My only complaint about these cars other than the fact that you have to pay to get them is the fact that Eddie’s Skyline has a different hood than the one it had in Underground and it also lacks the Kenwood decal
Maybe they didn't have the rights to put the kenwood logo on there.

The fact that we STILL don't have Eddie's bodykit as an option is ridiculous
December 2022 Mantis attachments for the R34 were found in the files of NFS Unbound. These are exactly the parts from UG2 + that Eddie's car owns.

On a side note, Eddie's Skyline was a real car built to promote NFS Underground. It was created with the help of someone named Craig Lieberman. It was shown off at the SEMA show in 2003.

If you may remember in NFS Heat Eddie’s skyline had a double exhaust tip and now in Unbound a single one.
the original have dual, while NFS 2015 have single.
It's It's worse when you remember that the trailers for NFS Heat showed the car being customised to have that body kit, only for it to not be available at launch.
I'll NEVER understand why they removed the Forged engine options, like I just wanna drive the R34 with the sound of the RB.

@@Chizou20XX tbh Unbound is upgrade and downgrade compared to Heat. the cartoon looks fine but the customization didn’t change not much. kinda sucks we didn’t get the old body kits. they put the freaking speed hunters.

instead they should add veilside kit and more legendary kits,and add more JDM icons like nfsu2 and carbon like the Mitsubishi 3000 and supra and jdms
and some more muscles like like the old Pontiac GTO and the viper 2000 and the movie mustang and a Shelby Cobra
and more sports and exotics like the Koenigsegg agera r and the Lamborghini Sesto elemento fr the movie like a dlc
And more content like bringing back the dino test and real tuning but with old and new cars and more icon features and more realistic effects and people,
If nfs is going by this the lazy way,Forza or Gran Turismo will defeat forever nfs

The thing that messes with me is the Polestar was built by Khyzyl Saleem who is presently the god of aftermarket car art on Art Station (Pretty much professional grade Deviant Art with some Linked In copycat features), and yet you drive it once during the intro in Heat, then you have to complete EVERY story to unlock it. It's the cover car of Heat and you touch it once. Twice if you complete the side objectives. They then made it DLC for Unbound. EA did Khyzyl dirty. I can't blame him for leaving after only working on one title.

I was Fan of his Work before he even appeared in NFS. I loved these Cars to hell... the MADness of these Bodykits is what i loved...
That's why I like the Idea of The Crew Motorfest. Being able to transfer most of your cars into the next game is awesome. Ubisoft seems to have the right ideas currently.

They have a 2F2F type livery for the R34 that you can only get in Motorfest by getting it in The Crew 2. It isn’t exactly like the 2F2F design but it’s close enough
But that makes the progression useless of getting slowly slowly good cars.If you already got a high power car whats the point of playing the game even.
They didn’t give us the option of eddie’s kit in nfs heat. It was a separate vehicle and had less customization than in unbound
The fact you can customize the Polestar in Heat but not this game is crazy

They worked on the artwork promo livery. There's nothing wrong with that.
Unbound's Skyline is missing the Kenwood stickers but got the right exhaust compared to Heat

Good to call EA out on this issue. Forza also has similar issues such as the Porsche 911 Sport Classic that appeared as a paid DLC for the third time after Motorsport 3 and 4 and now Horizon 5 in the car pass. The BMW M3 GTR from Most Wanted is technically not free either as you need an EA Play subscription or Xbox Game Pass (which includes EA Play) to access the car. What’s also strange is after this volume update, the Mercedes Maybach S Class is no longer in your garage if you already owned it, meaning you have to buy the car again to add it back to your garage.
You really think calling them out will do anything? They strive on press regardless of good or bad. Look at how long fifa ultimate team has been slandered yet it constantly makes them so much money.

They removed the sunline racing cwest bodykit as well, but they gave us a liberty walk hood for the car and not the entire bodykit....how tf does that make sense
I am stuck between a rock and a hard place because on one hand I wanna like unbound so bad because it’s supposed to be a successor to heat but in the other hand they have made so many bad decisions that heat is still better by a lot, I just wish that in the next NFS game they don’t separate the story from the online because it really made no sense on Why would I want to grind out all the money to get All of the cars I already bought in the first place in story mode
terms of gameplay, i like heat better. switching day & night somewhat least better than unbound’s calendar thing. even heat’s engine swap somewhat better than unbound.
one issue on unbound is removing Audi lineup.
I found that the Porsche Taycan is a reallly good drifting car when it’s fully upgraded to 392 so it could rival the 350z as a drift car!

What’s even worse is that these cars have been in the games files since launch and pc players have already been able to access them using mods. Literally paying just to have the right to access content you’ve already bought

They should have made mini stories for these like Eddies challenge in NFS 2015

I just notice that the Eddie’s Skyline has not have the Kenwood decal on the top of the NX - Nitrous Express, did anyone notice that? It is sad to see not having the iconic design
Eddie's Channenge (?) from 2015 was really cool, coming from someone whose first game was 2015. It really gave a feeling of history and "the world is bigger than just Ventura Bay" to the game
They even got the body kit on the 350Z wrong just compare the rear bumpers….
FYI, there's a mod called Unbound Remix made by NFSLYY and he added Kenwood decals on the side doors and hood of Eddie's Skyline and also changed the size of the Nitrous Express decal on the hood, basically he did a little tweak to the livery on the car as in Heat and Underground versions. You should try this mod if you are an Unbound player on PC who wants perfection with this car.
Heat deserved better and wasn’t that bad of a game it was just begging for more to be done with it but EA already gave Ghost the boot.

Most Wanted 2005 is still the best NFS game.
For those of you who missed that game, it was the first to have halfway competent police, was the first with an open world free roam format, had some of the best music of any NFS game, and is the game that the famous white and blue BMW M3 GTR E46 came from.
I totally agree with you on mix and match the legend cars but I think EA wouldn't want that to happen with the cars since they are the main icons of NFS since the 2000's
They should’ve gave us Heat’s Corvette (the one with the crazy bodykit) instead of the Polestar.
I think you're wrong about one thing Theo, in Heat you could not customize these cars visually at all (even paint and livery), but you can now in Unbound
I loved the way you unlocked these cars in Heat

The issue with cosmetic dlcs, is this exact game. They would rather hash out a new game every few years then make one good one and support it for a few years. The whole fomo and ftp aspect has ruined gaming.

MagicQ dropped a video about the “focus” of the updates and he was right. In Vol 2 they introduced Rally races, police, and the Maybach. They should’ve introduced a Rally car to go with it instead of the Maybach. In Vol 3 they introduced Link ups, Drift events and the Delorean which doesn’t make sense as a JDM car would’ve been way better imo. And Vol 4 the Porsche volume- which is way better focused than the other volumes. Instead of the Tycan they should’ve introduced the Carrera Gt, that would’ve been pretty hype. Especially if the car could go 235+ with nice handling, a car from MW that could be competitive to the Regera is what was needed not a trash(it sucks) electric car or they could buff it.

I don’t have a new gen console so I’ve resorted to playing this game through game pass on my Xbox one. I don’t even have to be playing it at 4K on actual hardware to realize it’s not worth my money.

Still want cars that aren’t regurgitation multiple times over. Say, the teaser car in the first race in UG1 or Samantha’s Civic after TJ messed it up. Or the blue R34 from the UG2 cut scenes. Or the return of Eddie’s crew. Carbon was underwhelming for character cars.
Or a real return of Eddie and Razor. Not a cop out with voice actors reading a line about them as a tease that never amounts to anything other than a “Easter egg”
Do you want to know the worst part about this? The content has already been in the game since day one, they're just giving you the unlock code for it.

The next need for speed game hopefully should be a combination of nfs underground 1 and 2 , carbon, most wanted 05 and nfs Detroit muscle machines. Just a suggestion from a nfs fan, bring back drag racing, tollbooth, bring back the blacklist, and bring back Rachel, Darius, Caleb and razor and all their crew also etc and the dyno, customization you own garage build your car from the ground up

All this pack does is show us that EA knows that the fans want a successor to Underground/UG2/Most Wanted/Carbon, but haven't pulled the trigger yet because they don't think they've milked the fanbase enough.

yes, but they never gave us the option to apply the kits to stock cars and modify "LE" versions of those cars. thats where modders came.

Since MW2012 we had these 'hero' cars as DLC's in some form, or either a free update.
Now the latter is fine, i don't want these cars in every single game but if you are gonna add them, let it be in an update.
But to sell them? At least MW2012 was a new era of NFS games and so the cars were actually new, but they werent new in 2015, nor Payback, nor Heat, nor now. This should not be paid.
Pants. We want direct replicas. 2015 tried to do "almost" replica and it didn't went well. I agree it would be nice to mess about with more than wheels, but I do appreciate we got 1:1 versions. It sucks we have to pay for this for multiple reasons.
Man I just saw an Unbound video with what the blacklist racers cars would look like and I'm seeing this and to be honest, this pisses me off with EA even more fam!!!!!! They could literally recreate Most Wanted O.G with the current mechanics and recreate the story and it would sell especially if they add side stories. BUT THE FREAKIN CHOOSE NOT TO!!!!!! AAAARRRRRGGGGHHHHHH.

This is one of the things I was scared of with Criterion taking over Need for Speed. We got a decent game from the start (while I preferred NFS Heat myself, they technically did listen when we all said we wanted to go back to the Blackbox era), but now it's riddled with these minor microtransactions. Even FH5, on the rare occasion that they do release new customization, did so for free, and that's saying something, because I am no Playground Games fan. I thought we were past the EA Era of Egregious Microtransactions, but apparently not. This is just lazy. I'd rather buy an expansion pack with these cars for full price, than pay a single penny for the cars alone. Never has a game taken me so fast from hyped and excited to disappointed and underwhelmed.

Heat is the best NFS since the reboot.
New events for the DLC would mean they had to get work done to get money. That's unacceptable for modern gaming development standards.
They also only give us these classic NFS cars because the models are and have alraady been in the games a long time.. we wont get razors mustang for example because its a car that woukd require them to work on a new model..
At this point, I'll just return to heat until crew motorsport arrives...

If you don't mind playing offline in PC to avoid being banned you could use Cheat engine to recreate the bodykits and the vynils are already available only the decals you may have to use alt ones. And not pay a dime for something that should be available.
I will not be satisfied until we get an UG 1&2 remaster 😊
I would he happier if they gave us these parts as optional body kits. I've wanted those tail lights for so long on the 350z.
