@@TooMuchBBQLLC thank you! it’s bad ass man can’t wait to see how it looks. Always have wanted to try the inner like that. I just couldn’t picture the throat part. But it looks like y’all got it.
Thats a great question honestly. We thought about that for awhile but the main issue would've been size. Both the inner and outer box would be too big. We didn't need any more weight on the back end of the trailer. And we would've paid a lot more for the material. Plus we just kind of like how the round firebox looks.
We used some high temp ceramic fiber insulation that we bought on amazon. Rated up to 2400 degrees F. Seems like its usually used in wood stoves and things.
It was called Ready Strip advanced...definitely a little messy. Here's a link. www.amazon.com/Back-Nature-658G1A-Advanced-Varnish/dp/B07JZG7J19/ref=sr_1_3?crid=1SENZOUQYNYLY&dchild=1&keywords=ready+strip+paint+remover&qid=1618610478&sprefix=ready+strip+pai%2Caps%2C192&sr=8-3

Looks awesome guys great job 👍
Thanks!
I'd like to see how you do the layout for mating the firebox to the cook chamber.
Nice
I think I would have just squared off the end of the tank and the firebox and welded them together offset.
Dam cool smoker fellows will you guys load up part 9 and 10 can’t wait to see you guys fire it up
Thank you! Part 9 is coming soon
What is the size of the firebox and internal fire box please?
How much to have one built?
Would you please tell me where you got your insulation thanks
Hey brother it's your barbecue but I just got a question why didn't you just make the Box on the outside it would have been easier
