
