- The world-famous Top Secret Drum Corps took a break from the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo to almost literally burn the house down at Innovation Glasgow 2018 - Drumming for Drinks on 15 August, 2018. You can't get any closer to them in action than this, and yes, that is fire alarm going off at the end of their performance!

8:32 the fire alarm goes off because they were 'smokin'! Bad pun I know but I had to laugh when I caught the sound of the alarm going off!
At 8:00 you can tell the far right ones heart is beating so fast. He's so scared that he couldn't blow out the stick he just put it back while still on fire.
he wasnt the only one sticking it back on fire. blowing out is probably a show element and the pocket supposed to suffocate the fire

Sounded like an off camera band member was reminding him to "just put it in the holder." The holders for the pyro sticks looked like they were specifically designed to extinguish the flames for just that kind of a situation.
There's just something about a tight drum corps that stands your hair on edge and rattles you down to your bones. Great job guys!

Sad thing. I appreciated they had full time jobs AND excelled at the drum line
I was in Drum & Bugle Corp snare line. Shared the field with the likes of The Blue Devils, Santa Clara Vanguard, Garfield Cadets, Bayonne Bridgemen, Madison Scouts, The Kilties, The Crossmen just to name a few. It was the time of my life. These guys are on a whole nother level.

I grew up in ,arching band drum lines. Was in Big 8 @ Marching Chiefs (FSU). These guys are te best there is. Hope they gave em enough drinks!

The problem that I have is that so many people don’t know how much talent these people had. It’s truly disappointing because all people think of is hitting a stick against a clear thing but then you watch this and it’s so much more than that.
I've never heard anyone say its just hitting a stick against a clear thing, drummers are very skilled and play a huge part of the bands timing etc and i think most people know that

I love the commitment to precision by everyone. At 3:12 one of the drummers drops a stick, but he sticks completely to the routine the whole time. It's visible as they make their way out that he never retrieved the dropped stick. I'm sure he got it eventually, but not until the performance was over.
Not sure how I would do with cameras on me either. There's enough pressure with the over the top choreography they have to remember. It's probably second nature/ muscle memory, but focusing on not messing up with a camera on you makes you think too much about it, therefore, mistakes. Was a pretty smooth recovery though.
