This the best explanation video on repairing & replacing the Nissan door lock actuator. The video and the narration are exceptional. Thank you for your expertise.
good shit dude, you helped me do this myself. my car was a little different (didnt have that last clip before taking actuator out) but everything else was the same. a lot of the stuff was a pain in the ass. you made it look easy lol
@@luckysdiygarage Thank you! I'll check. At AutoZone they didn't know what it, is and guessed that it might be a weather strip adhesive. I bought some, but was in doubts. I looked now on Amazon and it is exactly what I needed (tube between the layers, I think I need 1/4"), and looks exactly the same as the original. Thank you again.
That cable to the handle doesn't need to be moved. Just remove the cable from the new one and toss it. Use the existing cable to the handle and connect it to the actuator.
Thank you for this video got my wife's car all done!!!!

Very nice detailed instructions 👌
Great job. Thank you.
Thank you very very much ❤
Can this be used as a guide for replacing the actuator on a 2019 pathfinder? I can’t seem to find any videos online for that model 2019 pathfinder SV
Thanks 🙏
@2:21 What glue is it? I removed that cover and might need some more of it to put the pad back. Thank you for the informative film.

I think the ball on the cable detached, would I have to remove the actuator to get to that cable?

That would be an easier way..but it's a customer's car ..and they supplied the part..so I gotta do it the honest and right way..
@@luckysdiygarageplus those cables stretch over time, and could even be frayed somewhere you can’t see.
