Excellent! I appreciate that you put in the work so all the people out here with a full (wife) honey-do schedule are spending 20 minutes listen to someone who loves the sound of their own voice more than explain how to get it done and move on. Mech-Jack, R R the best. Rock on.
@@cameramike6 google Nissan rogue acuator and look at pictures until you find one with yellow clip on the end of the cable , that is what you need to look to connect to the actual door mechanism
lol I’ve had my Nissan for two years now and been having door problems the drivers side door doesn’t unlock when I lock the car and have to open it from inside (can’t manually unlock it too), the passenger side door won’t lock with the remote have to manually lock it from the inside and it makes that noise and I’ve always thought it’s a sound setting that comes with the car lol
Nissan says they want $375 for the part 2/23. Found an oem part online for $198. Lists at 300 online, vs 375 at Nissan. Paying $175 for an hour’s labor seems worth it after viewng the process.
You’re not just paying for the labor, you’re paying for them knowing how do to that job.m without screwing it up or having to watch a sped up video on TH-cam. The problem with these mechanic videos is they’re sped up and don’t show the time and money it takes to learn how to do that stuff. Performing your own car repairs requires hundreds if not thousands of dollar investment in tools; not including the price of the toolbox itself. And non mechanics don’t get to write off their tools as they aren’t using them to for a living.
I watched six or seven other videos on how to replace the actuator in my Nissan and your video is definitely the best one on youtube. Thank you.
Wow, you are a good mechanic...

Thank you, for your video, I just replaced the rear actuator on my wife 2009 murano.
I wish you had shown the door lock actuator repair too.
best video on you tube thank you
The best video out there
You left out the removal of the inside linkage .. it’s attached and if you yank to hard it will snap .. there are little yellow fastener in place
Is this for the door panel or the actuator?
@@benderbendingrodriguez6697 actuator
Can you explain more"inside Linkage" to what part, attached where on the door frame, assuming?

Im assuming the process is fairly similar for a 370z once the door panel is removed. I will be trying this repair tomorrow.
Is there any solution without replacing it?
