Idk how many videos I've watched but I'm intrigued every time like the 1st time. To me watching them never gets old! The PERFECTION and PRECISION is in full effect w these guys. I too think their uniforms are an asset to the CALIBER of percussionists they are! They are in my book the BEST IN THE WORLD!
Yo, this is insane!!!😃😃😃 What? These routines are so fire 🔥 🔥🔥🔥🔥. They letting you know they can get down in any cramped space. What???? How are they so flawless???? Yo, I am just so proud of them. Truly.
Lol... 23 haters can't play snare well enough to appreciate how challenging this is with 11. There's much more to snare drumming than how clean your rolls are or how many points you score. This is fire.
For these guys to play in such syncronasity takes a tremendous amount of practice & hard work. They are AWESOME!!! aswell as entertaining. Absolutely BRILLIANT!!! Anyone has any negative comments SHUT YA MOUTH!!! or show here what you are supposedly capable of.
TSDC are absolutely amazing! Love them! The precision is unbelievable, and I love the way those feathers move! Wish I'd seen this live, and can't wait to see them at the Edinburgh Tattoo next August!
Oh my gosh! Superb! How excellent is that! I’m speechless, don’t have any adjectives! haha... just a lot of joy watching them. Such precision excellent!
I love you guy's so much, I sit and watch TH-cam videos for hours and I never get tired of watching you. Keep up the awesome work you do! I really hope that someday I will be able to see you in person. P.S. my daughter is also in drumline and pit.
This is the greatest preservation of "Swiss" drumming style in the world today (of course with some added contemporary flavor). Remember, this was the basis for American drumming due to the fact that early American drummers were a part of units like these in Europe.
I have watched many vids of tsdc, always fascinated yet blown away, but this is definately one of the best! Because there is so little space they totally focus on drumming and that‘s what I love most. In my eyes they sometimes there is just a little bit too much of choreography.
saying they marched DCI and DCA does not mean much. It depends on who they marched for. Academy is not as good as the Blue Devils or Cadets. There is a large skill gap. But I do give these guys credit for keeping up with their drumming.
Why does anyone find a need to come here and complain, or make ignorant remarks? Did anyone force, or convince you to listen since you obviously can do better than all of those drummers. But..do you have a video that shows how smart you are?
Herr Musik Pirat CH you missed my point. Early drummers of American units were Swiss by nature and brought to the colonies as instructors to northeren provinces. By todays standards, this is the preservation of Basle drumming. It's a shame that this style of instruction has been lost in the higher levels of education within the US. The closest thing we have are the West Point Hell Cats and the Williamsburg Old Guard. I have three degrees in percussion, please do not illude I am "wrong as wrong can be".
This routine from Top Secret Drum Corps - Die Tour would have a worthy venue at the Wagner Festspielhaus, Bayreuth am Roten Main, Oberfranken, Bayern, BRD. Wagner specified fireproof construction for a safe venue for WWV 86, after all.
To those of you talking about being dirty, careful. These cats are pulling off a lot of complicated sticking. It's also 12 snares representing the original 12 cantons of Switzerland. When I start seeing you DCI Divas playing and doing the same flash without your scientifically designed 9 snare line. Then we can talk.
If you drop a stick twice you go to prison. Damn this is good!!! Swiss/German time preciseness. Ride their trains and you will know what I'm talking about.

I want to take drum lessons… and I played the drums from the age 8 to 18! Lol

what a mini stage that is
i think its safe to say this was the smallest stage they will ever perform at
Nooe. They played in a bar once. It's on TH-cam
Search top secret drumming for drinks. I was shocked at how cramped they were
As always, awesome guys. Top Secret is TopShelf.
As Swiss...This makes me so proud. Love Top Secret.
True performers. Although you mess up, you keep the show going.
play it on your own and when you don`t drop a drumstick, then you can count how many sticks they drop.
The “blind stick toss”
Is remarkable,Flawless.
Odds are better you’d be struck by lightning vs executing that without dropping a stick!
Killer chops
WOW absolutely terrific. That plays get me in trance, litterally.
I feel so cheap to have not paid to witness that. I also loved seeing Danger Mouse and Penfold. Cheers! from America!

They don't have much room to perform. Even with little room, they're still amazing!

jim edward Wrong as wrong can be! This style is typical for Basle and its "Fasnacht" (carneval) only the Basle drums are missing! :D

Perfection at it's best... The best of the best...
They aren’t really that good, they do look good I will say but they don’t play good

Everything gets better when you add fire
awesome..... just awesome...

@3:43, the second guy closest to the camera missed the drumstick, dropped it, and pulled out a new stick from the drum. LOL

Also at 5:36 HEY LOOK A RANDOM DRUM STICK AT THE EDGE OF THE STAGE!
That's some great drumming
