Personally I’d place Chroma in S(mainly cause I main him) due to versatility in his personal survivability and wide range of stuff you can build around him with. Otherwise I agree with almost everything on the list, besides valkyr due to the new melee stuff allowing for quick hunter adrenaline energy refills.
i would've put gara in the same place you did if her 4 didn't get nerved like crazy, which was needed but not that much.

It's hilarious how much a Nullifier can cripple a Limbo, especially with a mid- to max-range cataclysm build.

Equilibrium / Despoil Nekros modded for Duration and Power is a disturbingly good tank and chaos frame. You constantly lose health from Despoil, which gives you more health orb and energy orb drops, which you can pick up to regain more energy while healing, and spamming his 4 or 2 and picking up energy orbs, which heals him, and also gives you 7 scaling minions with a healthy damage and health boost. He ends up having absurd levels of sustain. His Shadows are better than people give them credit for, they draw enemy fire away from you also dish it back harder than they take. They wont clear rooms, but they will GUARANTEED win a fight against a non-shadow variant, and the constant energy gain from Equilibrium / Despoil allows you to spam 4 to heal your shadows endlessly, essentially making your Nekros a walking army at all times.
It's also fun to play collector by chasing down powerful enemies like Eximus with the intention of summoning them later.
The only true full negative he has other than no map-clearing potential and a useless 1 is that if you cast Shadows at the wrong time and a shotgun enemy turns the corner, your ass is hitting the dirt, and getting downed destroys your kill history for Shadows, meaning you can't summon new ones until you kill 7 more enemies.
I still think that nezha shouldn't be in mid, I mean I hate to quote brozime here but, being fast rhino is reeaally good
People underestimate Reaping Chakram at high power strength too. Because of the double-dip scaling it has with the damage, the damage amp and then the DOT it can brute force kill a high level nox after a couple of bounces. Somebody call Phil Swift because that's a lotta damage.
HammerspaceCreature also in the first part he said that rhinos ironskin is jus a better version of his halo, which is true but being immortal or being slightly less immortal is not that big of a difference
@@faber7507 It's arguably better, since taking some damage instead of no damage means you can use things like Rage and Equilibrium (can't pick up health orbs on full health) to generate energy.

nezha is pretty all rounded CC support and can deal dmg .offended that he put him in mid . with nezha ive never faced any issues with energy and health. and also nezhas firewalker synergies with lenz quite well, i can do close range shots with lenz and escape it in a flash or use warding halo if i mess up the escape.

Well, I assume that's his thought process at least. I personally tend to bring a bow for my primary and just make up for it with a good, clearing secondary like Catchmoon when I'm playing Ivara. Save on energy, and all that.
Perhaps, yeah. But any self-respecting ivara player knows to at least bring one silenced weapon in your loadout to conserve energy. I personally use baza or silenced synapse as a primary and doesn't bother using a secondary, but i have a covert lethality dagger just in case.

As an Oberon _main,_ I think his position on the list is appropriate, since while he has arguably the best overall heal in the game (It's fast, reliable, and pretty much fire-and-forget unless you're fighting something like Corpus with nofunifiers to occasionally strip the buff off your teammates.), he's still not going to outperform crowd control or attack damage buff-oriented frames in their own roles, and as everybody seems to be pointing out, they can't hurt you if they're _dead._ Also, the armor strip is nice, but too situational and like I more indirectly just said, he's competing with too many frames which completely outclass him when it comes to debuffing and/or brutally murdering clusters of enemies, including the majority of frames on Trib's S-tier. He's great for general use and is rarely unwelcome on a team, kinda like Trinity, but for most specific tasks, I have better frames which I use instead. So yeah, come at me with your devil trigger, bro. I'll just Phoenix revive and rad-proc you with my astroturf into attacking Spicy Memer. Trib can thank me later.

Ye, but like I said High and Tippity Top tier are incredibly close. I had to really struggle to find faults with the ones in High tier if it wasn't obvious. I.E: Nidus only being in High because he's *too well balanced*
I put Rhino where he was because - as a Jack of all Trades frame your only real downside is not being particularly great at any one thing, but for some reason Rhino is great both as a damage buffer *and* as a crowd controller.
To this day I don't understand why I can have a Rhino with a 70 meter Stomp radius. That's no exaggeration either- that's how far I can build his Stomp. Makes Interceptions incredibly easy hehe
But if he didn't have Roar he defo wouldn't be at the top. Damage is king right now after all. But he can do a bit more than something like a Chroma so I opted to put him higher.

Honestly, I feel like I should like her. She is everything I want in a frame in most cases. I want to keep out of sight and assist the team in any capacity I can and I even have fun just maintaining my powers while doing so...It's just what I like to do. I like keeping my power up and running and having something to do at all times. That said...I DESPERATELY need a good song to work with. I can't, for the life of me, find any good songs that I can reliably land with my invisible crouch. Then again, when the best way to really stack your points for that are slow beats it feels too slow to be viable in some scenarios. But this is me bitching. I am normally a Vauban Main who just likes locking down his foes and laughing as he cuts off some choke point or Hyrdon Defense when I am bored. I like my simple powers and maintaining them for the good of our objective.
That said, anyone perhaps have any song recommendations anywhere? Something you find really easy to get a beat to and upkeep? I would love to see them.
@@Project129 Just make a song that has a note on every single beat for your third channel, which is the one that governs her 3. That way you don't actually have to think about when you crouch or shoot or jump, because you'll be building towards the buff regardless. That's how... well, basically everybody does it.

Felicia Larsen Trinity is definitely the top support right now, but i hate to say it but either she needs a nerf or all the other supports needs a buff, she simply outclassed every support in every way aside from cc or dps

i think if harrow also benefited from his teammates also getting his abilities when he uses them he wouldn't have to fight his team constantly, but it would have t be a very low precent as to not make it too op
They probably did it on purpose specifically because of how good he is already. It's honestly an easy negative to work around though so I can't complain too much. Outside of his 4 anyways, it's always fun to activate it in a group of infested or something and then a Mesa comes and just mows them all down.

I absolutely love Saryn's Max Range/Power build. You literally clear enemies you didn't know existed.
People sleep on Oberon. Glad someone else recognizes just how good he really is right now. Easily my most used frame.
Absolute Godsent in Eidolon hunts and Arbitration.

Trib didn't even mention his *costly* but still there armor stripping potential. Don't worry bruh, he's a pretty good support frame.
Armor stripping priority targets never gets too costly for me. Rather than run efficiency I run Hunter Adrenaline. Only time I run out of energy us if Im running too low a mission lol
you play oberon for 1 of 3 reasons.
1: you suck at the game and decided you are a dispencer that dispences free revives
2: you think rad is a hilarious effect and want to turn the map into your swamp
3: you are great at the game and know how to use all his tools correctly
i fall under the first one btw, but prepping a room with chernobyl grass and watching as the enemies walk into the grass, then snap 180 degrees and start beating the shit out of their lifelong friend for seemingly no reason is fucking hilarious

One thing about limbo I found out that absolutely makes me love this trickster; He can carry all four dragon keys with little to no hindrance. What do I mean? Go into a capture mission in a party of four, capture your target and the other members spread out to find the vault. In the meanwhile, you go into invincibility mode which takes care of the first two (Shield/health) and can bullet jump which negates the speed hindrance as it's not affected. And because you're a key mule, Extinguished is useless in regards to holding you back.
It's a very efficient method which made me find limbo less of a hated character once you know your role for these runs. and while yes, you will encounter them bubble killjoys. Just bullet jump away and chain into dodge to go back like as nothing happened.
Nezha, an uber tank who shares that tanky love and washes it down with an added helping of separate-multiplier damage buffing, highly accurate barrier based CC, one of the most precisely targetable teleports in the game (rivalled only by Loki cuz Decoy,) a radial low-lvl nuke/ragdoll CC (complete with melee buffing status effects and AI sight disruption due to ragdoll state), dual orb creation which can get utterly crazy with Synth Fiber+Equilibrium and Reaping Chakram, (i often get up to and past 200 energy from a single Chakram), and who even then still manages to LIVE AT LIGHT SPEED... In mid tier? that level of raw versatility screams "high tier minimum," and that's mostly because high tier and S tier are interchangeable as you mentioned.
Nezha's rework changed a lot more about him on a mechanical level than it seems at first glance, or than most have recognized. He's not competing with Rhino anymore, more squaring with the likes of Gara, Harrow and Volt. With Gara's incredibly annoying upkeep and energy thirst, Harrow's permanent pseudo-Conclave, and Volt's simply inferior speed compared to Nezha, he's arguably not competing, but subtly secretly surpassing with a slide and a shrug... The Joker of All Trades.
Thats true and all but you must consider how he works in accordance with other frames. Nezha is an amazing frame,i can testify to that, but he is not very good in all his fields. He deals great cc but doesnt deal great damage, that is unless you use your 2 and shoot the enemies. And even then its an unreliable debuff since it only works on 5-8 enemies at best. He is also limited by his builds. You can only benefit from a few abilities at a time for every build. If you want to be more tanky then u go for strength, trading efficiency and duration. And you also wouldnt risk overextended so no range unless you go for stretch or augur reach. Even so you created a bandaid to your build. All in all he isn't in high tier because he falls off in a lot of ways. And he doesn't deal much damage to compensate for his cc, relying mainly on his gear.
He does however helps quite a lot in teamplay sibce he makes health orb drops much more common. He also keeps enemies in place with his 4 which makes things a bit easier for his team. And now we hit the crux of the argument. He works well with a team only. He does fairly well in survivals but he falls off over time. Relying on his 3 won't help since the only useful feature about it would be the cc and short invincibility. His 4 doesnt help a lot against nullifiers which means he can't sustain full control of an area.
I agree that he doesnt belong in mid tier but he also falls short of high due to his role as utility cc (with some debuffing on a group of enemies)
FamousGlory there's several misconceptions here, caused by those subtle, hard to notice, but massively impactful mechanical changes my original comment mentioned; it took me a fair bit to think past these as well, after so long in my 5 forma 14k halo days. :P You're right that his build *feels* pulled in too many different directions post rework, i had the same feeling looking at what he used to want and all the extra stats he now also wants; but then I realized he actually doesn't need some of his old directions anymore due to those very same changes, and that clever buildcraft can exceed the rest far beyond usual.
For starters, strength isn't tankiness for Nezha anymore, hell sometimes it's a dump stat; Halo is a buff to your other health bars, not it's own health bar, so strength's effect on halo is a glorified duration meter, one that doesn't need to matter so long as you can always recast. Going for a cheap disposable halo clears lots of build space by negating armor and making medium or even base strength plenty enough, unless you want high str for another ability. Also, building Halo with low strength specifically for the dispel period brings interesting results; my 10% strength extreme levels build is one of my tankiest, using the ease with which Halo's invincibility period is triggered at 143 halo duration to ensure that i only ever take one hit at once, and get a grace period to completely recover no matter how hard it was. only a single hit higher than my entire ehp pool at the exact right time in my cycle can kill me at all, and considering the many layers of DR from halo and QT, (adaptation is currently in testing) that's one massive fuckin hit.
Effiency is an added direction he feels pulled in post-rework, due to the impetus to spam chakram, and before Fortuna i agree that it had been quite a problem; however the addition of Synth Fiber and it's ability to always pick up health orbs means he can now fill up almost an entire primed flow off a single lucky Reaping Chakram cast, using Equilibrium. Base efficiency is fine as even a single marked enemy still breaks even with 30% chance of grofit, and you can risk negative eff if you're okay being slightly less trigger happy on the 2 button.
He's probably one of the least team dependent frames due to his ability to support himself, defend others and in most cases zone out locations, but i do see why it can *feel* like he needs teammates; it's an issue every frame that tries to rely on CC to handle several areas at once struggles with. It's the one part of his kit that refuses to work quite right because Not Work Quite Right is what CC does in current Warframe, making it feel lIke you need teammates to handle places Nezha could otherwise lock down alone. However, he could lock em down, and in most cases still can; it's a game issue, not a frame issue, and needs to be approached like one. Hopefully DE nerfs the ways that units resist CC and stops them being able to entirely ignore it, and that will round him out to a true omn, handling everything in the game with ease instead of handling everything with the occasional bit of difficulty.

I main Gara, and honestly, not that many people use her, I rarely see anyone with Gara
I like to play as damage/support roles and I feel that Gara is the perfect mix of those roles
(Mainly because of the *INFINITE* damage potential, and her cc/defense)
Yea. I mainly use her on defense and survival. When it gets overwhelming outside then i break the wall. Which is all the time since my friends are lazy and always stays inside the wall (thank god one of them is trinity so i can maintain my wall and my 2)

Feels like since the new Wukong rework he could easily be in high tier now. He’s kind of like Excalibur except with some of the raw power of exalted blade shifted to his other abilities.
And even then Wukong gets a great exalted weapon of his own and a shadow clone. I’ve been running him with no melee weapons and maxed out Ignis Wraith and hoo boy ... I could legitimately afk on defense missions and go do something else while my clone soloed the mission with no team mates xD

I have several spots I disagree with, but the one i'll focus on is Saryn being the "best" right now. Her mass AoE killing potential is all but wasted on anything that isn't Sanctuary onslaught. Like yes, it's strong damage. But any other strong DPS frame can contend with her rather easily outside SO. I'd say Octavia is the best frame in the game. Buff management is far easier than spore management. Especially when you rely on your allies to be participating to keep her spores up.
With octavia the game kills itself. She gives everyone free unlimited cloak. And absurd damage buffs. She's actually a meta pick for the first orb valus fight. Where as Saryn really doesn't @ bosses.
To put it another way, Saryn is never demanded for in anything that's not ESO. But octavia can fit into any comp for any mode. And is arguably more survivable with insane DPS. Saryn murders the game. Octavia obliterates it.

I remember the time that DE "nerfed" Sayrn's Spores (when they automatically did Viral damage and you could place them on your Molt decoy) and then created a monster that has a higher bloodlust than Garuda.
Plus, not sure if it's a glitch or not, but you can still use her Toxic Lash ability, even if you encounter a Nullifier while in the middle of it

Should be in mid because she has something very few frames have, an attack speed buff. She can make heavy blades have the attack speed of a dagger and have easily infinite duration with an augment.

Volt, Mag and Ash deserve to be in high tier
@@gavindao6754 ash can survive forever, quite literally. 100% armour strip + enhanced slash with invisibility.
Volt shield is impenetrable and instantly doubles critical damage, 2 buffs reload and attack speed better than anything else in game. 4 has capacitate making volt on par with mag and hildryn as a shield tank.

Wow, that makes me really happy. I watch all these other videos of "best warframes" and I never see Saryn on the list! I almost come to belief that shes forgotten about. Before her entire rework, I used her molt augment for better survivability, she was practically invincible if I didn't want to use healing return on my Mele. Then after her rework, I was deeply disappointed, then figured out her toxic lash could be used on every weapon! Wow that opened so many doors, especially if you wanted to do long solo runs on excavation or something, which the toxic lash augment comes even more in handy than before! I love many other warframe but saryn by far has always been my favorite from the beginning, I used to even argue she was better than ember... Before embers debuf of course 🤣
Long ass rant about nezha but I think you should give it a look seeing as how hes placed in mid tier.
I've found nezha to be incredibly good for any aspect of warframe. His 1 can kill anything he runs past in lower level missions, gives a bit of defense in mid tier missions and cleanses allies in high tier missions. His 2 debuffs enemies to the point that if you have a corrosive weapon with high proc chance to strip armor or another frame with you that can do that more effectively, or possibly combining that frame with a viral proc, not much survives. Not to mention that when combined with his 4 it doubles the coverage of the debuff and when also combined with the reaping chakram augment, deals significant damage to any group if enemies you come across. I've been able to clear out rooms in eximus stronghold sorties without the augment with just a large number of enemies and combining his 4 and 2 abilities. His 3 gives him insane damage resistance that, while not giving him complete invulnerability, is potentially more useful than other shields of that nature. His chakram generates health and energy orbs if you kill anything with the debuff so if something ends up damaging you and hitting your health, cast your 4 and 2, kill em, and you're back at full health. This synergizes well with equilibrium and rage. His 4, while amazing at clearing rooms in early levels, doesnt scale well regarding damage. However it does completely cease damage from enemies nearby and splits the chakram for more damage from that and more debuffs.
This concludes my in depth assessment of my favorite blender shota.
Soooo of my 4 favourite frames, 3 are in low tier and the forth is THE best.

You've still drastically underrated Nezha.
I personally don't enjoy Nova in either of her typical variants, but I would never, ever steer anyone away from her. I'd never tell anyone she's anything but an excellent frame, because she is. And a lot of people really do enjoy playing her and I'll happily point that out to anyone looking at her too. I just don't personally enjoy her.
It's starting to feel like you just don't like Nezha, since you don't like speed. But you're also unfairly discounting the value of his other abilities. Putting Rhino in S-Tier but Nezha in Mid is really, really weird. They are not actually separated by that much, they're hardly different in overall power and usefulness at all, yet you have an entire tier between them. Nezha does *not* belong in Mid, he doesn't fit with with the other Mid frames, he belongs in High.
I suppose it's possible that it's a Banshee situation where you're maybe overlooking something about him (other than the speed which you've acknowledged), but I'm not convinced of that. It really does start to seem like you just plain do not *like* him as much as you like Rhino (though he is indeed basic, Rhino's still just really damned *cool*), but that's not the same thing as having an entire tier between them in actual power or usefulness. They just don't.
You mention seeing Rhino as king of all trades, but when I think of strong generalist frames Nezha's actually my first thought.
All that said, the weirdness about Nezha aside, these videos were a lot of fun, thanks for them. I hope you feel better soon :)

Also I think something you neglected to mention with Ivara is her augment mods which allow her to make her Prowl more viable allowing her to bypass the majority of Spy missions bar a few exceptions (Uranus Submersible) and Rescue with being able to use cloak arrows. I don't think that's enough to move her into S but it's something that makes her a Queen stealth based missions.

Although i do agree nezha should be higher up, Rhino imo is still much better, he overall have more efficient cc, more support with his powerful damage buff, all nezha has that rhino doesn’t is an ok group wiping tool that is his 4 and 2, but i’d easily trade that for the utility rhino provides, and im not even a fan of rhino

Mag: Yes. Some well-deserved respect.
Chroma: I want Chroma Prime badly... he's really cool.
Inaros: I have this one! He's... kind of boring. I dunno, maybe I just need to get a better handle on his powers.
Ivara: I need to get better with Ivara. My main gripe is that when not actively using her cloak (which has downsides) she's really fragile. Other than that, she just needs the investment and practice.
Limbo: I honestly half-expected him to be in S tier, but I'm not going to push it. if you know what you're doing, Limbo is god mode. No excuses.
Loki: ...yes. I don't really know much, and I don't see him much? But from what I know this is all correct.
Nova: I really need to get a nova at some point. Unlike some of the other high-end options, she looks REALLY fun.
Excalibur: The thing that always strikes me as odd is that he has the worst survivability for the starter frames. I don't know how it is at high level, but for beginners the shield restores from Mag or Volt are really great.
Oberon: Yep. Oberon is also one where a novice can pick it up and all his abilities are pretty intuitive and effective, meaning that they can contribute without needing to be good.
Harrow: I think Harrow might be better if his parts weren't so hard to get and people knew how to play around him better. Other than that, he's really an endgame frame that works best in the hands of players who know what they're doing.
Nidus: Heck yeah! All of this! The thing about Nidus is that he MUST build stacks. If the mission doesn't allow for building stacks (Typically bad spawning luck giving lots of heavies or short but intense missions) he can't really do much of anything. In order to be good at Nidus... you honestly have to be GOOD.
Gara: Hey, one thing you missed: Her 3 is also CC, it's faster and cheaper than using 4, and it's pretty effective. Other than that, I just wish her 2 had better duration so I didn't have to refresh it ALL THE TIME.
Equinox: Has a second build? I've never seen it. I've only ever seen the maim build. Does equinox have more powers than maim? I've never seen any powers other than maim. I'm not sure if you're messing with me. But seriously, nerf maim.
Octavia: Welll I ain't got rhythm... No I ain't got rhythm...
Rhino: Yeah this is where I expected him to be. My gripe with him is that he IS so basic and so good: I find him really. Boring. Specifically because he is both basic and good! Seeing Rhino on your team is kind of like, 'oh. It's you.' because they all have the same basic build and playstyle because he really only has the one. It's REALLY REALLY good, just... predictable.
Mesa: In my opinion mesa needs to be rebalanced. I'm against any frame skating through missions on one power, and that's something Mesa does with aplomb. On top of her 1 being fairly useless once you get her 4. Though, she's lower priority for this than equinox.
Trinity: My main gripe on tirinity is that she can lean on her 4 and her 1 is pretty useless. She's like the Mesa of healing.
Saryn: I expected her in high, I'd accept her in top, never guessed she'd be empress. That said, I can't rebuke any of your points. Heck! My favorite gimmick is to put a corrosive weapon on her, and then slap her 3, and ignore both armor and shields.
Hildryn: Uh... yeah, high is fair. I'm not sold on her balefire chargers myself, but she's still really good.
Final thoughts: Seriously, nerf maim. Equinox has something like 7 powers and I only ever see one used.

Amazing list, good job Triburos. I think the only comment I would have would be about Rhino, I like Rhino a lot, it is the go to beginner frame as well, but he lacks a lot compared to other S tier frames, but thats very subjective of course. Thanks for the list and very entertaining videos.
The thing about Rhino is that he makes S tier frames even better. His Roar is the strongest buff in the game that also buffs the damage of abilities, since Chroma's and Octavia's only affect weapons.
Thought Saryn was absurd? Get a Rhino with a 150% roar in the same room with her and she becomes even more ridiculous. Every frame in the game with DPS abilities vastly benefits from having him in the squad.

One thing about chroma, his 4 does give a discount radial blind, helping in a form of crowd control, he isn't just the weapon DPS king, he has something to support it. Though I do agree that his one needs a drastic rework or just completely scrape it. If his one got buffed, might as well make him s tier.

The fact that Rhino is S tier, and Nezha is mid tier, really shows how out of touch you are with current Nezha. Post-rework Nezha is not only a strictly better Rhino, but an incredibly all rounded frame with speed, dot from firewalker, aoe cc from his 4, 200% damage amplification, and effectively immortal by chaining 3's windows of invulnerability (invulnerable upon shield break and cast). I'm not even quite sure I'd put Nezha/Rhino into S tier, but Nezha and Rhino being two entire tiers apart is a huge oversight.
See, imho Nezha is jut crap and deserves not even Mid Tier.
I like Nezha after his rework, but I don't think he's anywhere near close to Rhino. Rhino still has better survivability, better CC and with Roar he becomes one of the best DPS frames in the game as well as an amazing team support. Remember that Roar not only increases the damage of weapons but also of abilities, making frames like Saryn even better. What Nezha has over Rhino is a strong damaging move and speed (even though Rhino with a lot of range and the Arcane Vanguard helmet gets pretty close), which while handy aren't really crucial.
I do agree though that Nezha should be in high tier, I would easily put him at least in the same tier as Excalibur.

Might I point out hydroid is likely mid tier at least. Ppl don’t seem to understand his survivability. If he’s in a bind, u can puddle to recover shields and even tidal wave out of dodge. Ppl just assume the tide is for memes and puddle is for lazy drowning. That shit just wastes energy. Those abilities are best used as a safety net

I agree just about everything here except Nezha, I think after his rework he is firmly in high tier, maybe lower high tier if you had to. I'd argue that his warding halo is just straight up better than iron skin at this point because of the invulnerability period after breaking and synergy with Rage. Blazing Chakram's damage output with his augment is crazy good, but you dont even need it because the damage vulnerability and energy drops are more than enough. Safeguard is a bit weird for me, think its fantastic but you do need to sacrifice quite a bit to fit in a build, leaving you with a less tanky build for the most part.
i know there was a passing mention of saryns molt, but that is legitimately the most underrated cc ability in the game. it is an almost perfect enemy aggro draw with unlimited range, only being affected by line of sight. if you put a molt down 10 meteres away from an objective, enemies will almost entirely ignore the objective and target the molt. its not a super amazing cc mind you, enemies can and will still hit you sometimes by accident, and it doesnt affect things like bombard rockets (note: i mean just the rocket, bombards will still attack the molt. the rockets will however sometimes come after you), but saryn's survivability is greatly increased by its inclusion in her kit. if not for molt, the enemies that dont die from spores would actually be a threat :^)
the only drawback to molt is that it is cast where you are standing, and cant be "aimed" like lokis, which is pretty minor all things considered.
Resonance with 200% dur at the very least also makes lighting enemies up like candles a lot easier*, stacking is also better than having a single spot with high multi
