I've been a drummer for over 50 tears, and even with years more practice, I would never be able to do that. Pardon me, but that was f*cking amazing. I've seen several of their videos and my jaw hangs open every time. Thank you for reacting to this group.
Hi Colby! Thanks for posting this. I’m a fairly new watcher of your videos. I must say I enjoy them very much. I found this one to be particularly incredible! Percussion sure is wonderful in all facets .
This drumline would no doubt bring home the gold in every aspect if it was competing at DCI.This would be the first drumline to receive a perfect 100% score, but they obviously couldn't complete in DCI because they're just a drumline & not an entire drum corp with the rest of the band members. Its already tough enough to become a member of a drumline in a drum corp to begin with, but to do an audition for this group, the skill level has got to be so far out there that you'd have to bring more than just your A game.Only 6% of the guys who tryout to become Navy SEAL's make it through & I'd say it's equivalent to do the same thing here.
They are from my city Basel. Carnival produces hundreds of drummers and these are the best of them. I am told that you can’t afford many mistakes else you will be kicked out.
I just watched the documentary from them th-cam.com/video/vOQGN5hjsTY/w-d-xo.html "the journey to Edinburgh throwback" too bad its in Swiss German .. I do speak Swiss. So you were talking about "how much practice this needs"? In the docu, they said, for the 2009 tattoo in Edinburgh, they practiced 2 years for a 6 minute performance... just to give you guys an idea what it takes.. remember, they're not pros either, its their hobby...
They did have a dropped stick, not talking trash because I’m no better than them not even by a long shot. Perfect show though I catch myself watching this over and over a lot

There needs to be a word for beyond amazing, because this was way beyond that.
Can’t even imagine the hours of practice, and dedication to make that happen and look so effortless. That was badass!!!
They do what no-one else can. Every single time & always on point. Freekin amazing!!!
That was stunning the amount skill and practice must be off the charts.
perfection at its finest
I saw them in the Basel Tattoo few years back, they are Swiss 😜
Watching from the bottom of a Victoria, Australia. 🇦🇺
They're my favorite!! Very disciplined, precision is insane.
that was a jaw dropping experience 🔥🔥🔥
I love drum corp's but I've never seen one that's this tight. They are beautiful to watch and listen to.
All those sticks flying through the air and not a single one dropped! Very impressive!
Have seen Top Secret at the Tattoo twice. Incredible
Best wishes from Oz
Any drummer not impressed should stop telling lies, please. Well done.
F'ing Awesome!
The crazy part is that these dudes all have day jobs, this is just a side gig

Wow um Herr Rosenthal zu zitieren: "DAS WAR SPITZE"
Man I really hope you plan on reacting to some parts of II's from Sleep Token interview on drumeo. The guy is a beast.
