Thank you for this detailed video! It’s been 30 years since I took Cosmetology in high school, and I haven’t cut hair in over 15 years. This video helped me cut my husband’s hair quick and easy. Now he can be cooler at work, during the Texas summer.

One Minute has to be the best for haircut tutorials. Cut my own hair during the lockdown using the tips from this channel and everyone thought I had got my haircut from a mobile hairdresser. They wouldn't believe that I cut it myself.
I started cutting my son’s hair a couple of years ago during the shutdown and realized that I’m pretty good at it most of the time. 😊 Much better than I was when I was 14 and cut my brothers hair and put bald spots on his head! 🥴 I always watch some of your videos to refresh my memory. I really like this style cut but my son does not. So I will do something a bit longer on the sides today. Thanks for this channel!
As a beginner barber actually its my first day cutting when i first watched this video its very informative and i like the step by step hope you can help more beginner barbers like me. and btw any suggestions in doing the baldline please im struggling to make it symmetric

I started cutting my 2 boys hair during pandemic and I didn't knew I will enjoy it this much. One thing I am still struggling with is fading the transition from top to sides. it looks simple but it isn't. Could you make a video focusing on the different techniques to achieve a smooth transition? I try doing scissors over comb but hairs don't flow through the comb when I move the comb up.

Hi I’m training at the moment in a barber shop and my main struggle is putting the shape in the hair to follow first, can you do a video of finding the shape with every customer and how we do it please? Thankyou so much! Love your work!
Really like this cut. You make it look easier than it is im sure, but im gonna try it. My client (my son) has much longer hair, and has a bit more wiggles than your client. Hints his long thick hair. Fingers crossed. 🤞thanks for the great tutorials.
Thank you. Please don’t spend too much on clippers if you are cutting domestically. Pro clippers are great to use but you can cut hair well with cheap clippers if you follow the steps in the video
I normally just ask the client how long they want it. But also think about how much hair you need left to achieve the style you are planning. This is something you will learn the more cuts you make
Actually , really dope video ! all the tricks were quite same that I love to do !keep it up! and I feel really bad for your clipper, really hate that feeling ! :D
A huge like from me! Nicely explained! I watch TH-cam tutorials, then cut my son's hair. It always ends up looking like chopped. I feel bad and think maybe I am not supposed to be cutting. I am not skilled enough 😏 After watching your video I feel inspired again. I will cut his hair again. Hopefully it turns out better this time☺️😄

@8:42 You cut the guide hair at the crown perpendicularly (instead of elevating your finger to a horizontal position which would increase the hair length toward the back). Was that because Hugo's haircut was long enough to not need that horizontal finger position? In your other crown video, you noted horizontal finger position prevents the crown hair from being too short and sticking up. Thank you! 😃
Well noticed. Hugo's crown naturally lays flat without any help, so I can get away with cutting at 90° to the curve. It's the same with curly hair which recoils so you don't need the extra length to weigh it down.
@@theoneminutebarber Thanks Michael. Curiously, how long is Hugo's front fringe here, and his crown hair? Just bought "Become a Barber with the One minute barber" on Udemy too, excited to get started (to cut my own hair soon)!
